Fana: What....are you trying to show me?

Blue: I'm trying to show you that I'm not human but your hate towards humans is a mystery to me. So I want to know why you and the Midnight Sun hates humans. Are you not human?

I looked at Fana and waited for a response, she was hesitating to talk but it seems why I said had triggered her.

Fana: You....know nothing about us!

Noelle: Um Blue? Maybe you should get back

Blue: Oh great

Velvet: Maybe talking to her isn't the best thing

Blue: I tried something different for once and this is where it leads me

Velvet: Don't worry, you can do better next time

Blue: Sure......like that will happen

Fana: You do not know their pain...or mine!

Fana goes to blast me again but I jump back and defend against the other blasts with my shadows. I go back to the others who were ready for the fight.

Noelle: So what was your plan?

Blue: I thought maybe we could talk it out and not fight, yes it isn't like me to do it but trying something different but work

Nebra: Well clearly that didn't work but you get points for trying

Vanessa: I agree, it shows the character development like in a story

Asta: It looks like we have to fight anyways!

Blue: Yeah.....

Finral: I wish she just listened, I don't think I can take this anymore

Fana sent a fire ball at us but I blocke it with my shadows, her flames were slowly breaching them but I didn't panic. Instead I morph the shadows into a warrior's shield and push it towards her, that gave time for Vanessa to use her strings to manoeuvre Asta towards her but it turned to be useless when Fana forced him back.

Asta: Man it's hot! Those flames are no joke!

Blue: Yeah.....

My hands were controlling the shadow shield but then I use my right hand to create a shadow spear that I threw at Salamander. It does little damage because of it's size but it did stop it from attacking, this allowed Noelle to attack.

Noelle: Water Magic: Sea Dragon's Roar!

Noelle attacks Salamander with her attack despite it not doing much, Nebra followed it up with her mist magic that was used to block Fana and Salamander's vision. I ended our combination with the Curse of Erebus which deals a decent amount of damage and downs Salamander.

This shocked Fana as she had a look of panic at what happened while the other were celebrating.

Fana: W-What?!

Blue: I'm not done yet

I use my shadows to create chains from the ground that shoot upwards and stab Salamander before dragging it down to the ground along with Fana who lost her footing. The chains then grew spikes that stabbed Salamander and killed it, I use my shadows to take Fana out of there so she doesn't get hurt.

I....don't know why I did that.

Velvet: Aww, you're being a nice person

I don't know if I like it.

Velvet: You will get used to it

I set her down on her feet and she was confused so I walked over.

Vanessa: Be careful Blue

Blue: I will.

My shadows disperse and she turns her attention to me, I look at her and for some reason her face was red.

Blue: Are you okay?

She didn't say anything but then a third eye on her forehead appeared, my eyes slightly widened and her aura was about to blast me so I jump back and luckily managed to escape the blast radius.

I saw that Fana had recovered on her feet and was surrounded in intense flames that were more fiery than before, this could actually prove to be a problem, just like with Vetto.

Velvet: Do you want to use your transformation?

No, not yet. If I do need it then I'll do it.

Vanessa: Oh no! This is like last time!

Noelle: So she is going to blow up?!

Asta: W-We can't let her do this!

Blue: Yeah she is wasting her life for no reason and will take ours if we let her do this.

Asta: Yeah! But those flames are really insane! I don't know how we can get through...

Blue: I'll go in

Noelle: W-What? But it's dangerous!

Blue: If I don't, who will?

Fana: You....all of you stay away from me!

Finral: What should we do? We don't have Yami and he was the one to stop it last time!

Blue: Calm down, I may have a way to walk through the flames

Vanessa: Are you sure?

Blue: Yeah although I don't know if I will be able to keep my sanity

Nebra: W-What does that mean?

Blue: You don't want to know

Velvet: So what's this master plan of yours?

Blue: I'm going to use that new Demon transformation that Erebus gave me, if I'm not mistaken, the shadows that it uses will protect me.

Velvet: Good idea, but you risk yourself losing control and attacking everyone

Blue: Yeah.........

I was ready to transform but then I sensed someone approaching from behind so I looked there and saw that Fanzell was flying towards us sing his wind magic. Mars was also with him which was really surprising, I thought he was the enemy.

Fanzell: Blue! Attack the one behind me!

Blue: What? You mean Mars?

Mars: No! The one behind us!

I was confused but then I saw a diamond soldier behind them, he looked different so he must be a Diamond General, especially when he had a decent mana level. I understood why Fanzell wanted me to get rid of this person so I used my shadows to restrain this mysterious person.

