Author's POV

Jin and Namjoon parted from the hug and looked at each other with a smile beaming out of their faces. "Let's go, shall we," Jin said. Namjoon nodded and followed the younger. Namjoon looked around himself and noticed that he wasn't in the arms of nature anymore. It was way more than that.

They stopped in front of what looked like a huge hologramic gate with robots on guard in front of it. They were all extremely tall and pretty much the way we imagine robots to be. "Welcome, Sir! I suppose that you just died. Can you tell me how you died and your name, or if you are not comfortable then please just tell me your name and birthday?" A robot asked Namjoon with a grinning emoji on its face screen.

Namjoon was extremely surprised. Was this actually the ghost world that he imagined and thought about? Jin was just staring at the robots with a casual expression, he was used to all of this. "Bruh, are you sure we are in the ghost world and not in like the future of humanity or something?" Namjoon whispered in Jin's ear but still kept his eyes on the robot that spoke to him. "This IS the ghost world, just trust me on that one," Jin whispered back childishly.

"No way..." Namjoon's eyes were fully wide. "Sir?" The robot spoke again. Namjoon cleared his throat and rubbed the back of his neck with nervousness. "Oh umm...well-" Before Namjoon could say anything Jin cut him off. "He's alive," Jin said with an unamused face. The robot's face turned into a surprised emoji.

"Oh...really? I didn't know that was possible! Congratulations on making it through The Gate of Afterlife!" The robot smiled again. "Oh t-thank you!" "Though, you will still have to go to the registration centre to confirm and register yourself. I am sure this gentle sir will be able to guide you." The robot pointed at Jin. "But even if you get lost, just ask a bot, helper, or angel to help you. The help centre is also always at your service, sir. Now can I at least know your name?"

Namjoon was confused about going to the registration centre part. There was such in this world? And there were angels in the ghost world? Aren't they usually in Heaven? "It's K-Kim Namjoon" Namjoon gave a slight smile. The robots opened up the doors and let them enter. Just then, Namjoon let out a huge gasp.

This world was more than extraordinary and unique. It was as if the power of imagination came to life and gave its blessings to this world. The surroundings were filled with floating towers and buildings. The trees were unrealistically big, like as big as the Empire State Building! Just above the buildings and trees there were floating cliffs and bushes, vines were falling off them, they were in the sky. Floating cars filled up right above and below them. In the sky, there were 4 moons and huge twinkling stars hanging like chandeliers.

The sky looked so much like a galaxy, even better actually. In the distance Namjoon could see a magical palace-looking place, it was huge. And just right next to that thing he saw a blue dragon flying around it elegantly. Namjoon's mouth was wide open. He looked down and saw that they were walking on the pathway of flowers, though the flowers didn't get ruined or mused as they walked, they just stayed in their original states.

There were even crystals hanging randomly around in the air but you could pass through them. The place looked as if fantasy, sci-fi, and nature became best friends. It was just so beautiful! "How is this world so beautiful and futuristic?!" Namjoon exclaimed while still looking around. "Our world is infinitely times better and more advanced than the human world. And I am not bragging or anything, you can literally see it yourself." Jin explained

"But how, though? Did the Lord create this world like this?" "Well, he did create the base like this, but he told the fellow souls like us to do it as well. Every good and creative soul contributes their craft to this world, for fun. There are actually helpers and angels that are responsible for evolving this world. The ghost world can't really become polluted or in trouble like the human world because it's paranormal. It's just not possible. All the things created here are under the guidelines that angels along with the Lord created."

"Woah! So it means that you guys made it look like this?!" "You can say that. We wanted to make it extremely futuristic yet magical." "Did you also contribute in the making?" "Yup! I made the crystals that you are seeing!" Namjoon grinned. "Oh my God, really!? They look so nice!" "I appreciate your compliment" "Also, how am I going to live without food again?" " I think you might be able to eat ghost food. But in our future journey, we might not get food. So for that, we need to buy you the Water for Life. It's different from the water of you humans. It can make you survive for two months with just one sip alone, no other food or water needed. It's not as good as the water that the Lord created but still enough for you. " Jin said.

