Dammit, Julius pulled the quick one on me....I should've expected this. He should know by now that this wasn't going to work out at all.

Julius: I hope you all don't mind me inviting some guests, now let's get started.

Asta: T-There are so many magic knights here!

Noelle: Oh no

Blue: Your family?

Noelle: Y-Yes

The awarding ceremony  begins as Julius calls the first Knight, Leopold Vermillion the Crimson Lion member is promoted to a 2nd class Intermediate Magic Knight for his achievement of collecting 7 stars of excellence.

Leopold: Thank you Wizard King, I'll work hard to improve myself

Subsequently, Sol Marron of the Blue Roses Squad is promoted to a 3rd class Intermediate Magic Knight for collecting 6 stars.

Sol: Thank you Wizard King and I'll try to go easy on some men.

Julius then honors the Silver Eagles, Nebra Silva and Solid Silva, whom he promotes to a 5th class Senior Magic Knight and a 3rd class Intermediate Magic Knight respectively.

Finally, the Wizard King calls the Knights of the Golden Dawn who are promoted to a 4th class Senior Magic Knight, a 1st class Intermediate Magic Knight, and a 2nd class Intermediate Magic Knight respectively.

Julius: Congratulations everyone, to celebrate, I'm inviting all of you, including their captains, to a celebratory banquet which I had prepared.

Dammit Julius....I just want to go now.

Julius: Also please get acquainted with the Young Knights who I brought to this ceremony, be nice and give them helpful tips.

The Wizard King's action prompts the honorary Knights to give unpleasant stares towards us, I stare at them back which frightened most of them  The scrutiny continues at the banquet after Julius left the hall for another matter.

Klaus: I respect the Wizard King but I think he made the wrong decision on bringing us to the event.

Blue: Mmmm

In the meanwhile, Asta begins to indulge himself on the dishes as he ignores the unpleasant atmosphere in the hall. While Klaus gives his remarks for Asta's uncaring nature.

Mimosa: U-Umm Blue?

Blue: What?

Mimosa: D-Do you maybe want to talk about something?

Blue:.....No

Mimosa: O-Oh okay, if you ever get bored then I'm here to talk

Alecdora: I can't believe that the Wizard King invitied some useless magic knights

Leopold adds a condescending remark about the former's squad and the conflict between them forces Klaus to defend his friends, but Alecdora severely criticizes him and Mimosa for their disappointing performance during the dungeon exploration mission.

Klaus: I-I'm sorry

This begins to annoy Asta while Yuno remains silent and honestly.....I didn't like their comments as well.

Solid: Come on everyone, we all know who the real faliure is.

Solid approaches Noelle with a glass of water, I knew what he was planning to do so I did something I never thought I was going to do.

I use my shadows to break the glass before he could even think about tipping it over, the shards of glass scraped his hand slightly as he recoiled in pain.

Solid: Agh!

Nebra: Solid?

Noelle: B-Blue?

Solid: Who was that?!

Asta: Wow Blue that was quick of you!

Alecdora: The Black Bull's Shadow?

Solid: So it was you!

Blue: Perhaps

It was at this point that all of the attention was on me......great Blue, why did you have to do that?

Noelle: Blue.....defended me?

Fuegoleon: So it was him? That was great precision from this "Blue"

Nebra: Oh you think that just because you wear that mask means you can act like this towards Nobles?

Solid: Let's see what you really look like behind it peasant!

Nozel: Solid No!

Solid reaches his hand towards my mask, he expected to remove it easily but what he really got was my shadows forming into a fist and punching him straight in his stomach. I didn't stop there as I drive Solid into a wall, implanting him into it for a moment.

Nebra: Solid!

Charlotte: That was fast! Just who are you? Black Bull's Shadow?

Sol: Augh, men always wanting to cause conflicts, ain't that right sis?

Charlotte: Yes but that boy is very mysterious

Sol: Who? Masky? Yeah I guess you're right, he is somewhat different but he is still a man.....boy.

Charlotte: He is still a boy

Sol: Riiiight

Leopold: Haha! Now that's what I'm talking about!

Asta: Holy Hell! Did you really have to do that Blue?

