Chapter 49

Marc's POV

We all stood at the base of the stairs letting Gabe put the final touches on our outfits. The man was amazing, that's for sure. I mean I can understand him having gone all out for his husbands, but to have done the same for my family was just beyond measure. Now, that being said, we did look really damn good. He had us all dressed like pirates complete with frilly shirts, gaudy earrings, clanging swords, and high boots. "Stop messing with your shirt," Gabe snapped at Silas.

He grabbed Gabe and kissed him, then when Gabe stepped back, slightly dazed, he ripped the sleeves from his shirt and adjusted his head rag. "Sorry love, Greeks don't do frilly," he teased. His husband just muttered and blushed.

"Ahem," a soft voice said from the top of the steps. We all turned to see the most breathtaking siren waiting for us. Gabe had outdone himself. She looked like something out of Greek mythology standing there. Her hair looked like it was floating on the water, and Gabe had even done some scale makeup on her exposed skin that blended in with the actual costume. The dress clung to her body in just the right way but wasn't too revealing and had a mesh panel that dipped low over her breasts in the same color as the makeup scales. When she began to come down the stairs was when I realized the gown was a series of panels that were attached to ballet tights to allow for movement but looked like a tight tail when she stood still. On her feet were actual pointe shoes. She stopped in front of Gabriel and kissed his cheek, "You are amazingly talented Gabriel and I love you."

His face slacked with shock at her words, then he quickly recovered and swept her back in a deep kiss as she gasped. He whispered in her ear and then spun her around as she went on pointe for a moment. The gown spiraled around her and she giggled when she stopped in a ballerina pose. "I did good," he grinned. "Now, you lot need to come stand in front of the house so we can have fucking family pictures taken before we leave."

I nudged Victor, "Does he mean us too? I mean, we're not your family."

Victor laughed, "You are now, Marc." He grabbed my hand and tugged me along and I felt a warmth spread across my chest. I glanced over and saw Brandon's eyes catch mine. He smiled and followed us.

The cold air bit into us as Gabe quickly placed us in front of the house and then yelled for the curtain to drop. Instantly, we all gaped. He'd turned the entire house into a fucking ship complete with the tentacles of a giant mechanical Kraken wiggling out of several windows on the top floor. A series of exclamations and compliments went between all of us. "Thank you," Gabe said, "Now take your positions around our fucking siren and reason for living boys. Let your love for her show in the photos." It was a riot taking pictures. We started out serious, all surrounding her then moved on to staged photos along the ship props and house. When we finally finished, we bundled up and got in the limos to head to her offices. Gabe sat with Marissa touching up her makeup.

"So how do you want all of us to handle tonight, precious?" I asked.

"I'm not really sure. I have no interest in hiding our relationship, but what would be best in regard to Jackson and Chloe? I mean they already know about Sean obviously." She fidgeted with the beads on her clutch.

"I think we just maintain a reserved front for tonight," Owen said. "We know there will be media, so there's no way to avoid exposure, however, we don't need to add to the hype. Unless you object, Marissa, I say we limit to casual contact, dancing, and the like."

She gave him a coy smile, "So sneaking off in the supply closet is off the list?"

His eyes darkened, "Mia bella regina if that is your wish, any or all of us would be more than willing, however, you may not want to start a row at the office just yet." She giggled in response and nodded.

As we approached the office, we saw limos and cars lined up. The press was already there snapping pictures. She looked at Gabe and gave a forced smile, "It's okay, spitfire. I took the liberty of limiting press passes to those who have been more fucking discreet in the past. This helps us control the story at least a bit." He pressed a kiss to her lips, "Stay in the middle of our group until we reach the inside. The only direct fucking shot they will get is when you exit the limo. You'll be led and followed by North and Silas to create a physical barrier as well." He turned to us "I'm trusting your family to bring up the rear. While we aren't hiding you all, your presence wasn't fucking expected and could cause an additional stir. We also don't know if the creepy fuckers know you or of you from the Academy days."

