Part 4: No

My fingers tremble.

"Not again." My voice is ice cold. The dull and shattered screen shakes in my uneasy hands. "No." I say, trying to hold back sobs. It's another picture, but this time, it looks directly at me. The girl from before. Staring deep into my soul, begging for mercy, for help. She is just so sad looking. Just complete and utter sorrow.

Knock! knock!

I glance up at my door. I set my phone down on the floor, forgetting to turn it off. I walk as quietly as possible to the door. Standing on my tip toes, I peek through a small slit I carved in it. The makeshift hole wasn't good enough, I couldn't make out anything but a shadow.

Gathering my courage, I opened the door. It creeked loudly.

"Hello, uh, Umi?" It was the very same person who gave me an apple at the supermarket. I gasped.

"Y-yes?" I stammered.

"Can I come in?" He asked politely. My mind was racing. Why was he here standing on my doorstep?

"Um..." I paused to think. "Sure?" He took a quick step in, then slammed the door shut.

"Listen up now." He ordered.
