6 months later~

Byakuya's POV-
     It had been six months since Toko moved in next door and it's been an absolute nightmare.

     Not because she's rude or weird of course! It's me, I can't get over my feelings for her.

     I'd really like to be able to tell her but I'm absolutely horrible at love as my past relationships have so eloquently proved...I realized I was going to need a little more assistance.

     I arrived at the house of Makoto Naegi in mere minutes, it was a short walk from my apartment complex. As close as he lived to me I never saw him much so it's good to be able to catch up. I knocked on the door firmly, waiting for a response. The door opened revealing exactly who I expected to be there: Kyoko Kirigiri, his girlfriend.

"Byakuya, this is a surprise...come on in."

I walked into the living room to see Makoto on the couch. He waved at me and gestured for me to sit down. I did as Kyoko sat beside the smiling boy.

"It's nice to see you Byakuya! What's going on with you?" He asked with a grin.

"You see I actually need some help with something...this may come as a surprise to you but I have feelings for my next door neighbor. Her name is Toko. She's a lovely girl and I want to tell her what I'm feeling but love is so hard for me...what do I do?"

The pair looked at each other in surprise for a moment before turning back to me.

"I'd say you should tell her...seeing as she's right here." Kyoko said, calmly pointing to the stairs.

My face heated up in shock, what did they mean "she's right here?!"

"Komaru!" Makoto yelled, a moment later his little sister came into view with a figure trailing behind her, of course...it was Toko.

     She noticed me immediately and promptly turned bright red before running downstairs.

     "W-what are you doing here?! H-how do you even know Makoto?!" She managed to say while trying to compose herself.

     "We were "friends" in high school I suppose and I'm here because of...you." I said, looking down at the floor.

     The room fell quiet, Kyoko grabbed her boyfriend's hand and led him upstairs along with Komaru and left us alone.

      We both sat across from each other.

    "S-so what do I have to do with anything?" Toko stuttered.

     "Because I think I'm in love with you..."
