Fragil: Langris, I managed to hold off Leo and Hamon. They ended up destroying the crystal but I see that you've destroyed theirs before, securing the victory.

Langris: I don't care....

Fragil: O-Oh, umm okay....where is Sekke? And why are you getting closer to your Brother like that?

Langris: Shut up, I'm going to end this worthless bastard's life!

Fragil: B-But you can't! He is your Brother! And we've won already!

Langris wanted to finish off Finral but Fragil pleaded for him to stop. She tried to get him to see reason, but this ended with Fragil getting backhanded in the face by Langris.

This knocked her to the ground, shocking everyone....and unlocking a great deal of murderous intent inside of me.

Asta: What the hell is thinking?! That's his own teammate

Rill: Fragil!

Velvet: What the?! That's it! Let me at him!

Nebra: Tch! That damn Langris!

Charlotte: What is he thinking?

Magna: The hell is wrong with him?!

Blue:......I'm going to kill him

Mimosa: W-What do you mean by that?

Langris: Disappear

As Langris prepares to finishes Finral off, myself, Magna, Luck, and Asta appear from the sky thanks to Charmy and stop Langris from ending the life of Finral. We had surrounded Langris, with myself and Asta in first of him, and Luck and Magna on the sides, magic and anti sword ready.

And my mask was off, because I wanted Langris to see the killer inside of me through my eyes.

Asta: Hey....

Magna: Just try and do something else

Luck: Forget the match. We'll kill you

Blue: We mean it. And if we can't kill you now, I'll make sure that it happens later

Velvet: Jump him!

Noelle: Finral! These wounds are awful....

Vanessa: Are you okay, Fragil?

Fragil: I-I'm okay, it was nothing really.

Vanessa: That's good to know. [Turns Towards Langris] How dare you do that to Finral!

Gauche: You bastard!

Grey: T-This is too awful!

Gordon: You've actually pissed me off

Charmy: I won't forgive you!

The other Black Bulls were a few feet away, minus Charmy who was still with the spectators, and some of them were ready to fight Langris for what he did.

Langris: Oh?

Asta: There's something wrong with you! The match was already over!

Before anything else can happen, Julius suddenly appears with Marx and Owen, who starts to heal Finral.

Blue: Julius, I-

Julius: I know what you want to do, Blue. But first, allow me to speak. [Turns To Langris], you know, I cannot trust a man who wouldn't go easy on his comrades, but I further cannot trust one who would kill his comrades.

Asta: Finral is a better Magic Knight than you, he said he would prove that the Black Bulls were better and they are!

Langris get angry at Asta and goes on about how Asta is full of himself for making it this far. Which is funny since that's what he has been doing.

Langris: Wizard King, I would like to make a request to fight against these foolish Blacl Bulls. Actually, I think I'll do that just now!

Langris suddenly attacks Asta with a spell, but he easily counters it, which Langris was upset about. I was going to intervene, but I knew that Julius was going to do something about this.

Marx: Julius-Sama, should we stop them?

Julius: There is no one to start or stop in battle, so they will continue.

Langris: Good. You know, I never liked you, brat, ever since we first met

Asta: Yeah! I feel the same with you!

Magna: Alright boys! Let's jump him!

Luck: I'm with you!

Velvet: Break his everything!

King Augustus the Useless yells at Asta and Langris for fighting without his permission, and Julius stops them both with a restraining spell.

Asta: W-What the? This is the Wizard King's magic!

Langris: Tch, I would've killed that brat if it weren't for the Wizard King

Julius: You two will be fighting in an official match, not like this. Blue, this is fine, right?

Blue: Of course

Julius: Okay. Asta, I understand you want to fight him now, which means we will have to postpone the other matches and go straight to Team B vs Team G. This was meant to be your next matches when the second round was over, but we can get it done with now

Julius calls for the magic knight known as Cob, so that he can grab Sekke, Fragil, and Zora to the battlefield. It was already decided that Zora would be included in the next match so he didn't have objections.

