At the cafeteria, where all types of people roam around and eat. Ladies wearing short skirts that shows off more skin than cloth and wearing killer heels ( those kinds where you need to tiptoe a lot like crazy making the muscles of your legs stretch upwards to make you look taller) with blouses or tops that make men ogle since their bras are showing anyways. Guys groping their girlfriends, and wearing cool t shirts and ripped jeans . Some are in groups, others just in pairs. The geeks and nerds are together while the cools are on the other side. In college, either you join a club or you just plain stay out and be the outsider. Baekie is not one of those. She trained herself to be in the middle. Not to stand out yet not to be left out as well.. She just want to make few friends as just  possible. But still,

It's loud and boisterous, Luhan and Kyungsoo together with their other friend Chen are bickering over who's fault it is that they're late for lunch and now they only have small servings of their favourite pasta and a little bit of other stuff. The guys on the other table beside them are talking about basketball and who won the last night's game between Chicago bulls and Atlantic eagles. Kris is dominating the arguments while Chanyeol just look and listen silently, Sehun on the other hand is busy making covert glances at the doe eyed male on the other side of the table together with Kai, muttering something about a crazy jackass penguin looking guy taking his favourite cake from his hand when the cafeteria helper was about to give it to him since it was the last piece.

The eerie silence finally get their attention and decided to find out what caused it, when they saw her standing right at the open door, she looks like about to bolt out the door again but seems to fight against it and willed herself to continue walking towards the aisle of tables full of people eyeing her like as if she's got some drool or something on her face. Confidently walking towards the queue and waiting for the helper to give her order, she just ask for a salad and pineapple juice in can then looking for a place to sit on made her way through the crowd hoping she won't fall down coz she's silently praying to keep her act.
An average Asian woman's height is just 5'3 or if you're a little blessed then you'd be 5'5 making you the tallest. But in Baekie's situation, she's way taller than that for she stands 5'9 minus the heels. So she only wears snickers or black leather shoes. She also doesn't need to wear skirts anymore like back in senior high school which she hates so much. Now she can wear again the clothes she wants like just ripped jeans and a shirt. Her mom's cackling about her attire and her brother's pleas to wear the new top he bought for her just got ignored while her dad just lovingly kissed her hair as he dropped her off to school this morning. Her shirt stands out, it's actually plain and simple, a peach coloured 3/4 sleeves with a signature words saying " Your Face, My Ass. What's the difference?"!  on it. Well maybe that's why they're all looking at her. So she smiled and keep on walking. When she reaches her destination, she gathered all her courage and ask for permission.

" Hi guys, can I take this extra seat beside you? " much to everyone on the table's occupants surprise. All the guys nodded in unison, Kyungsoo even took the initiative to stand up and take out the chair beside him to give it to her. All eyes are on her, when suddenly Chanyeol shouted " Yah!!! What're you looking at, eat???!!!!
