Etho's Perspective-

If you asked me why, I can't tell you.

I'm not even entirely sure why myself.

All I know is that my heart's been aching without him.

I didn't know if we were over forever, and I'm glad I asked.

I still thought we were taking a break.

Well...that's not entirely true.

A part of me thought that we were over forever, but the other part thought that Bdubs would've told me that.

But I guess not.

We grew apart, but hopefully we can heal that.

I think he wants to try again as he's giving me a second chance.

And maybe things would work out.

The Next Day-

"ETHO!"

Etho jumped and turned around.

His eyes widened as he saw Scar run up to him.

"What is your plan with Bdubs?"

"W-what?" Etho stuttered, shocked.

He had never seen Scar act out like this.

No one ever has.

"You heard me." Scar snarled, getting up close to Etho's face as he stabbed a finger into his chest, "What- are- you- planning- with- Bdubs?"

"N-nothing!"

"Then why are you stuttering?"

"Because you're freaking me out."

Scar stepped back.

"Alright, then tell me the truth."

"The truth is that I want to try and get with Bdubs. I miss- "

"Don't. You. Dare."

"W-what?"

"Do you know what happened when you broke up with him?"

"I- "

"When you didn't answer any of his calls or texts? When you two refused to talk to each other? Do you know how many nights Bdubs spent in tears with a broken heart? Do you know how he felt when you smiled and laughed with other people, seeming unaffected by what had happened over the summer? Do you know anything?"

Scar was now pacing around Etho, whose eyes were following Scar nervously.

"I- he never mentioned- "

"And do you know how furious I am with you?"

Etho gulped and Scar stopped pacing and turned to face Etho.

"I don't know what you're planning, but whatever it is, I will- "

"Scar!"

Scar jumped and turned around to see his boyfriend running up to him.

"There you are! I was waiting for you. Oh, hey Etho!" Grian smiled cheerfully as he waved to Etho.

Etho smiled nervously and waved back.

"Come on, let's go get a table." Grian said, holding Scar's hand.

Scar smiled softly and nodded.

"Gimme a sec, Gri, I need to finish talking with Etho."

Grian sighed, "Is this about what happened with Bdubs?"

Scar turned red from embarrassment.

"I told you last night that you need to chill out. I trust Etho, and you should too. And you should trust Bdubs and his choice. He said that he was- "

Grian cut himself off as he looked at Etho before continuing.

"Bdubs told you his thoughts and you should trust him."

"But..." Scar sighed, "I'm just worried about him getting hurt."

Grian smiled at Etho.

"I don't think Etho will do that again. And besides," Grian said, turning back to his boyfriend, "I'm sure Etho thought him and Bdubs taking a break from their relationship was for the best. And besides, now he knows for sure that Bdubs and Doc were always just good friends since Ren and Doc are dating."

Etho smiled and nodded.

Scar sighed and turned to Etho, folding is arms.

"If you try anything- "

"Scar." Grian cut across.

Scar held up a hand and Grian narrowed his eyes.

"If you try anything that will hurt Bdubs, I will show you no mercy." Scar snarled before leaning back and sighing, "But...I do miss seeing Bdubs as happy as he was when he was with you."

Etho smiled softly.

Scar then nodded, took Grian's hand, and walked away.

Etho watched them leave and felt someone tap his shoulder.

He jumped and turned around.

Skylar was there, looking nervous.

"Hey Skylar! Er- do you know where Bdubs is? I wanna talk with him."

Skylar looked terrified as she whispered,

"He's in the hospital."
