Jeongguk pulls a hoodie over his t-shirt before walking out of his room, immediately going to talk to Yoongi about Taehyung.

"Don't tell me, let me guess," The older says without looking up from his phone. "Taehyung's last appointment was today and you're finally ready to accept the fact that you're falling for him."

"I'm not falling for him," Jeongguk says leaning against Yoongi's desk, a distant look in his eyes. "He thinks he hasn't made any progress since we started seeing each other."

"He still hasn't screwed his boyfriend, so I guess he hasn't." Yoongi says looking up at Jeongguk. "What's the big deal?"

"His boyfriend's an idiot," Jeongguk says turning to Yoongi. "Taehyung said he doesn't even want to touch him since he told him he was...y'know."

"What? Intersex?" Yoongi asks. "I thought he said he didn't freak out."

"He didn't, he just avoids touching him and stuff." Jeongguk says. "He sounds like a total dick. He completely shot him down when he tried the bondage thing. I mean, who the fuck doesn't like bondage?"

"It's an acquired taste," Yoongi shrugs. "And just because you still want to fuck Taehyung after hearing about his trauma doesn't mean his boyfriend does. He's know Taehyung a lot longer than you have."

Jeongguk rolls his eyes. "Whatever, I'm leaving, you should too."

"What about your three thirty?" Yoongi asks before he walks away.

"Cancel it, I'm not feeling like the sweet version of myself today." Jeongguk says walking back to his room to grab his bag.

When he returns, Yoongi stands waiting for him with his things ready to go. "Are you really in the dumps over this guy?"

"I don't want to talk about it." Jeongguk says clicking around the computer behind Yoongi's desk until he's signed off for the day.

"Let me get you lunch, to make you feel better." Yoongi offers. "Anything you want."

"I'm probably just gonna go home and change. I'm craving caffeine so I'll probably go out for some coffee or something." Jeongguk shrugs. "Thanks though, hyung, I appreciate it."

"I thought you were avoiding coffee after three." Yoongi says as they head out together.

"I gave up on that," Jeongguk chuckles, Yoongi really does remember everything he tells him. "I'll see you tomorrow, okay?"

"Be careful," Yoongi says before they go their separate ways in the parking garage.

Jeongguk wasn't going to admit he was down in the dumps over his last meeting with Taehyung, but he knew it was true.

He just felt like they had more to work on together, more to overcome.

"You've got tables to clean, Tae."

Taehyung sighs as he grabs a rag and a bottle of cleaning spray. Seokjin was being unnecessarily overwhelming today since his mom was working with them today.

Ever since he got promoted to manager he's been a pain in the ass, but it's worse when his mom's around.

"Don't look so excited about it." Mrs. Kim jokes from behind the register. "You've only got six hours to go."

"Six hours? You said I was only here until Hobi came in." Taehyung says looking at her.

"Hobi's not gonna make it," Seokjin says looking over from the drink station.

"You don't have anything better to do, do you?" Mrs. Kim asks. "You act like I'm not paying you."

"I just wasn't expecting to spend my night in an Internet cafe." Taehyung says rolling his eyes as he walks from behind the counter.

"Cheer up, sweetie." His mom says heading to the back. "Hurry so you can take the register for Seokjin."

Taehyung shakes his head in annoyance, he hated when his mom sprung eight hour shifts on him out of nowhere.

He's wiping down the last of the tables in the back when the bell chimes, signaling another customer. He walks back to the front to get the register for Seokjin, wanting to avoid being scolded by him anymore today.

He stops in his tracks when he sees a familiar dark haired man walking towards the counter. Even with the black mask covering his Taehyung immediately recognizes him.

It's strange not seeing him his usual black t-shirt and black sweats, instead he wears a pair of oversized jeans matched with a dark blue sleeveless tee and a pair of heavy combat boots.

Taehyung reluctantly slips behind the counter. "I'll take drinks, hyung." He says standing next to Seokjin at the drink station, keeping his back to the register. He didn't know why he wanted to avoid Jeongguk, it felt awkward seeing him outside of their usual setting.

