All Competitions and Challenges here at the Poets Pub, are open to all members of the Poets Pub, unless otherwise declared.

All competitions and challenges will have their individual rules and regulations posted at the beginning of each competition and challenge.

Any changes or updates to said challenges and competitions, will be posted as separate pages within the collection.

Strict adherence to the competition dates must be followed and any poems submitted outside those dates will not be considered for the competition.

Competition and challenge dates will be clearly stated at the beginning of each competition or challenge.

In the case of multiple submission competitions. 

Those competitions that have a weekly or biweekly challenge within the competition itself.  

Where each section of the competition is judged or voted on separately and then combined to produce a final winner.

To be considered for the competition winner, Poets do not have to enter all phases of the competition, but the overall chances of winning are increased by competing in all phases.

If there is an exception to this rule, it will be stated as so, in the competitions.

To be considered as a winner in any of Poets Pub competitions, the following rules must be adhered to:

Poems must be submitted in the proper format as explained earlier in this handbook.

Poems must be submitted within the dates of the competition, as outlined at the beginning of each competition.

Poems must be original works by the Poet.

Poets must respond to all comments made on their Poems, during the competition. Interaction between Poets and readers is a vital part of any competition and is part of the ambience of the Poets Pub.

Poets must be an official member of the Poets Pub. 

As always, once the competition is closed and the winner declared, the collection will be open to multiple entries from any Pubber.
