Baekie's POV
Few hours ago

Baekie's parents were so happy to hear that their daughter and friends were invited for sleepover. At least now, she's slowly coming out her shell and meeting new friends. They gave her the permission, with a stern reminder from her dad of course, that her friends look out for her safety and keep an eye on her and her boyfriend.

"Dad!! I told you I don't have a boyfriend." Baekie rolled her eyes and annoyingly glared at her dad. Her mom and brother laughing.

" Not yet samchoon, but maybe tonight she might have!" shouted Tao, from their living room. Earning him a light punch from Suho and a deadly glare from Baekie.

They all laughed uproariously much to Baekie's annoyance.

Once they're at Chen's house, she looked around, tried to get a glimpse of the towering giant but he's not yet there.

"Looking for someone?" Tao and Kris said in unison making them both stare at each other and smile while blushing profusely.

"Dinner's ready guys." Kyungsoo called out from the kitchen, Xiumin is preparing the table helping Chen. Their hands touching from time to time and covertly sending glances to one another.

Kai and Sehun are busy playing with PUBG as Luhan watches them. While Suho and Lay cuddles with each other on the couch.

"Is Chanyeol coming over?"shyly asked Baekie. Getting worried by the minute.

" I can't contact him. His phone's turned off. Let's just eat and I'll try calling him again late." said Kris.

Slightly relaxing, Baekie joined the other guys as they eat. They're all praising Kyungsoo's cooking as Chen complained saying he also helped earning a rowdy laugh from the rest of the guys.

After dinner Baekie, Lay, Tao and Luhan washed the dishes after Suho and Kai cleared the table. Kris and Sehun began setting the board games in the living room so they could play some while waiting for Chanyeol to arrive. Then Kris called Chanyeol.
Everyone were so engrossed playing games they didn't hear the bell ring and codes being punched on the door.

Baekie ran towards the door oblivious of the guys calling her.
The first thing that came to her mind when she saw Chanyeol getting inside is relief, knowing he's safe and now here. She just went with her instinct and hug him tight. Inhaling the woodsy smell of his aftershave and his cologne surround her nostrils making her hug him even more. Her eyes turning watery because of happiness. That's when the urge came over her and kiss him back when Chanyeol initiated the kiss. She can't help herself from moaning. The heat from her body caused by the kiss turning her legs into jelly.

"Baekie, is that Chanyeol on the do.... Whoa!!! Sorry guys didn't mean to interrupt." Chen excitedly shouted as Baekie pushed herself away from Chanyeol, embarrassed, her face turning red. While Chan just shrugged and scratch his nape sheepishly.

" Ahm. Have you eaten already Chan? There's still some left over mashed potatoes, kimchi chicken soup and some meat. Would you like me to heat it for you? Baekie softly asked, avoiding eye contact with the giant.

Chen started singing suddenly, the ost from the kdrama Descendants of the sun. Everytime. He enjoyed teasing the two. The others looked at Chen in confusion.

As Baekie prepared Chan his dinner, the troll decided to speak up since everyone's getting worked up coz of his weird actions.

"I think there's gonna be a new couple before the night ends, guys!" he clapped and danced around excitedly.

Xiumin creased his forehead, a little perturb. Tao's face is not so happy while the rest are just somewhat confused.

"Who is it gonna be?" Suho asked. Though he has a wild guess already but still he wants to hear it said.

Chen looked at the couple on the dining table, Baekie serving the plate of food to Chanyeol as he thanks the girl and take a hold of her dainty hands." Them. "

The resounding crash of a board game being thrown and a stomping feet walking towards Chen makes the troll move a step back. Everyone is just so shock to react. Tao holds him by his collar and lifted him. He menacingly keep hold of the poor guy's shirt.

"Why? What's wrong with what I said?" Chen's voice trembling as he try to squirm out of the panda's tight hold.

"Say it again and I'll smash your face on the wall buster." Tao angrily hissed. Shaking the smaller hard.

"But it's true, I even saw them kissing by the door! If I didn't stepped out it might have turned more. " Chen shouted back defensively at the man who's holding him so tight he started choking.

