Me and Mars were having a staredown while the others were fighting the Mineral Clones, we didn't move but instead waited for the other to make a move.

It was Mars who made the first move and attacked me with mineral projectiles, I use Umbra Manipulation to easily deflect them. Mars creates more of those projectiles but shaped them as knives.

Blue: If you want to hit me then you have to do better

I create a shadow barrier that protects me from his attacks, when I put the barrier down, I was immediately attacked by a Mars clone. I move my head and use Dusk Manufacture to create a shadow knife and stab it in its core, destroying it.

Mars makes more clones that rush at me with nothing but their fists. I casually avoided all of their attacks and counter with each punch they throw at me.

I create a shadow spear and use it to parry and strike the clones, destroying them. I look at Mars who didn't expect me to easily counter all of his efforts.

Mars: Why won't you die?

Blue: Believe me, I want to but this cruel world will not let go of me. So I am forced to do my part and take you out.

Mars was slightly angry and creates another giant, mineral swords, he brings it down on me but in the blink of an eye, I create another shadow sword and slash the mineral sword into 4 pieces that were still considerably large.

I throw the shadow sword at Mars and it connects with his shoulder, next I use Umbra Manipulation to grab a piece of the mineral sword with shadows while it was in the air still and threw it at him.

It crushes him against the wall and I do the same with the remaining three pieces, piling it all on him. Just as I finished, the others had taken care of the other clones.

Asta: I didn't think you would take him out so easily Blue! He seemed strong

Blue:......He was nothing

Yuno: I should've been the one to beat him but I was too weak, how did you get this strong?

Blue: I learnt more about my magic and I improved myself every day, if you want to get strong Yuno, you have to understand your magic more

Yuno: I see.......

Luck: Blue can we fight after?

Blue: No, now hurry up, we are at the treasure room

Asta: You're right!

Mimosa: Umm how do we open it?

Blue: Asta, use your sword

Asta: Yes boss!

Klaus: Please, this door is an ancient magic door, it will need more than a sword to break thro-

Asta proceeds to shut Klaus up by using his sword to break the giant entrance open, we all walked in and saw many gold coins and other treasures were littered all over this giant room.

Asta: Look at all this treasure!

Noelle: A-Anyone could be rich from just this!

Klaus: Don't touch any of it! We need to securely deliver it back to the Royal Capital

Everyone ignored him and started to look around including myself, triggering Klaus even more who decided to give up and look around as well.

I wasn't interested in anything in here, it was just either gold, valuable items such as swords, necklaces and chains. Asta dived in the gold and Yuno was looking at some sort of scroll, I was going to leave the Dungeon but then a sudden feeling came over me.

It was calling me in a voice that I didn't hear but thought, It was coming from a blind spot in the room, the others were still preoccupied so I went over to it. I had to turn the corner and go down a hallway before turning right.

I had reached a dead end and saw nothing so I was going to turn around but then I noticed that the way back wasn't there anymore. Instead it was just a black space, I looked around and realised that my surroundings was some sort of black void.

Blue: Where am I?

Before I could react, shadows had restrained me, wrapping around my wrists and ankles. The ground below disappears and I could feel myself in the air, I look around to see if anything will attack me while also trying to break free.

I hear something travelling at a fast pace and look ahead, I couldn't see anything but then suddenly something pierces through my chest. I let out a pained gasp and look to see that some sort of black thing had stabbed me near my heart.

I cough out blood except it was black, this made me realise that my mask wasn't on my face no more.

W-What is this? Is this pain? How long has it been? I can't even remember anymore. Also why am I coughing out black blood?

Is this my actual blood colour and I didn't know? Maybe that's why father hated me.......I'm just a bad omen, a curse.......maybe I did kill mother.

This black thing that pierced me was getting to shift, I could see some sort of purple light resonating inside of it. The black thing became more clear to me and I could see that it was resembling a tree breach.

The purple light is injected into me along with some of the black shadows, I felt immense pain for a moment but did not scream.

However that pain was replaced by a feeling of power, I felt some sort of strength inside of me and soon enough, I was let go of my shackles. My mask returned to my face and I wasn't bleeding anymore, the hole in my chest also seemed like a dream but I knew it was real.