We all nodded. His plan was well laid out, now let's just hope it goes smoothly. The limo stopped at the curb and Owen got out first. The flashes of the cameras were blinding. I guess I'd never realized just how famous the Blackbourne group had gotten, and then add in Marissa's family name, well I guess tonight was our introduction to what life would be like with all of them.

When we finally made it inside, the place looked amazing. Gabe had carried over the pirate theme to her office as well. Sheets of gauzy bunting and lights draped from the ceilings and music played in the background. "I've had the elevators locked down to keep your guests here on the main level with the conference rooms only," he told her. "We had extra security brought in as well as catered chefs for tonight to provide more than just Luke's treats."

Her eyes were watery as she hugged him, "Gabriel, you didn't have to do all of this, but thank you so much."

He grinned and kissed her forehead, "Spitfire, that look is all the thanks I needed, and you are worth every minute of this." He held his hand out to her, "Shall we let you address your guests, love?" She gave us all a beautiful smile and nodded as they turned and headed toward the podium. He helped her up the stairs, then introduced her. I could see her hands slightly shaking as she took the microphone from him, then like magic, her nerves seemed to vanish.

"Hello friends and family, and thank you for coming this evening. Before I go any further, I need to thank some very important people who helped make this evening possible. Mr. Gabriel Coleman is the creative genius behind our theme and decor, and Mr. Lucian Taylor provided all of the delicious pastries and treats for the evening. I want to also thank the other members of the Blackbourne family - Owen, Sean, North, Silas, Nathan, Victor, and Kota, as well as the Toma family - Axel, Raven, Corey, Brandon, and Marc. They have supported me in some difficult times recently and been the best friends a girl could ever have." She gave us all a brilliant smile then locked eyes with Owen and smirked, "You all know I've spent years not wanting to be in the spotlight, but I guess that really isn't an option any longer. Having these fourteen men in my life and loving all of them will make it difficult to stay hidden any longer." The room swirled with whispers and gasps. Owen's lip curled up slightly in that famous millimeter smile. "Now, please enjoy your evening and the plethora of gossip that will be floating around the room. Thank you all again for coming."

She handed the microphone to a stunned young woman and descended the steps. Coming to stand in front of Owen she grinned, "I guess I broke a rule, Mr. Blackbourne."

"Oh, mia bella regina, you definitely broke a rule, but I couldn't be more proud. Now, may I kiss my girlfriend?" he asked with a wide smile.

"Anytime you wish," she replied and he laughed as he grabbed her and dipped her into a dramatic kiss. We all laughed and cameras flashed. The woman definitely knew how to make a statement. She had made sure to put our intentions on the front page so that her father and anyone else would be aware.

We spent the next couple of hours being introduced to her guests, dancing, and eating. Raven nudged my shoulder and nodded to a couple across the room, "That's them." I took in the pair, noting every detail. The woman, Chloe was wearing a tight outfit that displayed her swollen stomach, while the man, Jackson, wore a fancy suit. Neither had dressed in costume and seemed to be looking over the entire room as if searching for something. Jackson scowled as his eyes landed on Marissa. She was in the center of the dance floor swaying in Victor's arms. Their eyes were glued on each other as they danced, never realizing they were being watched.

Jackson led his wife onto the dance floor and they started to work their way closer to Marissa and Victor. "I'm cutting in," I told Raven who grunted in response. I came up behind Vic and whispered, "Creepy duo at your six," then said out loud, "May I cut in," I smiled at Marissa who giggled and took my hand.

"We'll keep watch," Vic replied and bowed to her. He made a point to pass close to the duo as he left the floor, joining the others who watched us intently. Owen and Sean linked arms and stepped onto the dance floor as well as Raven and Corey.

"Thank you," she whispered as she laid her head on my shoulder.

"For what," I asked.