"What!!!" All of Baekie's four knights exclaimed in unison, turning their heads to the two people concern. The others started to mobilise. Xiumin pry Tao's hand holding Chen while Suho and Lay walked over to Baekie. Kris and Kai stand up and helped Chen. Kyungsoo and Luhan picked all the pieces of monopoly on the floor as Sehun goes inside the bathroom to pee. He often does that when nervous.

"Come honey, let's just go home." Lay calmly take a hold of Baekie and urged her to come with them.

"Wait! What do you mean go home? And why so sudden?" anxiously questioned Luhan. The others are also concerned about what's happening.

"Come on, let's go. Suho, take our things back to the car. Tao, call Baekbom hyung and tell him we're coming back so he would open the gate." Xiumin said, as he takes the keys out of his pocket.

"The hell with you! You're not taking Baekie home." Chanyeol grab Baekie's hand from Lay and pulled her to him making the other flinched in fear. Tao saw red as he noticed his best friend's reaction. He punched the giant straight on the face. Chanyeol retaliate by throwing a punch as well, hitting the other on his jaw. They kept at it until the guys stepped in between the two to stop the fight. Sehun ran up to Luhan seeing how he's already getting distressed. Kai hugged Kyungsoo, who's now crying audibly while Chen is shouting to make them stop.

"I said stop it you two!" roared Kris, his voice echoing like thunder. " Can't you both see you're making it worse?" he pointed to their friends who've already turned into a crying mess. Baekie is covering her ears and crying silently, her body shivering in fear. She huddled under the table.

Everyone stared at her with concern in their eyes. Chanyeol tried to move towards her but was held back by Xiumin making a hand gesture saying don't come any closer. Suho gave Tao a handkerchief to wipe his bloodied face and stealthily move near where Baekie huddled. She kept herself hidden under the table.

Silence filled the room as they waited for what's about to happen. Chanyeol felt helpless seeing how distraught the woman he loves and can't do anything about it.

"Hey, it's me. It's okay now. Sorry for the commotion. Everything's fine now. We just got carried away. But it's okay know. Chanyeol and I are okay now." Tao softly cooed, holding his hand out,trying not to make unnecessary move so as not to spook his already distraught best friend. His heart ached at the sight of his best friend and felt like kicking himself more for causing this to her. He knew how such actions can be devastating to her. After the trauma she suffered in the past, he still forgot what will her reaction be if she witnessed it again. Holding his breath, he waited for her to reach for his hand.

A minute later, her tears streaming down her face, she looked at him. The fear is still there but not enough to scare her into reaching out to him. He hugged her and carried her towards the couch. All eyes are on the pair. She's now silently hiccups sitting on his lap. Chen brought a glass of water and gave it to Tao so she can drink. Her face kept buried to the taller's chest. Almost like an eternity passed.

" Is...is he...is he alive? Is... Chanyeol okay? Baekie asked in a small voice barely audible. Her voice hitched, ready to cry again.

Xiumin motions Chanyeol to slowly come near them only after he wiped the blood off his face as well.

" Hi baby, I'm here." Chanyeol softly said. He smiled, trying to hide the pain caused by his split lip and open his arms, not moving. Allowing Baekie to decide whether to reach for his hands or not. She looked at him and gently touches his bruised cheek. Her eyes etched not of fear anymore but of worry.

Tao lifted Baekie and gently transferred her to Chanyeol's waiting arms. She snuggled closer to Chanyeol and inhaled his manly scent. In a matter of minutes, her breathing becomes even indication that she's now fallen asleep. Chen gestured for Chanyeol to bring her to the guest room.

Settling Baekie on the bed and covering her with a blanket, he kissed her forehead. Then slowly and silently walked out the door.

Kris is attending to Tao's wound while everyone is sitting on the couch. Chen sits beside Xiumin.

"So...how about explaining us what really is behind this unfortunate event." Chanyeol stated matter of fact, as he threw spitting glance on the panda guy.
