When Kaminari walks into his dorm, he rummages through his drawers to find a shirt.

'Well, I guess I'm just going in my blazer.' He thinks to himself. He carefully puts on the blazer and sits down at his desk.

'God damn it,' He thought to himself, realization sinking in, 'I told someone what was happening to me and Midoryia. Now he's going to tell Mr. Aizawa and Mr. Kymate will find out and beat me half to death!' Kaminari thinks to himself, running his fingers threw his hair.

A sudden knock at his door alarms Kaminari, causing him to shock himself. He winces silently and walks over to open the door.

Midoryia is in the doorway. The look on his face doesn't look good. "You told him, didn't you?" Midoryia asked in a worried tone.

Kaminari slowly nodded as he moved out of the way to let Midoryia in. "He used his quirk on me! I couldn't stop myself!" Kaminari whisper-yells.

"It's alright, I believe you. We just can't let Mr. Kymate find out, he'll kill you." Midoryia says. "We just have to act like normal." He says. Kaminari nods and gets up. "We should head back to class. Iida is going to yell at us if we're late." Kaminari says.

Midoryia nods and also stands up. They both leave the dorm and head to class. "Oh also, button up your blazer more, your chest is showing." Midoryia says as they reach the class 1-A door. Kaminari buttons it to the last button. Him and Midoryia walk in just in time.

The Deku and Bokusquad each welcome the peers into their group. They spilt up and Midoryia glances at Kaminari and he glances at Midoryia one last time before they start messing with their friends.

"What happened to you, Kaminari? Kirishima and Tesutesu told us that you had cuts and burn marks on your back!" Mina says in a demanding-worried tone. So those were the people that were in front of him!

He started buttoning the very top button of his blazer. "Probably just something my quirk did. Maybe it's getting stronger?" Kaminari ask-tells nervously. Mina looked at him while he was buttoning his top button.

"Why are you buttoning your blazer? You never wear it like that." She asks, placing her hand on Kaminari's to stop him.

He moves her hand away. "Uhm. It's kinda cold? Yeah, because it's cold." Kaminari quickly makes up. It doesn't feel good lying to his friends.

Mina shakes her head. "You're an awful lair, Kami. Why are you really buttoning it?" She asks again. "I-I'm not lying!" Kaminari says, trying to sound convincing.

Mina doesn't believe it and starts trying to unbutton it. (Before I go any further, I wanna say something, Mina is in a relationship with Urakraka in this AU. So, don't think she's trying to do something to Denki. Now, carry on.)

Kaminari kept batting away Mina's attempt at unbuttoning it. "C'mon, Pikabro, it's really hot in here. You're going to burn up if you don't unbutton it just a bit." Kiri says, trying to get him to listen.

Kaminari backs away. "Fine! Look, I couldn't find any shirts that weren't torn. So I had no choice but to go in just my blazer!" Kaminari yell-says. Mina backs off. "Oh..sorry Kami. I didn't know." Mina says guilty. "It's alright. Sorry for blowing up." Kaminari replies.

Kiri smiles his dinosaur smile.

Mr. Aizawa came in, followed by a guilty looking Shinsou. "Before we begin, Midoryia and Kaminari, there is someone in the hallways by your dorms wanting to see you two." Mr. Aizawa says. Midoryia and Kaminari share worried looks and get up.

They walk out the door and head to the location Aizawa described. "It's Mr. Kymate. I know it." Midoryia says, tears welling up in his eyes. Kaminari carefully puts his arm on Midoryia's shoulder. "I won't let him hurt you, that's a promise," He says, "Now, don't cry. 'It's a sign of weakness.'" Kaminari finishes, mocking their caretaker at the end.

Midoryia chuckles a bit but quickly silenced as they approached Mr. Kymate. "Why hello boys.." He says, with a wicked smile. "Why did you need us." Kaminari says in a stern voice.

Mr. Kymate frowns. "Now, Kaminari, is that the way you would talk to the person that raised you since you were 6?" Mr. Kymate says with a chill in his voice. He takes a couple steps forwards, Kaminari pushes Midoryia back and roots to his spot.

Mr. Kymate's quirk is silence. He can silence anyone he wants at any given moment.

"Answer the question." Kaminari says again. Mr. Kymate slaps Kaminari, hard, on the face. "Don't talk to me like that." Mr. Kymate says. "But, I'm here to tell you, a new kid has come into the orphanage." Mr. Kymate says.

His grin gets wider. "But since there's someone new and you LOVE to sacrifice yourself, the beatings will be longer and harder." He says, with a sinister laugh at the end.

Kaminari stands taller. "I'll take all the beatings. Just don't hurt the little ones or Midoryia." Kaminari says. "Deal." Mr. Kymate says with an evil grin.

It's been 2 months since Kaminari agreed to take the beatings for everyone. He hasn't been himself. All he does is, sit at his chair silently, he doesn't hang out with the Bokusquad anymore, and at lunch he eats in the library.

A plus of being alone always, he's learned to control his quirk. Every time he cries, it's not as bad as it was before.

One day, Mr. Kymate came back to the school. As always, Mr. Aizawa tells him that someone is waiting for him. He nods and walks out the door.

Before he can even get to where Mr. Aizawa said, he's pinned to the wall. Kaminari know who it is, he tries his best to avoid eye contact.

"Look at me, you fucking brat." Mr. Kymate says. When Kaminari doesn't look at him, he kicks him in the ankles. Kaminari winces.

Kaminari looks at the man before him. "W-What..?" Kaminari stutters out. Mr. Kymate smirks. "I wish I could do it here, but I would get caught to easily," Mr. Kymate says, hitting Kaminari's head on the wall, "So it'll have to wait." He says in an evil tone.

A sudden cough alarms Kaminari and Mr. Kymate. Mr. Aizawa was standing a few feet away from the two. "You wanna repeat what you just said?" Mr. Aizawa says. Mr. Kymate unpins Kaminari from the wall. "And who are you?" Mr. Kymate says, walking towards Aizawa. "A teacher who cares for his student." Mr. Aizawa says, using his scarf to tie Mr. Kymate up.

"Let me go you bastard!" Mr. Kymate yells. "I'll let Mic deal with you. Kaminari, come with me." Mr. Aizawa says. Kaminari quickly runs to catch up with Aizawa.

Aizawa stares silently ahead. "What did he do to you?" He eventually asks. Kaminari suddenly looses all color in his face. "Only if you want to about it." Mr. Aizawa added.

Kaminari thought for a moment before saying, "I need to find the others." And stopping dead in his tracks. "What? Where are 'The others'?" Aizawa asks, stopping next to Kaminari.

"The others. The orphanage isn't a safe place for them to be alone. I need to find them!" Kaminari yells breaking into a dead run.

Aizawa grabs Kaminari by the shoulder. "We will find them, don't worry. For now, go to your dorm and rest. The 'others' will be okay." Mr. Aizawa says, "I promise."
