Avada Kedavra

The days to follow are far from normal, it's the same as before, but I never speak to him anymore.

"Hermione, please. What happened?"

"Stop, please. Talk to me!"

I walk away each time. I go to Ron every time and receive my beatings or he uses me like a puppet. I haven't spoken in months.

I trusted Draco with my actual life. He hasn't called me that since before the war. This whole situation has made me realize that no one truly cares about me and only Ron has stayed.

I walk into the gryffindor commons room for the last time before deciding that I don't want to be alive anymore. As Ron finishes, I tell him I'm going to the bathroom. I grab a few bottles of medicine my parents used and a large knife before heading to the bathrooms, bypassing moaning myrtle and locking myself in a stall.

(Draco's Point Of View)
Everyday Hermione's face falls even more as if I killed her family. She hasn't talked to me in months and potter has relieved the day for over 6 months, not knowing she's is being held captive by his best mate. I decide to meet up with Snape again and we talk through everything.

"She hasn't spoken to anyone in months. It's as if she hates me but I've never done anything wrong."

Snape runs his chin and tells me to come towards him. "I found a bottle of polyjuice potion in Mr. Weasley's belongings."

My eyes widen. "You don't think he used it to make Hermione hate me and not trust me, do you?"

He raises an eyebrow. "This is Ronald Weasley we're talking about, Mr. Malfoy. He's been capable of bigger things."

"I have to talk to Hermione." I turn to leave before he stops me.

"No, what you need to do is stop pressuring her to talk to you."

I look down, feeling foolish. "I know. I'm just so worried about her."

"And you don't think I am?" I jump at his demanding voice. "I've known her for eight years, draco, she feels like a daughter to me."

"I know, sir. I'm sorry." Snape's face softens as he breathes deeply.

"Go live the day Draco, I may have a plan tomorrow."

I nod, exiting the room and continuing down the corridor to the lunch tables as usual.

(Hermione's Point Of View)

I can't help but wonder why Draco has been quiet. He ignores me now, not asking what's wrong. All day he's given me space and oddly enough, I feel drawn to him.

I don't speak to him out of fear but I do look at him at any chance I can get. I think about what it would feel like to kiss his soft lips.

His smile is rarely worn and I'd do anything to see him smile. I shake the thoughts off quickly as I open the pill bottle and down its contents, conjuring up water to drink it down. I sit in the stall as still as can be and lift my feet up. My eyes close as I decide to take a nap, and hopefully not wake up from it.

(Draco's Point Of View)

"Come on! It's been two hours, Professor. He'll find us here with her. She hasn't woken up either." I flail my arms in the air. "That's it. She's dead. I cou-"

Snape rolls his eyes and sighs, pointing to the bed where she's been since we found her. I walk up to the side of the bed and notice her eyes opening. I smile. "Hermione."

Her face drops into a scowl and pain rushes through her eyes. "Why didn't you let me die! You're the one who hates me so much!"

"Miss. Granger, if I may, Mr. Malfoy was not the one who hurt you. Mr.
Weasley stole the polyjuice potion from the cupboard. He knowingly caused you to hate Draco because Ronald knows about him and you conversing. We've both lived this day for almost 2 or 3 months. I may have also brought in another asset besides the council."

Hermione's face fills with disbelief and confusion. When Potter walks in and runs to her, panic flows through her eyes. "It's okay, 'Mione, they-" his throat seems to have a lump stuck in it from crying. "I know. A-and we're going to fix this, okay?"

She still looks panicked so I rush to her side. "Give us some time, Hermione, we just need another week of that filthy WEASEL thinking he's got you held down. You have to start acting like you trust him."

"B-but I do trust him."

I almost smack myself, thinking I was dreaming. "You, what?"

"She trusts me, you stifling rats. Time to make sure there are no witnesses this time." I take out my wand to counteract the spell but he doesn't say a spell, and things turn black immediately.

1) I had NO idea this story was going to be so popular.

2) I've had the WORST writers block on all of my stories.

3) good/bad news I'm already writing the next chapter but i have no idea when it'll be finished.

Thanks for reading! I like constructive criticism. And the grammar police. <3
