As Beyonce and Zheng Yun, alongside with his plus one, Po Mirae, waltzed right into the elegantly decorated event room which is filled with extravagance and is where the Grammys Awards ceremony is being held, the excited chatters and giggles went silent, with everyone all staring at Zheng Yun wide eyed, couldn't believe that the one who is called the youngest and most brilliant lawyer, who now they know is one of the honored guest because of his short career in music before he switched to become a lawyer, had personally attended this sort of event because Zheng Yun is also notorious for being either late, or not even coming to an event like this. Under everyone's scrutinizing gazes, Zheng Yun was gripping Mirae's hand tightly, feeling so anxious until Beyonce waved her hand, trying to ease the tension.

"Oh go on, don't mind Zheng Yun, Mirae and I. We were just having a little chat." At Beyonce's cheerful dismissal, everyone started to turn to each other, letting the conversation and laughter flow once again, and Zheng Yun let out a sigh of relief, was about to thank her, but his gaze was suddenly momentarily pulled by the announcement of the start of the event by the emcees, and he quickly pulled Mirae and Beyonce to a nearby seat, quickly realizing that it was time, that the Grammys Awards was starting.

"Ladies and Gentleman, boys and girls! Today is a fabulous, spectacular day! A day to celebrate the voices of today, and the voices of tomorrow!" One of the emcees started and the other emcee nodded, seemingly agreeing with the former.

"Of course Miguel. Today we are celebrating the amazing achievements of our musical talents around the globe, and to give tributes to the artists who had paved the way for our better tomorrow through their artistic gifts. Now, let us give our sincere and heartfelt tribute to the incredible artists who had contributed greatly to the musical world." At the second emcee's words, the whole venue darkened, and a screen began showing the names of the artists over the generations who had contributed greatly to the music industry as solemn music filled the air. As the names of the artists went by, some of the audiences seated were crying, some of them were hugging each other, some of them were trying to console those who are crying, and some of them, Zheng Yun included, was glancing emotionlessly at the screen, their eyes showing their anguish and pain, especially when the names of Zheng Yun's parents was shown on the screen, both of them fabulous singers who had contributed greatly to society by providing aid and free music classes to the poor and abandoned children, to give them hope for a better tomorrow, and as the tribute had come to an end, everyone stood up and gave a standing ovation, most of the audiences were wiping their tears as they did, showing their gratitude to the organisers for making this special tribute for the fallen artists. After the heartfelt tribute, every honored guests began giving their speeches, thanking everyone for their support, to make this event memorable, that each and every one of the audience is a bright star that will lead the future, until it was Zheng Yun's turn, and Zheng Yun stood up from his seat nervously to a strong and grand round of applause from the audiences, seeing Mirae nodded her head while Beyonce gave him a thumbs up, and Zheng Yun slowly walk up to the stage, his hands shaking, his mind was a bit blank, but he knew most of what he wanted to say.

"You.... can't be someone you want to be." Zheng Yun started, making everyone glance at him in surprise, before Zheng Yun took a deep breath and continued, his hands and voice shaky as he spoke. "That...... was the first thing that had come to mind after my parents' death due to that tragedy 10 years ago. Yes, I was only 10 when it happened, and it had shattered my whole world. From young till that moment, I was living a sheltered life, wanting to become a famous singer that could contribute to society like thy did, to make the world a better place for kids like me." Zheng Yun took a deep breath before continuing. "And that was the day that had made me stray from the path I took, to wanting to be an idol, to contribute to society. At first, I was lost, that I don't know what to do next, but someone helped me, pushed me away from that lost and winding path and instead found another path for me, where I could still contribute to society but in a different way, and I did it.... I did it without any hesitation." At Zheng Yun's words, some of the audiences shed tears at Zheng Yun's pain, that they couldn't believe how hard Zheng Yun's life was because of that tragedy, and some even vent their anger at that, that if they find the perpetrator, that they will personally put the perpetrator to hell, but Zheng Yun raised a hand, stopping everyone, before he spoke, this time his voice strong and resolute although there was a hidden pain showing through his voice. "Mr. Chao Yuan....as I called him....recognised my strength in literature and law, and had chosen for me to take law, to study the path he took and become a famous lawyer like him." At the name, everyone's eyes lit up with recognition, knowing who Mr. Chao Yuan is, because he was a famous lawyer who had solved many unsolved cases before his death, and they were amazed that a formal child idol like Zheng Yun could be a student of such esteemed person. "Mr. Chao Yun believed in me and here I am now, standing in front of you. Thanks to him taking me in as his student and godchild and raised me to believe in my strengths, that someday I could achieve my dream, to encourage me to improve on my skills and working even harder, here I am standing in front of you all now, a famous lawyer who had solved one of the hardest unsolved crimes in history, and a famous music producer on Youtube who had more than 10 million followers and growing. I am not showing this to boast about my strengths, nor am I showing this to mock all of you, but I am showing this to all the kids that you can be who you want to be, that you can succeed just like me! I know that your life is hard right now but trust me, TRUST ME, that there will be a day where your talents will be appreciated, that you will stand among giants in this dark world, and I WILL always be by your side, although not physically, but spiritually, guiding you all to find your path, and I will hold your hand, slowly helping you all to inch towards the light, because that is what I will be, your guiding light, to bring you to a better future, a BETTER tomorrow, and all you need to do is to TRUST me! That is all for my speech, thank you." As Zheng Yun bowed deeply to the audience, everyone in the audience all clapped loudly, some of the audiences whooping loudly from the top of their lungs, all of them cheering for a man who had been knocked down by life, but was slowly able to find his life again, who is a man called Zheng Yun, and Zheng Yun smiled, waving as he went down the stage, and the emcees came up to the stage, thanking Zheng Yun for his amazing speech, but out of a sudden, a tick sound was heard, and everyone glanced around, eyes wide when they heard a sound of someone breathing heavily, and before anyone could react, a man amongst the crowd collapsed onto the floor, losing consciousness rapidly, and at that moment, Zheng Yun and Mirae went into action, checking the man's pulse to notice that it was racing, and that the man's face was covered in sweat. At that moment, the security officers took that moment to arrive.