Julius: This is a match and what you need to do is win. No special rules here, just do what comes natural

As Julius releases the spell, Asta and Langris head out to meet up with their teammates. Naturally, I followed Asta to meet up with Zora.

Velvet: This is it, the match you wanted

Blue: Myself against that idiot

Velvet: I know it's an idiotic question, but are you ready?

Blue: Of course I am

Asta: Hey Zora, sorry for wanting to face off against Langris already

Zora: Hahaha! You really are a hot headed, impatient brat. Don't worry, I'll help

Langris: You two will not be needed since I can do it by myself. You'll just hold me back

Sekke: S-So should we just protect the crystal?

Langris: What the hell do you think?

Fragil: Don't worry, we'll protect it. I'm actually just going to let the other team destroy it.

Marx: Everyone is concerned about the behaviour of Langris, but it's a good thing he is like this. I talked with Julius-Sama about how there might be a traitor within the Magic Knights, and that we will use the exam as a way to flush out the traitor...and perhaps Langris is that traitor.

Mimosa: Oh, it seems that I'm left out this time

Nebra: I'm sure you don't mind. Your team is going to win, aren't they?

Mimosa: Of course, I have full trust in my team securing the win, because Blue will make sure they will win

Hamon: Are you sure? This is the Vice Captain of the Golden Dawn, and being in the same squad means we have seen what terrifying power he possesses

Mimosa: I know, but I've also been with Blue....and he is stronger

Nebra: I only went on one mission with him, and even I know how strong he is

Magna: I hope Blue breaks him down! All for Finral!

Noelle: I still couldn't believe Langris would resort to murder

Gauche: He doesn't know what being a true sibling is like

Nebra: What do you think, Captain Charlotte?

Charlotte: It's an interesting matchup, I remember my squad talking about fantasy fights they would want to see. And this one was talked about the most, the girls would debate to see who would win, and while there were good arguments for both Magic Knights, I had my own opinion

Sol: What's that?

Charlotte: Just watch and see

Currently I was with Asta and Zora, both who were ready to take down Langris. I saw that Langris had left his crystal with Fragil and Sekke, making his way to us. He begins his attack on both me and Asta but Asta uses his sword to nullify his Spatial attacks.

Langris: What now peasants?! You wanted this fight! You talked so big yet here you are! Cowarding under my magic!

I stayed calm, but took off my mask, handing over to Zora, he takes it but was left confused on why I gave it to him

Zora: The hell you given me this for?

Blue: I want you to hold it. I'm going to face Langris on my own, and then I want you two to deal with the other crystal.

Asta: Y-You sure?

Blue: I am

Zora: Heh, alright. Go kick his ass

The two were going to leave, but Langris uses his magic to box them next to me. I use my Shadows to force Langris back, which was successful and gave us breathing room.

Langris: You three stay right there, I want to finish you off, and your crystal in one go. But I want to make you suffer first.

Blue: Langris.....I want you to listen to me very carefully

Langris: What? Have you come to say that you're sorry?

Blue:....I'm going to hurt you...really badly

Langris: Hehehe....hahahahaha! You really mean it, don't you?!

Velvet: Of course! And he's going to give you nightmares for life!

Langris immediately attacks me with spatial attacks, and I put my shadows  up as defence. The spatial attacks naturally got rid of them, but I wasn't worried at all.

Langris, was not a threat to me at all.

I used my battle IQ to defend myself, my team and my crystal successfully from Langris' attacks. And he didn't seem mad at all.

Langris: This might be very uncharacteristic of me, but you're not that bad peasant. I can tell you have great strength! As expected from someone with a title like that, but that's where your limit begins to stop!

Charlotte: I know Blue is strong but will his strength be enough for Langris? He hasn't shown much so far

Gauche: You're really doubting him, aren't you?

Charlotte: Hmm?

Sol: Hey! What are you saying?!

Nebra: Sol, you know what he is trying to say. Blue is a smart fighter

Luck: Yeah! He is smarter than the whole team, maybe even more than Yami!

