"Tell me what's wrong,"
Jeongguk shook his head, looking down at his phone as Taehyung sat down on the couch beside him. He didn't feel like dissecting his emotions right now, he didn't want to know why he felt like shit, he just wanted to stop feeling like shit.
"I can't help you if you don't tell me what's wrong, babe," Taehyung says, poking Jeongguk's cheek to make him look at him. "Please?"
"I don't know, Tae," He says locking his phone. "I can't tell if I'm sad or if my mind is just telling me I'm sad."
"Why are you sad?"
"I don't know,"
Taehyung nods. "Did you take your medicine?"
"You always do that," Jeongguk says rolling his eyes. "My medicine isn't some magical cure that'll make me feel better."
"I didn't say that~"
"Every time I tell you I feel bad you ask me~"
"I know, okay, I'm sorry," Taehyung says quickly. "I won't ask again."
Jeongguk sighs. "I just wish I could help it. I wish I could control my feelings."
"I know," Taehyung says scooting closer to him and putting his arm around him "Anything I can do to help I'll do. No matter what it is. Even if you just want to cuddle for twenty-four hours straight."
"Thank you," Jeongguk says, a small smile forming on his face.
"I love you, okay?" Taehyung asks. "I love you so much."
"I love you too," Jeongguk says. "I'm probably gonna go to the clinic for a while. I'm supposed to be processing some emails for Jimin."
"Okay," Taehyung say. "Will Yoongi be there? In case you need anything."
"He should be," Jeongguk lies, Yoongi barely showed up at the clinic these days, doing most of his work from home. "I'll text you when I'm on the way back."
"Okay," Taehyung says, his eyes catching the bruise blooming on Jeongguk's arm where his shirt is shifted. "Did you hurt yourself?"
"Hm?" Jeongguk hums, following Taehyug's eyes to his arm before pulling his sleeve down. "Yeah, I ran into my car door at the gas station."
"You should really be careful," Taehyung says.
"Yeah," Jeongguk nods as he grabs his keys. "I'll text you."
Taehyung watches him leave, his brows furrowing after the door is closed behind him. He waits a few minutes before he stands to go to the bedroom. He always tried to trust Jeongguk to take his medication, and most of the time he could. But whenever he saw his mood fluctuating he couldn't help but wonder if he was keeping up with it.
He opens the drawer on Jeongguk's side he finds an empty pill bottle. He looks at the prescription and sees that it is Jeongguk's current prescription. He frowns when he shakes the bottle, twisting the top off and finding a small plastic baggie inside.
"Oh my god..." He says when he takes the baggie out of the bottle, eyeing the white powder as a number of emotions rush through him. A million questions immediately enter his mind but he can only focus on the fear and worry in his chest.
He knew that Jeongguk had his struggles when it came to having bipolar, but he never once considered this to be a possibility.
He never once thought that Jeongguk would go this far...

Jeongguk checks the time on his phone, frowning when he sees a message from Taehyung asking him to come home.
He sighs as he sends him a text saying he was on his way. He felt drained and being around Taehyung only made him feel more drained. Especially when he was in a shitty mood.
He leaves the clinic, having barely gotten any meaningful work done. He didn't expect much from himself, it was a bad day, he never got much done on bad days. When he gets to the apartment he has to consciously pull himself together before walking in.
"Hey," He says looking over to where Taehyung stands in the kitchen as he drops his keys and phone on the table. "What's wrong? Why'd you need me?"
"I texted you hours ago," Taehyung says in a strange tone.
"I know, I texted you back as soon as I saw it," Jeongguk says walking over to him. "What's..." He trails off when he gets close enough to see his empty prescription bottle and the small baggie on the counter. "Taehyung~"
"What is it?" Taehyung asks, biting the inside of his lip as he looks up at Jeongguk--tears brimming in his eyes.
"Why are you going through my stuff?" Jeongguk asks as he goes to grab it, only for Taehyung to snatch it off the counter before him.
"What the hell is this, Jeongguk? Answer me," He says, his voice trembling slightly.
"It's not what it looks like," Jeongguk says. "Just~ can you give it to me, please?"
"Is this what you're doing now, Jeongguk? Seriously?" Taehyung asks narrowing his eyes. "Bringing drugs into our apartment?"
