She slowly undid her shell like body to see the flying exceed, his blue fur,his wings, the green like bag tie on his neck, and his big smile.

"What's your name?"

"It's Lucy... Lucy Heartfila..."

The three of them still sat on the fluffy grass.

Lucy was slowly getting to know Natsu and happy little by little and seeing another side of the demon she never would've imagine there would be.

A Childish like side.

They danced, they sang, they even played till evening struck.

One of the maids had informed that dinner was ready to be served , and Zeref was also waiting for the two.

The three of them walk through the hallways to get to the dinning room, in silence.

Lucy was still uncomfortable of the thought of just eating with the same table with the black mage who lock her in a room for an entire month.

Happy had noticed this and bumped Natsu on the shoulder, who soon gave the blue cat a look of confusion.

Happy secretly pointed at Lucy so Natsu could understand how each step the 3 took, it seemed like Lucy was shaking even more.

(A/n: gosh, I haven't written in a while that I feel like this is my first time writing a chapter.)

"Hey, it'll be alright, I'll make sure that bastard doesn't lay a hand on you" he reassured with a smile.

Once they reached the dinning room Natsu had started to turn cold again and left some distance between Lucy and him.

"Little brother!" Zeref whined as he stood up from his seat, shoved the blonde out of his way and gloped his brother to the floor.

"What the hell?! Get off of me!" Natsu ordered. But his words sounded all messy by Zeref rubbing Natsu's cheeks with his fingers.

"You're so mean! Even when I tried to keep your soon-to-be-wife in this place when she tried to escape from here countless of times"

"But there are other ways than putting those chains on her!"

"It was the only thing I had that sent the most pain"

"What is wrong with you!"

"A lot of things"

"Alright that's enough, please , Lord Zeref get off of your brother so you two can start eating your meal the shefs have prepared" Inbel had said, ripping apart the two from the floor and dusting off the dust off of Zeref's robes.

"Mph, very well" he pouted and retreated to his chair and sat down to start eating.

Just to keep distance, natsu sat Lucy to the other side of the table with him and happy, just to get the crazy minded brother away from her.

They all ate quietly, Inbel's voice was the only thing that ringed from the four walls as he announced the list of things Zeref has scheduled this week.

Thankfully what he had scheduled for the week was out of the kingdom dinners with other kingdoms so it meant some peace for Lucy without fearing 24 hours a day of the psycho maniac of a Emperor.

When they all finished their dinner they broke apart. Zeref had to get ready to leave tonight to the trip to the other kingdom and Natsu just stood up and walked away without a word being said.

Soonly Lucy quickly left in pursuit of natsu, who had disappeared from her in the halls.

"That's odd, he only left a few seconds before us" happy said as he flew around with his white wings spread out.

The two of them walked from left to right and there was no sign of natsu.

"Boo!"

Lucy and happy screamed as loud as they could, terrified of what had came up to them from behind. Natsu bursted in laughter, their faces were priceless.

The blonde and the exceed, now furious to the point on wanting to punch natsu for doing that started to chase him in every hall the salmon haired demon ran in to escape.

At the end they gave up and called it a thing to solve later on, it was already dark for them to do anything else so they all agreed to call it a night.

"You're sleeping in my room" Natsu boldly stated and swooped Lucy into his arm and headed to his bedroom.

" Wait, I don't think that's allowed"

"Says who?"

"......"

"Exactly, I don't want the weird brother to come at you at night and do weird shit, and at least I'll be able to protect you from him, because by the time I do get there who knows what he has done to you."

After imagining the weird things Zeref could possibly do ,Lucy stoped protesting for natsu to put her in a seperate room and just let him take her to his room.

Natsu kicked opened the door and kick it back close once happy had flew in and layed Lucy on the bed.

"You stay here, the door is locked so I'm going to go in the bathroom and change out of these clothes, you're clothes are folded up on that chair. You just tell me when youre done so that me and happy can come out"

Lucy nod and waited for natsu and happy to get in the bathroom and close it. Once the door was shut she looked around the room, it was neat and had that cozy felling to it.

When she was done changing into the clothes natsu had given her she told him it was okay to come out now.

"Just to let you know, we are also sleeping on the same bed"

"E-eh?"

While happy landed and made himself comfortable in his little bed Natsu turned off the lights and layed Lucy on the bed with him and pulled up the blanket up for warmth for this cold night it was.

" No buts, I don't want neither one of us sleeping that cramped couch or the floor, now good night you too"

"Goodnight" happy responded back.

".....alright...night"

                              ~*~(next day)

Morning soon came by with its bright shinning sun trying to peek into the room behind the curtains. Natsu slowly open his eyes and silently looked around his room, taking every detail in it, to the painted walls all the way to see his little blue friend all over his little bed with the sheets berly trying to hold on to the bed.

His gaze soon landed on the blonde who was soundly asleep.

He couldn't help but to intertwine his fingers into her messy morning yellow locks  and just petting her like she was a small animal.

He took In her features, she was like a goodest who was sent down from heaven.

When he felt like she was moving he soon panicked and pretended to be asleep, but the only thing he felt was something coming closer to him and wrapping arms around him

He peeked to see Lucy trying to cuddle up to him in her sleep, her arms wrapping around Natsu's body. He then hugged her and rested his chin on her head.

Sorry for not being able to update, school has worn me out so much .

But finally this weekend I was only assigned to do one homework (yes the other weekend I was assigned a bunch of projects and homework) and this is 4 weeks I think...i don't think I'll survive...but I guess this is what I get for putting every class pre ap  except for algebra (biology will be an over kill,I'm like berly passing with a 70 because my class is behind due to loss of time from events ) you can tell that in my profile on the activy page that I haven't been active because of school. 

And also, I went back recently from My last updated title "no hope"and I've got to say, all of you reader's comments.....Me-> (T-T) I'm so sorry for making you all wait.

This is like the 4th time I had to re- write this authors note Since weeks pass by fast and then they turn into months.

But anyway, hope you all liked that I finally updated and vote for this chapter as well (we are almost There to 1k views!!)
