Chloe was about to start school soon. She still couldn't forget the events of her birthday though. Her father slapped her. Nobody else came. Her own mother ignored her. Chloe couldn't forget that. At school, it would be better.
     "Louis! I'm going to school in a few days. I'll be with Mariners and Sabrina and Juelika!" She exclaimed when her brother can home from a party. He smiled and bent down to Chloe's level.
     "Yes! And you'll make knew friends too! And learn things!" He told her. Chloe's eyes brightened.
     "Thank you Louis!" She hugged him. He looked down at her. Chloe saw that her brother's eyes were bloodshot and red.
      "Wow. You must be tired Louis. Your eyes are all red!" She giggled. He gave her a nervous look. Chloe giggled and slipped away. Her father's office door was open. She decided to surprise her dad when he got home. She found a good pace where she could see her father's desk perfectly. A little while later, Chloe heard the door close and saw her father sit down. A great "thud" thud.
      Andre sighed heavily. Another press conference. He looked at his brown paper bag. It was filled with scotch, the expensive kind. Andre lazily grabbed a glass from his desk. Pouring money down the drain like he was pouring the scotch into the tall glass.
     The tall glass toned down the sorrow. His wife, his one true love, was untrue. School meetings.
    "Yeah right." He muttered as he took a swig from the bottle. Andre pushed his blonde hair from his sweaty face. He grabbed a bottle of whisky from the bottom drawer of his desk. When the top fell into his hand, Andre cried. Stupid. He wasn't worth the fuss the people gave. The glass tinked as he shakily poured the dark whisky and tears into it's no-good void. Andre smiled weakly. At least no one was looking. Oh how wrong he was. Little to Andre's knowlage, there was someone else in thr room. She was small, and scared. Huddled in her father's office closet with tears streaming down her face, was Chloe. She only thought it was because her father as under work pressure.