"Alright, I'm not fucking doing this," Jeongguk says walking away.
"Doing what?" Taehyung asks stopping him. "You don't get to bring this shit in here and not tell me what the fuck it is."
"I already said it's not what it fucking looks like!" Jeongguk snaps. "Who the fuck are you to try and confront me about anything, huh?"
"I'm your boyfriend, Jeongguk," Taehyung snaps. "You owe me an explanation. This isn't fucking okay!"
"I owe you an explanation?" Jeongguk asks, his eyes widening in disbelief. "Just like you owe me an explanation when you get drunk every morning?"
"That's different~"
"How? Tell me how." Jeongguk says. "You're a fucking hypocrite."
"Is this what you want to do?" Taehyung asks holding up the baggie before slamming it on the counter. "Then fucking do it, but you aren't doing it here."
"Fuck you," Jeongguk says snatching the baggie and the medicine bottle off the counter. "You get to judge me and make me feel like shit but the second I try to hold you accountable it's the end of the world, right? Because you can do no wrong, right?"
"Get out!" Taehyung snaps. "Go get high somewhere else!"
"God, you're a horrible fucking person," Jeongguk says walking to the front door. "I feel sorry for you."
"You should feel sorry for yourself," Taehyung spits before he leaves, slamming the door shut behind himself.
Taehyung's heart sinks the second he's gone, tears flooding his eyes as a short sob leaves his lips. He wants to go after him, he wants to tell him to come back, but he knows that it would just blow this argument even more out of proportion.
He just hoped he would come back eventually.

"Jeongguk?"
"I need to talk to you,"
Yoongi sighs as closes his front door, checking the time on the clock on his wall before following Jeongguk to the living room.
"You can't be here right now, Jeongguk," He says. "It's one in the morning."
"It's important, hyung," Jeongguk says facing him, a desperate look in his eyes. "I messed up and I don't know what to do."
"I can't talk right now, Jeongguk," Yoongi says. "Can this now wait until the morning?"
"No, I need your help right now, hyung. Please you have to help m~"
"What's going on?"
Jeongguk turns to see Jimin walking from the back, his hair disheveled as he crosses his arms.
"Can we do this tomorrow, Gguk?" Yoongi asks instead of answering Jimin. "It's not a good time."
"It's not a good time?" Jeongguk asks, narrowing his eyes. "Why isn't it a good time, Yoongi?"
"Jeongguk, seriously," Jimin butts in. "Why can't you guys just talk tomorrow?"
"I promise whatever it is, Gguk, we can figure it out tomorrow," Yoongi says. "Just not right now, okay?"
Jeongguk shakes his head as he looks between the two. "I might not be around tomorrow," He says as he walks away from them.
"What's that mean?" Yoongi asks. "What's that supposed to mean?"
"Leave him," Jimin says stopping Yoongi before he goes after Jeongguk. "He's just being dramatic."
"Why'd you have to walk out like that?" Yoongi asks. "What was the point?"
"What, did you want me to hide?" Jimin asks, rolling his eyes as he sits down on the couch. "How many times a week does he come crying like that?"
"I have to make sure he's okay," Yoongi says, he regretted making him leave now.
"Come here, Yoongi," Jimin says. "Just relax, he's an adult. He isn't your responsibility."
"I'm supposed to look out for him,"
"Doyun looks out for him,"
Yoongi sighs, reluctantly taking a seat next to Jimin. "Why are you here, Jimin?"
"What?" Jimin asks.
"Why are you here?" Yoongi repeats, looking over at him. "Is it because of Jeongguk?"
"Because of Jeongguk?" Jimin laughs incredulously. "Because of him...how, Yoongi?"
"I don't know," Yoongi says looking away.
"Yoongi, baby, look at me," Jimin says taking Yoongi's chin and making him look at him. "If I needed any excuses to fuck you—which I don't—Jeongguk wouldn't be one of them. Understand?"
"Yeah," Yoongi says pulling away from him. "I just don't get what it is we're doing here."
"We're having fun," Jimin says. "Don't over complicated things."
Yoongi ignores the pang in his chest as Jimin stands, taking his outstretched hand and letting him lead him back to his bedroom.
He can't get Jeongguk off his mind for the rest of the night.
