Courteney's POV:
7 A.M. and I am up and out of bed ready to start the day. Today's the big day, day one of filming "Friends." I'm nervous but more so excited about this new chapter of my life. I quickly get dressed and make my way to set. Once I get there I make my way to my trailer to get set up and take it all in. I'm really here this is actually my life this is happening. After a few minutes of realization I walk out of my trailer and into hair, wardrobe, and makeup. I chat with the crew and Lisa and Jen join me once they finally arrive. "Can you believe it's actually show day!" Lisa says with full enthusiasm. Jen and I laugh and agree with her statement. "It's just so surreal, I love it." After we're all glammed up we go onto set. As I'm making my way there I notice Matt LeBlanc and Matthew Perry running into wardrobe, clearly someone's late. We finish taping and make our way into a group convulsing with Marta and David and the rest of the crew about the days work and how each day is going to look like from here on out. I gather my five cast mates in a small area and ask them if they want to have a "team bonding" night at my place this evening. Luckily they all agree and plan to meet back at my place at six. We all walk off set and I make my way to my car and as I do so take a quick glance at Matthew and can't help but think about the first time we met.
Several Months Prior:
Well clearly I'm a good actress because I'm heading onto set for a new sit com titled, "Friends" this morning. I'm so nervous and left a bit early so I could make it to set on time. I walk around the set trying to figure out where exactly I'm supposed to be meeting. I walk into a room and notice several chairs with the casts name on it and one young man already taking up one. Wow he's so dreamy. I take my seat which happens to be placed right next to his. He turns to face me as I take my seat, and with a polite introduction takes my hand and expresses to me, "Hi I'm Matthew, Matthew Perry." I blush at his clearly comical gesture. I shake his hand back and with a smirk reply, "Hi Matthew I'm Courteney, Courteney Cox." He laughs clearly catching onto what I had just done and I continue the conversation. "So Matthew, Matthew Perry, who might you be playing on 'Friends?" He chuckles once again before replying with, "Well Ms. Cox I'm playing Chandler Bing, and who might you be portraying?" I blush and smile at this new nickname he's trying out. "Monica Geller." We chat for quite a while until the rest of the cast and crew enter and I think to myself, this is going to be quite a fun experience.
Present Day:
I arrive home and instantly get things ready for tonight. I clean up each room in the house thoroughly as to please my guests and not make it look like I'm a slob. I gather up a bunch of snacks and drinks in the kitchen with plates and cups for easier access. I light a fire in the living room and set up coasters along the coffee and side tables. I gather up a bunch of movies and games to entertain us for the evening and settle down taking one last glance to make sure everything looks set when there's a knock on the door. I rush over and open it to reveal my first guest. Him. "Matthew hi, welcome!"
