Kirsch: Are you the peasant known as Asta?

Asta: Yup!

Kirsch: [Stops Smiling] Don't talk to me as though we're friends, you swine

Asta: What the hell?! His eyes suddenly died!

Kirsch: I can't stand the sight of you. Neither your mannerisms nor behaviour are beautiful.

Asta: Agh!

Kirsch: Your existence is unsightly.

Asta: Gah!

Kirsch: Your clothes are filthy.

Asta: Eeeehh!

Kirsch: To top everything off, your muscles are ugly

Asta: AGGGH!

Blue:.......His words can't actually hurt....right?

Velvet: Hell No!

Asta: Wait a minute! I used to be weak, but not anymore! My muscles are my weapon!

Kirsch: I shall win with my beauty and show you, the small manaless boy and the Black Bull's Shadow, why your display will not match mine

Blue: Win so I can kick you in the face.

Kirsch: Is that a challenge, why don't you show me your face? So I can see how ugly you are

Blue:......There is no need, because after this tournament, you can look in the mirror to see how ugly you are after my team beats yours

Kirsch: Oh? You're already stapling your victory against us? Such delusion does not display beauty.

Mimosa: Hmm, actually Brother, please win your next match so Blue can break you physically and mentally

Kirsch: It will be the Black Bulls who will need therapy

Velvet: Kill him when you fight

Blue: There is no need, I'm going to break him mentally

Magna: Alright it's time for me to show my juniors what their senior can do!

Blue: Good luck Magna, don't disappoint me

Magna: I won't! I'll show you the improvements in this match and the next when we face off! I want you first!

Blue: That is fine. Sol, do well

Sol: Y-Yeah thanks, I will....

Asta: Let's go wait on the side! Good luck Magna!

The four of us return to the Stone platform where the others were, as the battle between Team C and D was about to commence.

Vanessa: Go on Magna!

Luck: Win so we can fight!

Gordon: You've got this

Gauche: He'll get through, especially with that team

Grey: T-That guy is very scary looking

Gauche: Scary? More like creepy

Charmy: Do you think he needs to eat?

Mimosa: No, he can't be fixed

Noelle: He was like this since the age of 5

Finral: Wait really?!

Nebra: Sadly, that is true

Velvet: If I was his Mother, I would've disowned him by now

Blue: Are you a Mother?

Velvet: N-No.....but I wouldn't mind being one, you know....when I find my significant other.

Blue: Do you have an idea on who that might be?

Velvet: [Blushes] U-Umm-!

Charlotte: So Blue, what are your thoughts?

Velvet: Phew...Thank you, Captain Charlotte

Blue: Team C will win. While they don't have the chemistry, as you can see from the arguments. But they should win, what do you think?

Charlotte: Well Blue, I of course think Team C will win. Not only do they have Sol who I have a lot of belief in, they do have the Vice Captain of the Coral Peacocks.

Blue: And Magna, he doesn't seem like it, but he can get the job done.

Yuno: Who is this guy?

Noelle: His name is Kirsch Vermillion

Klaus: Mimosa's Older Brother. And he is also the vice-captain of the Coral Peacocks.

Yuno:......Are all vice captains annoying?

Blue: No, not all of them

The battle begins with Magna taking the first move, he launches an attack before rushing forward but is confronted by a spell. Magna attacks the spell, and Kirsch shows up.

Kirsch: You should overwhelm our opponents with both your long and close ranges spell.

Magna: Huh? Yeah I guess I can do that

Sol decides to charge towards Team D's crystal on top of her spell, but is trapped by one of Team D's spells. Kirsch also shows up and advises Sol on how she should split up her golem into 5 to distract the enemy.

Kirsch: I shall guard the crystal! Therefore, it shall remain beautiful and unharmed! Bloom as gloriously as you wish!

Then, a member of Team D attacks their crystal from the water. To his surprise, Kirsch blocks the attack and uses a spell to cover the entire battlefield.

Kirsch: You're already captives of my beautiful magic. Cherry Blossom Magic: Magic Cherry Blossom Storm of Petals. Plus my beautiful Illusion!

Klaus: That whole area's covered in a storm of petals!

Blue: Hmmm....not bad

Velvet: Is it useful?

Blue: It is, tactically.

Team D Member: C-Crap! I can't see where our enemies are!