"What? Is it something that you can just BUY from the market?" Namjoon asked with sarcasm. "Well...yeah, from the ghost market" Jin was looking ahead, going on the route that lead to the registration centre. "There is a market for ghosts?! And how the hell do you pay?!" "In this world, the things that you have done when alive really matters. For example, our good deeds are like the things that make our journey in the ghost world easier. So that's why when you enter here, you get guided to a registration office where they check your deeds, identity, cause of death, and more.

Depending on that, they give you an essence, basically like a social identity card in the human world. The more good things that you have done, the more choices you get to make in this world. " Jin explained. "What if you have done nothing good?" "Then you will have no choices. You will be sent to the other world, which is right next to hell. The souls there can't make any decisions for themselves. They will have to follow what they are told to do, just like slaves." "Then what are some things that ghosts with good deeds can do?" Namjoon another question.

"The things that you can do, again really depend on how much you have done good. But another thing it depends on is the amount of suffering you have had. For example, if you have been abused all your life, then automatically you will have a lot of good options reserved for you. But if you done bad things then your goodness will be taken a little bit. Having the highest amount of goodness and suffering gives you the most exclusive options. Such as, going to see your family invisibly whenever you want, choosing the time when you want to go to paradise. But if somehow you come to know about this rule as a living human and just start doing good things and purposely suffering, then that won't count.

The registration centre literally checks your soul. So they can know. Also, there are levels to the types of essences you get. And well your essence level matters your accessibility rate to certain things in every service and facility in this world. So that's where your goodness comes in. For example, if I wanted something but then if my essence level was too low for it, then I wouldn't be allowed to get that thing.

Now to put it all together, your goodness is basically like a currency here. It's the only thing that will help you survive and have an easy journey here. It wouldn't lessen unless you do something wrong. All the things that were bad to do in the human world count here as well. For example, stealing or something. Though minor sins don't really matter, they are just the way how we humans and souls are like. We all commit sins, whether big or small."

"Ok wow, that was a lengthy explanation, but that's so cool, though! Also, I have noticed that the ghosts here, including you, look very clean and freshened. Like, in the movies, ghosts look like they have the same scars and wounds from their death. And they look even scarier than before." Jin chuckled at the comment. "Well, we actually do have scars from our death. But what happens is that we go to a ghost salon that fixes everything and makes us look pretty just the way we want. And you know it already, you have to do enough good things to have that as an option."

"So we can also wear whatever we want to, like expensive and nice clothes?" "Yeah, but that isn't the greatest thing that the fashionable people here like." "So what is it?" Namjoon was so curious about everything.

"We have things called skin, trails, and body change. The skin thing is where you can change the texture, colour and more things of your skin. So you can have a snake or lion-like skin. Trails are the things that appear when you walk. They can appear in front of you or behind you, depending on the person's liking. Body changing is when you are literally changing the whole body. So you can become any different character, creature, or animal. Though, your identity is going to remain the same. There are other cool things as well, such as wings, tails, and more. You know when you are editing your avatar for a game, it's just like that, but even cooler."

"That's amazing Wow!" "This place has many unique and cool things. But that doesn't mean you will kill yourself just for this!" "Yeah, you are right. Also, will other ghosts judge me for being a human?" "Maybe a little, but if you feel uncomfortable, we can get your identity changed through identity theft," Jin said casually. "What? There is such a thing in here as well?!" "Our world is way cooler than you humans think. But anyways, if you DO try to identity theft then you WILL get a bit of your good deeds taken, like duh" "let's not do it then. "Yeah and now we should probably go to the registration office, then buy you the water."

"But, why is there even that water when there is basically no one who needs it." "There are half-dead lives that come here. It's for them." "What do you mean, half-dead lives?" "Basically, the people that weren't supposed to die. Sometimes there are people who weren't supposed to die, come here. It can happen because of a mistake that occurred in the list of the Grim Reapers. Or when another person died in the place of the one that was supposed to die. If the person is allowed to choose whether they want to stay or not due to their essence level, then they can go back if they want or just stay. Now don't ask any more questions and just follow my lead." Jin said again.

Hello...yes it's, unfortunately, me again. :)) But anyways, I'm aware this chapter turned out horrible and there's absolutely nothing I can do about it other than just rethink my life decisions of making it. ;-; Though, I hope you liked-