Vanessa: I doubt that, but he is up there

Charlotte: They are right, Sol. I must put my full belief in Blue, for he is someone I trust. And because Langris has shown signs of corruption

Sol: F-Fine I'll do the same, if you believe in him, Sis then I will as well....

Magna: Go you two! Beat his ass!

Luck: Yeah! Show him who's boss!

Gauche: Do it for Finral!

Vanessa: Fight well Blue! Asta!

Gordon: Make him pay for what he did to Finral....

Noelle: Don't disappoint me Blue! Bakasta!

Charmy: Yeah!

Grey: D-Don't embarrass yourselves out there! Go all o-out

Blue: Asta, you hear that?

Asta: Yeah! Everyone is hoping for us to win!

Blue: Which is why I leave the crystal destroying to you.

Asta: How will you beat him Blue?

Blue: By doing what comes natural

Asta and Zora leave, taking their crystal with them. Langris wanted to stop them but I intervene by using Umbra Manipulation to grab him by the ankle. He was surprised but felt pain when I flung him to the ground, away from Asta and Zora.

At the same time, I could feel a familiar presence arrive near the spectators. It was my mentor, Constance, and I wasn't surprised that she showed up today.

Constance: Hello Everyone!

Julius: Ah, Constance. How are you?

Constance: I'm good, Julius-Sama. Just thought I would pop in and see how the tournament is going

Julius: Interested in your apprentice?

Constance: Of course!

Blue: I'm not surprised

Velvet: Even if you're her former student now, she will always be there for you! But she isn't your number one supporter, someone else has that title

Blue: Yes, Noelle

Velvet: Hey!

Charlotte: It's been a while, Constance. I'm starting to think that you don't want to see us.

Constance: Don't worry, it isn't like that. I've just been busy acting like a scout, but now I have the time to go and see everyone by visiting you all here. So what's happened so far?

Nebra: We are in the second set of rounds, and Langris has lost his mind. He tried to kill his own Brother, but the Black Bulls intervened

Constance: Is that so? Now that's concerning, and I'm guessing Blue is going to deal with him

Noelle: He will, and he's going to win

Magna: Easily!

Constance: Of course, I trained him. So I know what he can do, and he has a lot to show.

Augustus: Is that Lady Constance?

Constance: Heya King.

Augustus: What brings you here?

Constance: Just watching my student in the tournament

Augustus: Oh, I see. A-Are you still considering marrying me-?

Constance: No

Augustus: Rejection!

Constance: It's unrelated, because it doesn't change things. But I know you dislike my student

Augustus: W-What? Is her student the Black Bull's Shadow?!

Sol: Look, Langris is up!

Langris had finally decided to emerge from the ground, and he didn't seem amused at all by my diversion.

Langris: Is that all you have for offense? Your defending skills are good, but if it attacks me and does all that, then you are just a pathetic tale in the end.

Blue: If you think that's all I can do, then your insight is a disappointment.

Velvet: Hah! You're not lying as well! He decided to judge you for an attack that wasn't meant to showcase your strength! So.....are you going to show the levels now?

Blue: Give me a moment. It's a shame really

Langris: What is?

Blue: I talked with Finral about how I can easily beat you, he didn't seem convinced, now I have the perfect opportunity to show him. But then you had to go and hurt him

Langris: Haha! What? Are you trying to say that you can hurt me?

Blue: Oh I can, and I'll hurt you ten times more that what you did to Finral

Langris: You know, you can stop the bluff, there is no need for it

Blue:.......Who said anything about a bluff?

So, this was meant to be a longer Chapter, and include the fight between Blue and Langris.

But we'll save that for the next Chapter.

And I think that's when the story will be on hold. Because we haven't started writing the next arc, which I haven't decided if we are going to write it in one go. (So no breaks).

Or in three different sections, where after each section, time will be taken off to focus on other stories and the writing of the next section.

I might go into detail about this when this Arc concludes.