Kirsch also creates a path to Team D's crystal for Sol and Magna, and the two act quickly by launching some spells. They destroy the crystal, and Team C is declared the winners while Team C strike a pose.

Blue: Magna I have lost respect for you.

Julius: It's so pretty!

Kirsch: In this world, sin is being unsightly and-

Magna&Sol: Failing to notice beauty!

Magna: We somehow got pulled into his bullshit!

Sol: It pisses me off, but it feels so good!

Asta: He's fast! And unbelievable strong! And creepy....how are we going to beat them in the next battle?

Blue: Did you forget, who I am?

Asta: N-No I didn't! You will absolutely demolish that team!

Blue: No, Kirsch is the one that I want to break. Sol and Magna are people I want to face, but only to test them

Asta: Test?

Blue: Magna's in our team, and Sol is someone that I would say has high potential

Asta: Ah, okay.

Kirsch: Ah, the greatest sin of all is my beauty

They won, as expected, and this means we will have to fight them when our next fight happens. And I'll be available for that, meaning we will win.

Velvet: Is that arrogance I hear?

Blue: What do you think?

Velvet: I'm bias so I think you will go through, but I also don't believe you are arrogant, no matter how badly it sounds like you are.

Kirsch: Everyone, tell me what your thoughts were of my beautiful fighting method?

Sol and Magna hide their faces, and the crowd do not answer him. Klaus then starts to explain the spell that Kirsch had used and that only with someone with a monstrous amount of mana like Kirsch can use.

Blue: So he isn't all talk, oh well...the next set of rounds will be his last.

Charlotte: Will you be participating against Team C when that happens?

Blue: Yes I will, and I'll make sure we will win

Nebra: The scary thing is, you probably will

Asta: Hey! Don't count me out!

Nebra: Oh I'm sure you will have your contributions as well, Asta. But I have a feeling that Blue will steal the show

Noelle: It would definitely be a message towards nobles

Asta: I'll help send that message!

Blue: Then be focused when the time comes

Asta: I will!

Blue: Hmmm, by the way, is that Captain Rill of the Azure Deer?

Charlotte: Yes that is him, he is apart of one of the teams, Team I

Blue: I didn't know that, I thought Captains didn't need to participate?

Charlotte: [Chuckles] Apparently he didn't know

Blue: I'm not surprised. Also, is that one of the few times you've laughed?

Charlotte: Y...Yes, I'm not one to laugh. But your cluelessness is amusing

Blue: Hmmm....you should laugh more

Charlotte: [Blushes] R-Really?

Blue: Yes, it may seem uncharacteristic from me, but laughing is good for you

Charlotte: Okay, if it sounds nice then I'll try to do it more often. But you should do it for once, I don't think I've heard you laugh at all

Blue: There is a reason for that.

I can't laugh......

Blue: What Captains are going to be apart of the Royal Knights?

Charlotte: Captain Mereoleona, Nozel and Rill

Blue: That's a good lineup.

It was time for the next fight, Team E which consisted of Finral, Leopold and Hamon. And Team F which had....people I don't know. Both Hamon and Leopold suggested that their magic should be the catalyst of the fight.

Hamon: Seeing Kirsch fight has lit a fire within me Let us also settle this beautifully.

Leopold: Who cares about beauty? If you've been lit aflame, I'll use my flames to light an even greater flame! Also, Kirsch is gross.

Finral: Actually, could you leave our attack strategy to me? Spatial magic gives you incredible mobility. There's no reason not to use it, right?

Leopold: Hahaha! I like it! Let's see you bring out the best in us then!

The three fist bump, and were set on getting the win. As Team E battles against Team F, Finral helps Leopold get the jump on Team F, taking out two of them with a  friendly fire tactic.

Hamon uses one of Finral's portals to appear behind Team F's crystal and launch a spell to attack it.

Hamon: He knows where our magic works best and takes us to the perfect point on the battlefield! To think that the Black Bulls had someone this good! Why did he stay hidden for this long?

Leopold appears above Team F's crystal through Finral's portal, he uses a spell to destroy Team F's crystal and the officials announce that Team E are the winners.

And Finral was the key factor in this with his spatial magic.

Finral: Yes!

Hamon: Come now! We should have a meal after a battle!

Leopold: Indeed! Let's see who can eat the most! Bring it on!