"I'm in the middle of this one, take the register." Seokjin says nodding towards Jeongguk. "I'm fine."

Taehyung nods, sighing to himself as he walks to the register.

"Taehyung?" Jeongguk asks when he sees him, taking his mask down to reveal kind smile.

"Oh, Jeongguk," Taehyung smiles. "I didn't even recognize you." He lies. "I've never seen you here before."

"Yeah, I'm usually working all day." Jeongguk shrugs. "It's actually my first time coming here, I usually go to the cafe on the north side."

"What brings you all the way here?" Taehyung asks. "You went out of your way if you live you on the north side."

"I was just driving around," Jeongguk says. "I had a lot on my mind."

"I get that," Taehyung chuckles. "What can I get started for you?"

"Just a black coffee, regular." Jeongguk says pulling out his wallet.

"You know people who drink black coffee are usually sadistic psychopaths." Taehyung jokes as he punches in the order.

Jeongguk laughs. "Or it just makes you someone who enjoys the simple things in life."

Taehyung smiles at him, looking back at Seokjin. "I just need a regular black, hyung." He says before turning back to Jeongguk.

"How much?" He asks waiting for the total.

"Don't worry about it," Taehyung says waving his hand. "It's on me."

"No," Jeongguk says. "How much, seriously."

"Don't worry about it," Taehyung chuckles as Seokjin hands him the drink. "Here, since you've had a lot on your mind."

Jeongguk takes the coffee. "Thanks. Y'know, I was actually gonna call you tomorrow."

"You were?" Taehyung asks, tilting his head in confusion. "Why?"

"Well, I know you said that you didn't think our sessions were helping, but I think they have been." Jeongguk says. "And I think we still have a lot to workout."

"Like what?" Taehyung asks.

"Like...I don't know, me, maybe, touching you." Jeongguk says making Taehyung's eyes widen.

"You can't~" He starts, laughing uncomfortably as he checks to make sure Seokjin wasn't listening to them. "You can't just randomly start talking about that, Jeongguk, I'm working."

"I know~ You're right, sorry." Jeongguk says quickly. "It was just something I thought about after you left today."

The bell chimes getting Taehyung's attention as Namjoon walks into the cafe. Jeongguk follows his eyes and he sees him walking towards the register.

"I won't keep you, I know you're working." He says looking at Taehyung. "I want to discuss it further, though, whenever you're free."

"Yeah, sure," Taehyung nods, smiling at Jeongguk as Namjoon nears them. "I do too."

"Cool," Jeongguk smiles. "I'll call you, alright?"

"Yeah," Taehyung nods. "I'll answer."

Jeongguk chuckles as he turns to leave, glancing at Namjoon on his way out of the cafe.

"I didn't think you were coming today," Taehyung says to Namjoon as he cashes out Jeongguk's order on the register, making a mental note to put the money in the register before he leaves.

"Who were you talking to?" Namjoon asks instead of acknowledging his statement.

"Friend," Taehyung shrugs, looking up at him. "What can I get started for you?"

Namjoon chuckles, looking off for a second in disbelief. "Taehyung, seriously? Are we in a fight right now or something?"

"No, I'm just asking you what you want." Taehyung says. "You did come here for a drink, didn't you?"

"Can we talk?" Namjoon asks. "Just for a second."

"Can't, we're short staffed, Hobi didn't show up today." Taehyung says looking down at his hands. "Do you want a drink or not?"

"Why are you mad at me?" Namjoon asks. "What did I do?"

"Sorry, Namjoon, now isn't the time for relationship issues." Seokjin says interfering. "We're expecting a rush at five and Taehyung needs to restock the drink station."

Namjoon sighs, deflating a bit. "Fine," he says. "Will you call me when you get off?"

"Sure," Taehyung says without meeting his eyes before turning to head to the back.

He wasn't upset with Namjoon, he was more so embarrassed about the way he acted last night. He felt like an idiot for even questioning Namjoon's attraction towards him.

When he gets home after work he doesn't bother calling, he felt like he needed time to himself and that was okay.

Namjoon was an understanding person, he'd understand that he needed a bit more time to gain the confidence to face him again.