I saw that I was back at the hidden hallway and looked around again.

Blue: What was that......

I heard some commotion going on in the main area where the treasure are, I speed walked towards the noise and saw that Mars was here. He was in a giant mineral golem and was facing off against Asta who had a new sword with him.

It looked like the same one as the other one but was smaller, making it more easier for him to swing. Noelle was injured badly and Mimosa went to heal her. Meanwhile, Yuno, Luck and Klaus were trapped in mineral crystals.

I noticed that Mars had two types of magic, the minerals and some sort of flame magic.

Mars: The strong will survive and the weak will die

Mars sends some projectiles towards Asta but I intervene and destroy them, everyone looks towards me and they all were happy.

Asta: Blue you're here!

Blue: What happened while I was gone?

Asta: W-Well you see-

Blue: I was being rhetorical

Asta: O-Oh

Mars: You again.......where did you walk off to? I'm not done with you

Blue: I just had to do something really quick, why are you still up?

Mars: I.....I will not accept defeat to the likes of you. I will not stop until I have beaten you!

Blue: So be it

Mars controls the mineral golem to walk towards me, I was ready to use my shadows but then that same feeling I had that led me to the weird place came back again. I was shown some sort of visions and my mind and body knew what to do.

As Mars got closer, I pull my right hand back and then some sort of energy started to charge in my hand. It was similar to that purple light I saw in the shadow tree branch.

Mars saw it but was too late to react as this new spell was ready.

Blue: Shadow Magic: Curse of Erebus

I push my arm and hand forward and fire a purple energy blast at Mars.

The blast impacted with Mars and immediately took him out, his mineral golem was shattered into pieces and Mars was out cold. Purple electricity started to spark around my hand but died out after a few seconds.

Yuno T-That power! What was that?

Luck: Woah! I have never seem Blue do that ever, is that even Shadow Magic?

Klaus: I-Impossible! That one attack is more powerful than most Golden Dawn Members!

Asta: Blue what was that?!

Blue: I......I don't know

Mimosa: I-It was powerful!

Noelle: You have never done that before right?

Blue: No.....Asta, free the others

Asta: Right!

Asta goes to free Yuno, Klaus and Luck from their mineral prison while I go over to the girls.

Blue: Noelle, are you okay?

Noelle: I-I am, Mimosa healed me really good

Blue: Hmm, good job

Mimosa: T-T-Thank you Blue!

Suddenly the Dungeon was beginning to collapse so Yuno makes a wind cloud and we all jump on it.

Asta: Wait! We can't leave him behind!

Asta was referring to Mars who was still unconscious, I understand what Asta is trying to do, he doesn't want to kill people but instead save them. However he has to know the reality of this world.

Klaus: What?! We can't save him!

Blue: He is right Asta, he is still our enemy and we should prioritise ourselves

Asta: B-But!

Before Asta could object, our path to Mars was blocked by falling debris, Yuno immediately takes flight and heads for an exit. Myself, Luck and Klaus destroyed any falling debris before they could collide with us.

Soon enough we reached the surface as saw the sun setting, Yuno lands and everyone besides myself take a breather.

Luck: That was fun!

Asta: Yeah but I wish we could've saved that guy

Blue: He knew what he signed up for, if he dies, he dies.

Asta: But Blue! We could've saved him!

Blue: That is not our job, our job was to secure the Dungeon and its treasure room, keeping it away from the Diamond Kingdom and that is what we did. You need to worry about yourself instead of the opposition

Asta was silent and had nothing to say, I walk away and let the group say their goodbyes. I didn't want to say all that, it was pointless in my eyes.

But I'm still left wondering......what was all that back in the Dungeon?

I enter a secret hallway where my surroundings change and shadows similar to my own restraint me, I was then stabbed by a shadow branch yet there was no tree.

What was that purple light? Is it linked with that new spell I used?

It must be, somehow I knew how to do it.

Is this a good thing or a bad thing?

Who knows?

Why was my blood Black? Is that normal? Is that why I was hated by my father?

Can I really blame him? I'm not human.....I'm some sort of monster....
