The Potter twins are as close as twins can get. Stuck together in a tiny cupboard in a house full of people who hate them to the core, they only have each other to rely on. Being the elder twin, Harry usually takes part of his twin's beating, helps him with his homework and chores as well as gives him part of his food. But this doesn't mean the younger twin is an ass and uses this to his advantage, no, he loves and cares for his brother just as much. One day, after a rather harsh beating, the boys cries themselves to sleep, wishing to be somewhere else, a place where they would be loved. They never expect their wish to come true or that the place where they would be loved is Japan, 500 hundreds years ago.

They grow up with other kids under the care of a crane yokai called Ubume. All of them have one thing in common, they are all children who needed love. Some came from neglectful families, abusive families and others are orphans. As the years pass, the children grow up and goes away as others are taken in. The Potter twins, now known as Natsu and Fuyu, train themselves to help Ubume and other yokais like Aoandon, Sakura no Sei and Kubinashi. The yokais repay them by teaching them how to control their magic, which was apparently the reason why strange things happened around them.

When they are 15, a strange circle appears under them and they are whisked away right in front of their yokai family and lands inside a dark room with a bunch of weird people speaking a funny language. After a couple waves with their sticks, those weird people suddenly can understand Natsu and Fuyu, and vise-versa. Apparently, they were wizards and they think Natsu is some sort of savior...(?) The two are also forced to enter a school called Hogwarts (why would anyone want to name a school that is completely out of the twins comprehension).

Now, the school year has started and they will have to deal with a bitch of teacher, a grudge-holding professor, a manipulative headmaster, an evil dark lord set on destroying them and most of the school population trying to separate them because Natsu was sorted into the house of Nue while Fuyu is sorted into the house of Yamata no Orochi... That's a lot on their plate... But, whatever, they've been through worse together. Be prepared, Hogwarts! Summer is coming but so is winter!

Things to keep in mind:

- The Potter twins care deeply for each other. There isn't enough wbwl fic where the twins actually get along out there.

- The 'weird people' who summoned the twins are obviously The Order of the Phoenix.

- Fuyu (meaning 'Winter') is Harry and Natsu (meaning 'summer') is his twin.

- In a fight, Natsu is best with close range attacks and Fuyu is best with long range attacks.

- The house of Nue is Gryffindor whilst the house of Yamata no Orochi is Slytherin. The reason I made the Potters say this is because I don't think there were lions in Japan back then so the Nue is the closest thing. And because Gryffindor mascot is now a yokai (only in the Potters' eyes though), might as well give the other houses the same treatment.
