Chapter 02

Chapter 02

Growing up, I was always told to keep my 'virginity' in tact because apparently, it's the best gift I could give to my husband. The thing was, I never heard them telling my male cousins to stay virgin because that's the best gift they could gift to their future wife.

So, I said to myself, screw that 'gift.'

The moment I turned 18, I got rid of that virginity.

I scrolled through the contact list on my phone, trying to choose who I'd ask to help me get rid of that virginity. I just hated that word as if that's the measurement of my worth. It's just a piece of hymen. Better get rid of it para hindi na mapasok pa sa isip ko.

I called Levi for lunch and then in the middle, I asked him if he'd have sex with me. I could still clearly remember him choking on his drink dahil nabigla siya sa sinabi ko. He was weirded out at first... but then I explained to him my reason why. There's no lingering feeling behind it–I really just wanted to get it over with. So, we agreed to meet at a hotel that he booked under a different name. We didn't know how to start it because we'd been friends for a long time and it did feel kind of weird.

We tried to kiss, but it felt weird... at first. But he was such a good kisser that seconds later, I was already feeling it. His hands knew their way around a woman's body. He was touching me in all the right places and before I even knew it, I was already naked and writhing under him.

It was great–getting laid was great, no doubt about that. I did have a good time–Levi was a good friend and he took his sweet time to make sure that I'd have a great time. It was so great that we hooked up a couple times more, but that's all there was to it. We're good at sex, but we're even greater as friends.

Then, life happened.

I found other guys I dated and slept with.

It's all good.

Sex was good and even better was that you can control a guy through sex. It was a... weird power. It was weird how far some guy will go for sex. I would never understand, but that wasn't a problem. I'd happily use it to my advantage.

'Brunch,' I texted Archie. I hated being late because it's a sign of disrespect. If you commit to coming at a certain time, you better do your part and stop wasting other people's time.

'I know.'

'Pick me up at 9am.'

'I'm already on my way.'

'And you're texting me?'

'I can do two things at a time. Don't be surprised, love.'

I rolled my eyes. He knew I hated him calling me love, but he told me that he equally hated me calling him Archie. He said I better make my peace with it. I could already imagine my cousins doubling over in laugher kapag narinig nila na tinatawag ako na love ni Archie.

It was only 7AM and I knew that the reason he's coming over much earlier than expected was to have sex. We had sex the first time last Sunday and since then, he'd been coming over more frequently. It was hard to say if he's already beginning to like me or if he's just blinded by the lust, but either way, he's getting easier to be with. Hindi kagaya ng dati na kinu-kwestyon niya ang bawat desisyon ko.

"You're too early," I said as I opened the door. But I was sure that he was not listening to my words as he was intently staring at what I was wearing. I just finished my morning yoga and I was fresh out of the bath. I was only wearing a white robe that quickly got discarded the moment Archie stepped inside my condo.

"Archie, brunch," I reminded him as he was busy kissing and licking my neck.

"I know... that's why I came early," he replied as he started kneading my breasts.

I stood there and let him kiss me and touch every part of my skin. "I'll be wearing a squared neck dress," I told him as I felt him lingering on the side of my neck. I didn't know if he's been depraved of sex for a long time, but the first time we did it, I ended up with lots of red marks all over my body. My knees had been bruised, too, that I ended up wearing pants for the whole week, even though I really prefer to be in a dress or a skirt.

"Okay," he replied as his lips went further south until he was between my legs yet again. I closed my eyes and pulled his hair as I tried to even my breathing. God, this man and his tongue. Archie made me lift my left leg up and rested it against his shoulder. Halos hindi ako maka-hinga sa ginagawa niya sa akin. But even before I could come, he pushed me against the wall, bent me, and place both my hands against it.

"Condom," I said as I felt his fingers going inside.

"Do I really have to?" he asked as I felt him holding his dick and rubbing it against the skin of my ass. "I'm only fucking you, you know that."

"Condom," I insisted. It's my body and no one will protect it aside from me. I'm going to marry him, but I really didn't trust him and I have no idea what he does on the side. Until then, he'd have to do with a condom.

So, I was there, my hands against the wall and my ass perched against him. I heard the familiar sound of the wrapper against his teeth and a few seconds later, my lips parted as I felt him stretching me. He held my waist as he began to relentlessly thrusting. I bit my lower lip as I stopped my head from hitting the wall. Thankfully, Archie finally realized that he was giving me a concussion by fucking me from behind against the wall. Agad niya akong binuhat at hinagis sa kama. I almost shrieked when he pulled me by my legs and lifted my legs until they're at both sides of my head.