Finral: I'm definitely not in the mood for that right now!

The crowd begins to talk about how it will be hard to deal with Finral's ability. I could also hear them talk about how all the members from the Black Bulls are amazing this year even through they are all low class mages.

Velvet: But just because you're a low class mage, doesn't mean you're weak

Blue: Exactly, Dragon Ball has taught me that hard work beats talent

Velvet:.....What's Dragon Ball?

Blue: Rest in Peace, Toriyama.

I look over at Langris, he was also listening in on the crowd and after hearing what the crowd had said, he remains silent. Team E arrives with everyone else, and Magna drags Finral over here.

Magna: Well done, Finral! You finally showed you aren't useless!

Finral: T-Thanks Magna

Vanessa: And we really mean it, you were the reason your team advanced!

Noelle: Good Job, Finral

Luck: Yeah! You did good!

Gordon: Congratulations on the win

Charmy: We should celebrate after!

Grey: Y-Yes, I agree

Asta: You're amazing, Finral!

Finral: He-Hey Blue? How was that performance?

Blue:.....It was good

Finral: T-Thank you

Blue: But you know what the next match is, right?

Finral: Yes....Langris' team

Blue: And he will win, meaning you will take him on next

Finral: I know, but I will show him that I'm not the same person

Blue: I know you will, because you have more to show....don't you?

Finral: Y-Yes, how did you know?

Blue: I can just tell. Now, let's watch your idiotic brother flex his overrated power.

It was Team G's turn, which was Langris, Sekke and some girl I've never seen before.

Actually....I do know her.

Velvet: You do?

Blue: Yes her name is Fragil Tormenta. We had two encounters already.

Speaking of Fragil, she noticed me and walked over to me, much to the confusion of the others.

Fragil: Umm, Mr Blue?

Blue: It's just Blue

Fragil: Sorry, Blue. It's nice to see you for a third time

Blue: I'm not one to socialise, what brings you to the Royal Knights Exam?

Fragil: I knew you were going to be here, so I signed up to thank you

Blue: I saved your life one time, you don't need to thank me

Fragil: Yes, but it was our first meeting. And I wouldn't be here if it weren't for you

Blue: I know, but is that the only reason why you wanted to come here?

Fragil: N-No, I believed that I should test myself.

Blue: Good, but you were unlucky with the teams

Fragil: Why?

Blue: You have two of the worst teammates

Fragil: But Langris is-

Blue: In personality

Fragil: Oh....I see

Velvet: Even she knows! Hah!

Blue: Everyone can see how much of a fool Langris is.

Vanessa: So, Blue. Where have you met this cutie before?

Fragil: Hello, my name is Fragil Tormenta

Blue: First time was when she was attacked by multiple Diamond Kingdom idiots. I saved her life and she felt indebted to me, I told her no

Fragil: It....took me a while to realise that

Magna: Haha, yeah Blue doesn't really like it when people are indebted to him like that. He doesn't care!

Noelle: What about the second time?

Blue: Just a random meetup

Fragil: I accidentally bumped into him, and he didn't remember me. But I did, and I explained the situation of the first meeting.

Blue: She wanted to talk and I decided to amuse her

Vanessa: Oh, so you were being soft

Blue: I wasn't being soft

Velvet: You were definitely showing softness there

Fragil: Anyways, it was nice seeing you again. It's my turn to compete

Blue: Do well, even if Langris will end it in seconds

Fragil: I'll try

Fragil joins her team on the field, and surprisingly Sekke starts to freak out. I thought he would be confident with his magic, but it seems he isn't as delusional as I thought.

Velvet: Maybe he is scared because of the others. I mean he has seen a decent amount of Magic Knights now

Blue: It might be that, but he should calm down. He has Langris on his team, the only time he should panic is when I'm his opponent.

Fragil notices Sekke and asks if he is okay, which got him to start acting cool, but he isn't fooling anybody.

Sekke: I don't like standing out, but I guess I have no choice. First off, why don't I go rampaging in on my Sekke Shooting Star?

Blue: That thing is ugly

Fragil: Um...

Langris: That sounds like a great plan

Blue: He has an idea already.....

On Team H's side, a member of Team H finishes putting a barrier around their crystal before noticing both Sekke and Langris coming towards them.

H Member 1: They're charging straight at us? What the hell is that lame vehicle?

