*Sonic's POV*
"So you made new friends, I see. Nice to meet you." Aleena said as she walked inside the house and saw Tails, Uncle Chuck was already here and he was really surprised to see that we had met each other.

"Nice to meet you." Tails said, shaking hands with her.

"Mom, this is Tails. He also works with Chuck sometimes. He is part of our family now." I wrapped an arm around Tails, resting it on his shoulder as I looked at our mother.

"Welcome to the family." She smiled at Tails and walked to the kitchen where Sonia and Manic were at. Sonia was cooking while Manic was trying to get on her nerves. "And what happened to you?" She asked Manic when she saw he had a black eye.

"Got into a fight with a guy who tripped Sonia." He said calmly with a shrug, at this point, it was not new for Manic to get into fights. Mom was just disapointed it happened on his first day in a new school.

"What am I going to do with you?" Aleena sighed and shook her head then went to go talk to Chuck in the living room.

The rest of the day was pretty calm, we had been given some of our classmates phone numbers, including Shadows who I had noticed he had ran off. He was fast, now I had someone to race with which was pretty cool in my opinion but I doubt that Shadow even liked me around. Maybe leaving him alone was best, but who am I kidding? Of course I wasnt going to do that.

The next morning, we bumped into Tails on our way to school so we walked with him and went straight to our homeroom class. We walked in only to see Rouge and her group already there.

"Hey Sonic!" I turned to see Amy running towards me.

"Hey Ames, good morning." I smiled at her, Sonia walked to her seat and Manic walked to Scourge who was in his seat again. Amy started talking but my attention was on Manic now, trying to pay attention to what he was doing.

"So? What do you say?" I snapped out of it when she stopped talking.

"What?" I asked clearly confused.

"Yes or no?" She asked, I didnt know what to say so I nodded hoping it was the right answer.

"Really? O-okay! I will wait for you after school." It wasnt until I saw her face turn a bright red color that i realized whatever I had just agreed to was not good. She walked away after that and I quickly walked to Sonia.

"What did she ask me?" I whispered in her ear.

"To go on a date, you dork. She likes you." She whispered back, my ears perked up. "Why did you say yes? You dont even know her."

"A date?" I stood straight and looked back at her who was now talking to Blaze. Blaze was now glaring at me, her cat eyes, narrowed, fire in them as if she was planning on murdering me. "Chaos. I was paying attention to this idio-" I froze when I pointed at Manic and saw him on Scourges lap, kissing him.

Sonia face palmed and I rubbed my face. Of course Manic would already be stuck in yet another situation like this. Everyone was looking at them, causing Rouge to walk to us.

"Scourge isnt someone you want your brother around, Blue." She warned us and I nodded.

But before I could call Manic or walk to them, Manic got up and slapped Scourge roughly across his face, leaving a mark. Scourge tensed up but smirked as he watched Manic walk back towards us.

"What is the matter with you?" I sighed and Manic chuckled and shrugged.

"He kissed me, I didnt go for it. I went to confront him about yesterday." He confessed but something told me he actually didnt mind the kiss as much as he made it out to be.

"Right." Sonia thought the same, I could tell. I chuckled and sat down, the bell rang and Ms. Vanilla walked in but she didnt say anything. She walked past us and to Shadows side then whispered something to him.

Shadow nodded at her and stood up then grabbed his backpack and walked out of the room looking calm. Everyone was confused and watched as Shadow walked out, everyone except for Rouge. Soon after he left, someone else walked in, standing at the front of the class, beside Vanilla.

"Thats the principal." Tails whispered towards us.

"Oh okay, I was wondering when we will figure out who was the principal." I nodded then went silent as we all listened what he had to say.

Principal Robotnik was talking about the goals he had for this school year, what he expected of us and many other boring things. By the end of his talk, I noticed he was looking in my direction. Looking straight into my eyes then looked at Manic and Sonia the same way. I didnt like the way he looked at us, made me uncomfortable but I shrugged it off. He was looking at us that way because we were new to his school right? But technically everyone in the class was new here, it was our freshman year. But they all had met him before, we never had.

After the principal left, Shadow walked back in and sat down. Vanilla took roll call and then we were free to go to our first classes of the day.

"Why did Shadow leave when the principal walk in?" I asked Tails as we walked out of the homeroom class.

"That is none of your business." I heard a loud growl come from behind us. I turned around to see Shadow walking close by while putting on his backpack.

"I was just curious. Did you get in trouble?" I asked but I received a glare. "Geez, okay. Sorry." He walked past me, bumping my shoulder as he did so and walked inside the class.

Such a misterious hedgehog. Color me intrigued.