???: Eh? What's this?

Fanzell: Sorry Ladros but I need you out of here

I create a giant shadow spear and throw it at this Ladros guy, Fanzell and Mars went around it as it flew in the air and pierced Ladros and crashed into the other side of the forest.

Fanzell and Mars land on the ground and Asta was immediately on the defensive because of Mars, not that I blame him!

Asta: It's you! That guy who wouldn't stop taking about how he hates the weak!

Fanzell: Wait Asta! Mars was brainwashed but he is all good now!

Mars: It is true, I am not like I was back then, this time I will use my magic to help people, I also want to apologise for what I did back at the Dungeon

Blue: That's fine, we've moved past it

Mars: Wait you're forgiving me already?

Asta: Yeah!

Blue: I might as well, otherwise I would've had to kill you

Mars: I-I see, umm well thank you

We felt the heat coming from Fana and saw that her aura was building up even more, meaning that we didn't have much time. I heard Mars gasp and looked at him, does he know her perhaps? They do have similar magic.

Mars: Fana!

Fana: Hmm?

Mars: Fana its me! Mars! Y-You recognise me right?!

Fana: I...don't know you! Stay away!

She sent a fireball at him that he wasn't going to block so I grab him with my shadows and pull him out of the way before slapping him in the face.

Blue: What are you doing? Don't lose your head just because it's your.....I want to say sister

Mars: S-She was my childhood friend, so I guess you are right to say sister.

Blue: From the experiment days right?

Mars: Y-Yes! How did you know?

Blue: I heard about it one day during one of my missions and when I first met Fanzell, I asked him about it. Now listen, I have a plan, we need to get close and use Asta's sword on her

Asta: It will stop her brainwashing thing right?

Blue: Yeah, it should do

Vanessa: Alright boys hurry up, I don't know how long we have

Fanzell: Not long

Nebra: Can they do it?

Noelle: I think they can

Mars: Alright I understand!

We went to push through but it proved really difficult, I had to cover myself with my shadows while Mars used his mineral magic on himself and Asta.

Asta: You okay Blue?

Blue: I'm fine

To save time, I create a shadow shield and go forward, adding another layer of protection for the three of us. We walked closer and could see that the flames surrounding Fana were rising even higher.

Blue: Asta, now

Asta: Stop blowing yourself up!

He taps Fana on the head with his sword and she releases a scream of pain as the flames along with her third eye disappear.

She was going to fall to the ground but I unintentionally caught her before she did, I set her down slowly on the ground before she woke up after a few seconds.

She sees me beside her and I just look at her with my blank stare.

Blue: Are you going to continue to fight? Or do you know who you really are?

Fana: Y-You....I....remember you!

Blue: It seems you do, that wasn't you back then was it? It was another you right?

Fana: Y-Yes how did you know?

Blue: I know a thing or two about being not who I really am

Fana: What do you mean by that?

Blue: Don't worry....why is your face red? Is the blood rushing to your face

Fana: N-No! It's just....really hot out here

Blue: Hmm

I offer my hand to her and she hesitates for a moment before taking it, I help her stand up and she nods her head at me before she was engulfed in a hug by Mars.

Mars: Fana! I-I thought I-!

Fana: It's okay Mars, I'm here and this means we can see the world together.

She goes to thank everyone else and I walk over to the others.

Vanessa: Well done Blue, I never thought I would see the day where you would save the enemy

Blue: I know....it's weird but....

Noelle: But?

Blue: It felt nice to save her.....

Vanessa: Oh? Is Blue falling in love again?

Finral: I don't think Blue even fell in love in the first place, he just rolled with it.

Nebra: Yes, and I don't think he is in love with the....enemy. She can be trusted right?

Fanzell: So far

Noelle: If other girls like Blue, what do I do,

Vanessa: Good question, if that does happen then I'll help

Noelle: Thank you Vanessa.

For some reason I had a bad feeling despite us winning, I didn't know what it was so I looked around and saw nothing but the happy and relieved faces of everyone.

Mariella and Domina weren't here so they must be out there helping the other witches. I was going to look for them until I looked in the sky, my eyes widened as I was quick to alarm the others.

Velvet: Blue watch out!

Blue: Everyone get down!

In the sky was millions of blue energy beams that held a lot of power in them, they were quick and they rained down on us. Only I was quick enough to protect myself with my shadows but it proved to be useless as they were pierced.

I was surprised and the next thing I could see was darkness.