"Please stay away from the scene sir, madam. Tis' a crime scene." One of the security guards spoke, was about to push both Zheng Yun and Mirae away, but Zheng Yun and Mirae quickly produced their special ID, to prove that they are still in the NX team, and are the members, or in Zheng Yun's case, head, of the NX elite investigation team, and the two security guards nodded, letting Zheng Yun and Mirae continue, and Mirae quickly murmur something to the security guards and they nodded, going out of the scene a bit, and coming out with two pairs of gloves for Zheng Yun a few minutes later, which both Zheng Yun and Mirae nodded gratefully at the security guards, which nodded in return, walking out of the event hall to give Zheng Yun and Mirae some space, while one of them taking out their phone to call the police and ambulance, to inform them of the situation at hand.

"These.... these are....These are symptoms of poisoning...." Zheng Yun murmured after a while, checking the man's pulse again while also noticing the slight sickly and purplish green on the area of injection of the poison, and Zheng Yun cursed, finally confirming that the man was indeed poisoned, but the question is, from which type of poison is that poison and how did the perpetrator get ahold of these kinds of poison?

"Tch!" Zheng Yun clicked his tongue in frustration, began recalling the information that he had read about on poisons when he still studied in university, until he recalled one that has symptoms close to the one the man is having now, and he cursed, realizing that the man had been injected with treefrog poison, one of the poisonous types of poisons on the planet, and he knew that there is a type of cure for that kind of poison, but the price of it is not affordable for those who do not have the means to buy them.

"Mirae, quick! Follow my instructions to give the man extra minutes of time to live!" Zheng Yun instructed and Mirae nodded, and together, with Zheng Yun patiently giving instructions to Mirae while Mirae quickly did what he had instructed, Zheng Yun and Mirae managed to give the man extra minutes to live, and after 10 minutes, the police car and ambulance was spotted in front of the entrance of the building, and Zheng Yun helped the nurses to carry the man into the stretcher and into the ambulance, while Mirae did her best to tell the police the situation after showing her NX elite membership card, and after explaining the situation to the nurses and telling his guess of what the poison the man had been inflicted with, Zheng Yun rushed to Mirae's side, quickly giving the run-down of the situation to the police officers, and one of the police officers, a senior one, nodded, praising Zheng Yun for his quick thinking, and the police officers let both Zheng Yun and Mirae go after telling them that they will inform if there is any advancement on the case, and Zheng Yun nodded, gently patting Mirae on the shoulders before gently pulling her with him, both of them getting into the car where Zheng Yun's chauffeur was waiting for them.

"What are we going to do now, Zheng Yun?" Mirae asked after a moment of silence, and Zheng Yun finally spoke, his voice grave.

"We have to wait for any leads. For now, let's go back to headquarters." Zheng Yun said softly, and Mirae nodded, sighing softly, and Zheng Yun instructed the chauffer to head back to headquarters, and as they head back to the headquarters of NX, Zheng Yun sighed softly, glancing out of the window, and he wondered when everything will stop.

But little that he know that this is a start of something even sinister, something that will rock his world, since it is related to the incident 10 years ago.