H Member 2: You fools!

H Member 3: Now you can fall for the trap spells we set in the Earth!

After getting close enough, Langris lifts his arm up and uses his Spatial Magic to destroy Team H's crystal....

Asta: Woah.....

Yuno: I'm not surprised he ended it like that

Noelle: He shaved the space away....

Nebra: That is some scary magic

Blue: Hmm.....

Annoucer: Th-The Crystal's been destroyed. G Team wins!

Velvet: Aww! I wanted to see Fragil shine!

Unsurprisingly, the crowd were shocked at what Langris had done, Kirsch comments about how beautiful is was and Asta was conflicted. Knowing him, he probably wondered if his sword can cut through that magic.

It probably can.

Langris smirks and leaves the battlefield, he heads up to spectator platform and walks over to Finral.

Langris: Did you see that? Brother? That's how you use spatial magic. Yours is just a delivery service.....so stay like that. Oh right, in our match, try to not get caught in my magic, otherwise your body would be taken away, and that would make our parents....and her....sad.

Finral:....That will not happen...

Langris: Hmm?

Finral: Because I....I will defeat you, Langris.

Langris: You know, Finral. You're acting all high and mighty for a big brother....

As Team F are eating, Charmy suddenly appears asking Hamon for some food which he gladly gives her some. Then it was time for the next match, where one Magic Knight known as X....had attention poured onto them.

This....was actually Captain Rill of the Azure Deer. But not too many people, as everyone who didn't, began to wander who X is as even their teammates do not know who they are.

Someone reveals that they are X and then further reveals themselves as Rill Bowamoltie, the Captain of the Azure Deer as I had mentioned before.

Asta: Captain Rill?!

Fragil: C-Captain?!

Noelle: But why?

As everyone wonders why a captain is participating in the exam, Julius went to explain why Rill was here.

Julius: The rules state that a captain can participate in the exam. It also means that this is everyone's chance to defeat a captain, and make a name for themselves.

Rill: But, I don't intend to be beaten since I am here to raise the reputation of the Azure Deer!

???: What enthusiasm! I am deeply moved, Young Master Rill

Suddenly, a butler shows up and stands behind Rill. It must be his.

???: Ladies and Gentleman. I ask you to take good care of Master Rill, today.

Rill: Haha, you're always so dramatic. Oh, Asta! Blue! I look forward to today!

Asta: Yeah! Let's both do our best!

Klaus: B-But he's a captain!

Mimosa: Are you three friends?

The old man gives me and Asta a death glare, which I wasn't affected by unlike my teammate. The man....majestically approaches us, and Mimosa hid behind me, somewhat afraid by the man's movements.

He then offers a cup of tea to Asta and myself, further confusing everyone.

Walter: You two must be Master Rill's trustworthy friends, Master Asta and Master Blue. I've heard all about both of you, thank you for being good friends with Master Rill. I am Walter, Master Rill's butler.

Velvet: This is a very strange man.....

Walter: Please, do have some tea

Asta: T-Thank you very much

Blue: Hmm

We have a sip of the tea, and we were both left surprised at the taste. Asta didn't understand it while I found myself enjoying it.

Blue: This is nice, thank you....Walter

Walter: It is my pleasure, Master Blue

Velvet: Oh! I want to try some!

It was now time for Team I vs Team K, and I watched this intently. I wanted to see what the youngest Squad Captain can do, because I've only see glimpses of his power.

Team J is worried about what Rill is capable of but are surprised when Rill falls into one of their traps. I wasn't, and one of Team J's member was on the same wave length.

He warns the others to not let their guard down, then he uses a spell to increase his teammates power. As two of Team J's members launch spells at Rill, he notices the spells and smiles, an idea forming into his head.

Rill then uses a spell to counter his opponent's spells, Walter smiles, knowing about Rill better than any of us. I know that paint magic is what he uses, and already you can see how diverse it is and will be in future fights.

The participants are amazed by this, with only myself showing no reaction. After all, Rill is still a captain, and he has that for a reason.

Walter: Well done, Master Rill, your creativity is infinite.

Blue: Infinite you say?

Walter: Yes, Master Rill has always been indulged into the world of Art. And that's why his magic compliments him more.

Blue: He's like me.....

Walter: Like you?

Blue: I can see the similarity
