Jada (what she looks like👆)
Omg, omg, OMG! FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL! Oh my gosh, what do I wear? I get to see my best friend, Dana, after three months, I need to look perfect. Not to mention all the hot high school guys.
"Shut up, brain!" I yelled.
"Jada, why did you tell your brain to shut up? That's a bad word!" Says my baby sister, Nyla, as she runs into my room.
"Well that, doesn't concern you, now does it Sunshine?"
"No, but you said a bad word!" Nyla says pouting.
"Well I'm sorry. I'll go wash my mouth out with soap, how bout that?" I say trying to persuade her.
"Hmm," she says while I try to stifle a laugh. "Well, OK." And with that she runs out of my room.
Breakfast was boring as usual, with Mom and Dad already at work, and Nyla making her usual mess before her first day of kindergarten.
"C'mon Nyla, you don't wanna be late on your first day." I say in a bored tone. She picks up her plate, grabs her backpack, and stands, patiently, by the door.
"Ok, let's go!" Nyla yells with a mouthful of food.
"Yeah, but leave the plate. I don't need you littering." With that she put the plate back and walked out the door.