"How can I get you pregnant if I'm always using condom?" he asked as he continuously thrusted. I almost lost my shit when I saw him licking his two fingers before he used them to rub my clit. Agad akong napa-kapit sa unan.

"I told you, we'll hire surrogate," I replied as I tried to catch my breath.

"How will the public perceive that, Nadia?" he asked as he went faster. "How can we be the perfect family if you can't even carry my child?"

Oh, fuck.

Why was sex so good?

"I–" I said, but stopped as I chased the high first. I was heaving deeply as I tried to gather myself together, but Archie was still thrusting while he was trying to come. And I fucking came again as he did. Fuck.

Huminga ako nang malalim at saka naupo sa kama. I got the tissue from the nightstand and handed it to him.

"Did you bring extra clothes?" I asked because at this point, his pants were already creased and I was pretty sure that was a shot of his cum on his polo.

"Yeah, of course," he replied, breathing heavily.

"Let's go take a shower," I said. "We can't be late."

* * *

I already saw the cars of my relatives when we pulled up. I looked at Archie. He was wearing a light blue polo shirt, light brown chino pants, dark brown boat shoes, and Patek Philippe watch to complete the look. He's also got the clean-cut haircut that he's always wearing. His face was clean shaven. He really did look like a movie star wherein he plays that preppy kid.

"They hate me," he said.

"Yes," I confirmed.

"Wow, thanks."

"At least you won't be surprised," I told him as I checked my reflection. I was wearing a light purple sleeveless, square neck top, semi-loose white maong pants, white Oran sandals. I wore dainty diamonds on my ears and my neck. I was not a fan of pants, but I certainly did not need people looking at my knees and imagining the things I let Archie do to me.

I turned my head to look at him. "Remember–you're marrying me and not them. At most, you'll just see them once a week, so don't sweat this."

"Whatever."

Lumabas kami ng sasakyan. We walked side by side, not really holding hands because that would be too weird. My family will immediately know that something's wrong if they see me holding hands with somebody. That's just not me.

Upon going in, I introduced him first to my cousins, most of whom he already knew or always familiar with, before we went to the sharks. I introduced him to my parents first and as expected, they greeted him politely with a hint of disapproval. But Archie just continued to smile like he didn't know or he just didn't care–either way, good for him. He shouldn't care about my family's approval–the only approval we need was that of the public's.

My other uncles and aunties were nice to him, too, but that was just expected.

And finally, my grandparents.

"Abuelo, Abuela, this is Archie," I said.

I always suspected that there's some weird shit going on between the two of them. My grandparents, they're siblings. Abuelo is the de Marco and Abuela's the one who married and brought the GDL side of the family. But both their spouses were dead–I'd been suspecting foul play... but really, I'd never really know. We're one huge family and sometimes, it gets confusing. But I was thankful for the GDLs because they balance the evil that surrounded us.

"Archibald Gallego, Mr. President," he greeted, sounding... honored. Weird. Abuelo's always been like a house plant for me–he's just a huge display and it's always Abuela who's really controlling the shots. It was Abuela's idea for Abuelo to run for Vice-Presidency first and then started a huge rumor about the then President that eventually led to him being impeached. That's why my family has been in power for nearly a decade.

Sometimes, when I did not despise her, I was in awe of her brilliance.

Archie looked like he's going to kill me when I excused myself. He's a big guy–he could handle himself.

I was enjoying my food when my cousins started to surround me.

"Nadia, what the fuck," Psalm said, laughing.

"Jealous, are you?" I replied as I continued to focus on my food.

"Get off her back," Saint said.

Psalm snorted. "Shut up. You don't get to have an opinion when Abuela practically laid down a red carpet when you introduced Mary," he said. I immediately looked at Saint. How could I ever forget?

"Saint," I called.

"Yeah?"

"Do you care to introduce us to Preston?"

Agad na kumunot ang noo niya. "Huh?"

I smiled at him. "Archie and I–introduce us," I told him. He still looked a little confused—God bless his innocence. "I mean, we're practically family," I continued as I sweetly smiled at him and then looked at Archie who seemed like he'd faint at every given second.

"Okay?" he replied.

"This Saturday. Dinner," I said.

Natawa siya. "I'll tell Mary first."

I smiled. "I'm sure she'll agree," I just said as I began to plan on how I'd introduce Archie to Preston Suarez—probably the only person who can make my Abuela hold her horses.