Yuno: He did

Blue: He deserves it....no one....removes my mask but myself

Alecdora: Who do you think you are?! Black Bull's Shadow!

Some of the Golden Dawn members were ready to fight me but then Asta came to my side with his swords.

Asta: Hey! If you try to mess with him then you will have to mess with me as well! I will become the Future Wizard King and I will not allow this behaviour to ever happen!

Alecdora: Hmm, what a foolish dream. That place is reserved for Captain Vangeance!

Alecdora tries to trap Asta in sand but Asta destroys it with his anti magic swords, he was shocked and tried to think of something else but I use his own shadow to trip him up.

I felt someone try to attack me and looked to see Nebra Silva with her grimoire ready. She flinched when she noticed that I was looking at her.

Blue: Tell me Nebra Silva....do you really want to do that?

Nebra shook her head slowly and so I look away from her, Solid gets up and he and the other Golden Dawn members were about to try something. In the blink of an eye, pointed shadows were near their necks.

They were shocked by my speed and didn't try anything, then I felt an immense pressure so I pulled my shadows back. This magic pressure was coming from Nozel who decided to demonstrate his power by unleashing his aura.

Nozel: That's enough, Black Bull's Shadow

Blue: Maybe tell your useless brother to keep his hands to himself and I might stop. You even warned him yourself....you remember that say don't you?

Nozel: I do

Charlotte: Day? What day is he talking about?

Noelle: Wait did Blue and Nozel meet before?

Fuegoleon was going to intervene but didn't move when Nozel stopped his aura. Before any words could be said, a mage bursts in with panic in his voice.

Mage: The Royal Capital! It's under attack!

Asta: What?!

Fuegoleon: Under attack?

Nozel: From who?

Mage: I-I don't know, they're some sort of creatures!

Charlotte: We need to diverse a plan now

Fuegoleon: Agreed

Blue: You go and do that, I don't have time for plans

Klaus: Blue, it's important to plan!

Fuegoleon: Yes! Black Bull's Shad-

Blue: Can you stop calling me that? I have a name, it's Blue Light

I look away from the Magic Knights and walked off, then Asta and Leopold both joined me when I left the building.

Asta: I agree with you Blue! We need to act now!

Leopold: Don't leave me behind you two! I will declare you both my rivals!

Asta: Ehh?!

Leopold: How do you feel about this honour?

Blue: I don't care

Leopold: Agh!

Blue: Split up and go to different areas, I'll be going to the East District

Asta: Yes sir!

We split up and I was at the East District, some buildings were on fire and civilians were running away. This attack seems like an invasion or perhaps a distraction, it was then that I realised who I was going up against.

Blue: Undead corpses? This is definitely someone's magic

These corpses spotted me and came closer to me, I looked around and saw that the fires from this attack has created many shadows around the area.

I look back at the corpses who were still determined to get me, however their fates were sealed.

Blue: Shadow Magic: Dusk Manufacture.

I control the shadows and shaped them into spears that immediately impaled these hellish creatures, killing them instantly. I walk around and kill more of these undead, I look around and saw that the other Magic Knights had decided to come and help.

Charlotte: It's you.....

Blue: Don't get distracted by me and focus

Charlotte: I think I know, Black Bull's Shadow

Sol: Yeah! My sis is the best

Blue: Did you not hear me before? Do not call me that

Charlotte: Is that not who you are?

Blue: I never came up with that, people just called me that. I have a name that almost no one uses

Charlotte: I see

Another horde of undead corpses approached the three of us, Charlotte was ready to attack but I walked forward.

Charlotte: Wait, there are a lot of them. Do you not need help?

Blue:.......No

To demonstrate what I mean, I used shadows to stop the horde in place. Then I create a giant shadow bow that was in the air, it shoots three arrows at the horde, killing some of them.

Then the arrows shift and spikes extract from them, stabbing the remaining undead.

Charlotte: T-This power, he isn't no ordinary Magic Knight. He is already Vice Captain level yet he isn't the Vice Captain of his squad.....Blue Light, who exactly are you?

Sol: W-What the hell? He can't be stronger than me? There is no way he is stronger than me!

Blue: Can you see why I didn't ask for help? It's not because I don't need it.....it's because I don't trust anyone....that includes you...Charlotte Roselei.