"Coming to my rescue. You've always kept me safe, Marc, and tonight is no different. I see Jackson and Chloe just behind us. I know you cut in to warn us." Damn, I guess her Academy skills haven't dulled after all this time.

"I see you still have your awareness skills," I chuckled as she leaned against my shoulder. "I never could sneak up on you."

"But it was fun when you tried," she giggled. "I remember the time you and Winston tried to feather me. Now, that is a good memory."

I groaned, "Did you really have to bring that up? Ugh, I was pulling feathers out of unnatural places for weeks." Winston and I had tried to pour honey and feathers on her as a prank one night, but our little spy had placed a decoy in the bed and instead pulled our trick on us.

She did a giggle-snort, "I didn't know you had natural feather places, Marc." I gave another groan and pressed my lips to hers. It started out as a soft kiss but quickly grew. Her eyes were hooded when she pulled back, "Come on." She tugged my hand, leading me off the dance floor and straight toward the creepy duo. She paused and acknowledged them both, "Jackson, Chloe."

"Rissa, you look beautiful," Chloe gushed and started to lean in for a hug, but Marissa stepped back. Chloe sighed and then added, "And here I thought you were only with Dr. Green."

"Surprising how life goes isn't it," Marissa said with a smirk. "Enjoy the party you two. I'll see you in the office on Monday." Jackson had a strange look on his face but never spoke a word as they both stepped aside for us. She pulled me down the hall, past the conference rooms to a small door that had a biometric lock on it. Pressing her thumb to the pad, the door clicked quietly and she tugged me inside. The room was small and held a single couch and a small bathroom. She turned and cupped my face in her hands, pressing her lips to mine. Her tongue darted across my lips and I groaned as she pressed against me. "Marc," she whispered softly.

I pulled her up against me and lifted her up. It only took three steps to cross the room to the little couch. Putting her down I growled, "How the hell do you take this thing off." She laughed and turned, showing me a single zipper. "Gabe's a fucking genius," I muttered as I slid the gown off her shoulders. She pulled at the buttons on my shirt and I quickly pulled it over my head as she giggled and agreed about his genius. She slid off the tights and pointe shoes as I let my pants and boxers fall to the floor. "Fuck, you're so beautiful, Marissa," my voice was low as I breathed out the statement. She had a smile but still ducked her head slightly as if embarrassed. "Don't hide from me, precious. Your beauty could rival that of the goddess, and I am blessed to be in your presence."

Tears filled her eyes as she looked up at me. "I love you, Marc."

My breath shook, "I love you, too." Then without another word, I pulled her to me, reveling in the feel of her skin against mine. Trailing kisses along her bare neck and chest, I lifted her up and lowered her to the couch. I snapped my hips forward, plunging inside of her in a single movement as she cried out my name. "Oh gods, I'd forgotten how amazing you feel," I groaned and began to thrust at a faster tempo. She lifted her legs around my waist as I cradled her back and neck, our bodies moving in sync. She whimpered and trembled as her orgasm built. "Cum for me, my precious Marissa," I whispered into her neck as my own body began to shake. We both fell over the edge as we called out to each other between moans and kisses. It was pure bliss.

I flipped us over so that she was still straddling me as I sat on the couch. Her head rested in the crook of my neck as she danced her fingers along the lines of my tattoos. "I don't think I realized how much I missed all of you until Corey and Raven stepped on the porch," she said softly, "Please don't leave me again, don't let me leave - I can't bear it."

I kissed the top of her head, "I promise. Hell, I'll use my ropes if I have to." She giggled and gently slapped my chest. I tilted her chin up, "Seriously, I promise you - we aren't losing you again, Marissa. You're ours and we are yours." Her eyes had so much love, so much hope in them that it warmed my soul. So I did what any man in my position would do and I kissed her as I slammed my cock upward. Her scream was lost in our kiss as her hips began to grind on me. This time was quicker but so fucking hot. We both came just as our phones started ringing. "I think that's our cue," I chuckled and she slid off my lap, heading to the small bathroom.
