*Sonic's POV*
"This is the second time I get called you went to the principals office. I want you home straight after school, and you're going straight into your room. No going out, no running, no video games, phone or TV. Do you understand?" My mother spoke on the other side of the phone. 

"Yes, Ma. I will be home. I'm sorry." I apologized and hung up.

"So cancel the plans?" Tails asked me.

"You can go with Manic?" I shrugged at him. Manic and Tails looked at each other, Manic cracking a devilish smile and pulling Tails closer. "Maybe we can wait until I am not grounded. I'll pay you the tickets back. I'm sorry." I chuckled softly.

"It's okay. Just buy them the next time." Tails started eating.

"Blue, can we talk to you?" I looked up to see Rouge, Knuckles, and Shadow waiting for me. I smiled and nodded, then stood up and walked with them to the main hallway of the school.

"Whats up?" I asked, I carried an apple with me and took a bite of it. Resting my free hand on my jacket pocket.

"We wanted to apologize over what happened again. And we wanted to thank you for taking the blame instead of Shadow as well." Rouge was the one doing all the talking.

"It's okay. For the way Shadow told me to stay away from the principal the last time, I kind of figured there is something going on that I don't know about between the two." I said, glancing at Shadow, whose ear twitched when I spoke those words. "I didn't want you to be stuck in a situation like that. Something tells me you are the one who needs to stay away from him, not me. Which I won't push about nor will I ask because I can tell it's something serious and personal." I stopped, seeing the doors to the school open, it caught my attention since it was the middle of the school day.

"I will keep taking the blame if it means that Sh-" My ears perked up, and my gaze locked on the one who opened the door. I felt my legs move, taking a step back, and I dropped the apple that I was holding out of pure shock.

"No. Not you." I heard Manic say from behind, but my mind was focused on the one walking towards me now.

*Shadow's POV*
"What's going on? Who is she?" Rouge asked as we all looked at who was walking towards Faker. She was brightly smiling, holding her hands in front of her.

"That's Sally. Sonics, ex." Fakers' sister said with a heavy sigh. She dropped her backpack and then looked at Manic. "Take Sonic away, I'll get her to leave."

"Sonic, honey, you didn't -" Fakers ex reached for him, but he suddenly slapped her hand away and clenched his fists.

"What are you doing here, Sal?" He spoke coldly, I've only known Faker for a short amount of time, but even I knew this was out of character for him. Had she really hurt him that bad?

"You weren't answering my calls." She explained then looked at his siblings. "I missed you all."

"Sonic clearly didn't. So why don't we go outside, Sally? You can talk to me instead." Sonia spoke in a rather passive-aggressive way as she walked closer to her and rested her hand on her back, guiding her outside of the school.

"Come on, bro. Are you okay?" Manic asked his brother.

"Its... Been one heck of a day. That's for sure." Faker chuckled and snapped out of it, then finally looked at us. "I think I'm going to go home?" He fixed his backpack and waved at all of us. "I'll see you guys later."

"Wait! Really? You've never gone home early. Did you want me to go with you?" Manic asked him.

"Nah. I'm okay. Just feel like it this time. I'll see you after school. Bye, guys." He dashed off before anyone could say anything else. It was strange, I kind of had to hold myself back from stopping him.

"Is he going to be okay?" Knuckles asked.

"I am not sure. Sally and him dated for a very long time. He loved her, something he could never imagine before meeting her, and she loved him, but she changed at some point. She started using him, controlling him, and he listened. She crushed him, little by little, breaking his heart piece by piece. They've been on and off because Sonic can't seem to let go of the idea of her before she started treating him this way." Manic explained, picking up Sonias backpack. 

"Poor Blue. He seems to finally realize she isn't the one, though." Rouge said, and I nodded. I actually nodded. Why was I still here anyway?

"Yeah. But Sonics never missed school. Even though he acts the way he acts, he cares about his grades and always does the right thing. Ma grounded him so he won't even be able to be out of his room for a while. The worst time for that. I feel like seeing her again will have Sonic the way he was when they broke up, and thats... not good."

"We could always go visit?" Rouge offered.

"I'll let you know. I have to talk to our mother when she gets home." With that said, the bell rang, and we all went to our classes.

Why did I feel worried about him all of a sudden?
