Jeongguk smiles as his final client for the day leaves his room, hugging her before she goes. His expression falls almost immediately after he shuts the door behind her.

He always felt like shit when getting back on his medication full time. He was taking mood stabilizer and sedatives that left him feeling exactly like everyone wanted him to.

He was back to himself. His tired-sad-anxious-moody self with a touch of suicidal thoughts that everyone seemed to love so much.

Sure he wanted to off himself, but at least he wasn't spending money that wasn't his and fucking like a maniac—right?

He sits down on his bed to write down his notes for the day. He feels heavy and useless, but feeling useless wasn't something he was new to.

Yoongi knocks as he walks into the room, holding a cup of tea in his hand. "Too much caffeine's not good for you while you're taking your medicine so I made you some tea."

"I don't want it," Jeongguk says without looking up at him.

"Are you still being an asshole?" Yoongi chuckles as he walks over with the tea, sitting it down on the nightstand. "Come on, let me change your sheets before your next appointment."

"I don't have anymore appointments," Jeongguk says, still keeping his eyes focused on what he's writing.

"You have one in an hour," Yoongi says. "Let's go, Gguk, stop dicking around and let me have them."

"Fuck, Yoongi, alright," Jeongguk snaps as he stands, brushing past him and walking to his closet to get new sheets.

"How long are you gonna be mad at me?" Yoongi asks as he strips the bed. "I don't think it's fair that you're mad. I wasn't mad at you after Doyun kicked my ass because of you."

"Fuck you, Yoongi," Jeongguk says coming out of the closet with the new bedding.

"Right, fuck me," Yoongi laughs. "Fuck me for giving a shit, right?"

"I regret ever fucking meeting you," Jeongguk says snatching the rest of the old bedding off the mattress. "I should've just left your sorry ass on the street~"

"Yeah, yeah," Yoongi says rolling eyes as he starts making the bed.

"I should've minded my fucking business," Jeongguk continues. "Maybe you would've froze to death when winter rolled around and I would've been saved a world of trouble."

"You would've killed yourself if weren't for me," Yoongi says. "Let's not forget about that. You were overdosing, like what, every fucking week?"

"I was getting my shit together," Jeongguk says pulling his corner of the sheet over the mattress.

"Oh, that's right, I remember. You were fucking your way through life like you always have been," Yoongi says. "How could I forget? Jeongguk, the prostitute, fucking a stranger for a job where he'd still be fucking strangers."

Jeongguk stops in his tracks, looking at Yoongi.

"Full circle, right?" Yoongi asks, laughing a little.

"Fuck you, Yoongi," Jeongguk says, cracking a smile despite how pissed of he is. "I fucking hate you."

"Is that a smile?" Yoongi teases. "A smile on a bad day is better than a smile on a good day, Jeongguk."

"Smiling when I want to cry makes me want to cry even more," Jeongguk laughs. "There's nothing good about that."

"Then shut up and help me with this," Yoongi says pointing to the other corner of the bed. "You should shower before your next appointment too."

"Alright," Jeongguk sighs as he helps him finish making the bed. "I'm sorry about before, hyung. I shouldn't have came to your apartment."

"You can come to my apartment anytime, Jeongguk," Yoongi says. "Just not when you're acting crazy."

"Fair," Jeongguk nods. "Are you sorry too?"

"No," Yoongi shrugs. "I meant what I said."

"You still think I'm manipulating you?" Jeongguk asks. "How? I know I can get crazy but~"

"I just meant that we would never work," Yoongi says. "We're too different, and we want different things."

"How are we different?" Jeongguk asks.

"I'm not the homeless guy you rescued from the streets five years ago, Jeongguk," Yoongi says. "I've changed, but you haven't. I don't need you to fix me, and you still need someone to fix."

"Well, you were right about one thing," Jeongguk says. "You aren't who I want right now. So you don't have to worry about me trying get with you. I wasn't thinking clearly before and I regret all of it, honestly."

"Nice," Yoongi sighs as he finishes off with the bed. "Get ready now, the day isn't over yet."

"Got it," Jeongguk says watching him leave before getting ready to shower.

"You're next appointment's here,"

"Okay, just send them in,"

Jeongguk sighs as he hangs up the phone, blinking a few times and trying his best to put on a smile. The door opens a few moments later his forced smile turns into a genuine.

"Taehyung?" He says in surprise as he stands to greet him. "I didn't know it was you."

"Yeah," Taehyung chuckles softly as he removes the mask and sunglasses he was wearing. "I hope it wasn't too much trouble that Yoongi squeezed me in last minute."

"He did?" Jeongguk asks, tilting his head in confusion.

"I know technically I'm no longer your client, I just thought this was a good enough excuse to come see you," Taehyung says. "Not talking to you for a few days was surprisingly difficult."

"Yeah, for me too," Jeongguk says. "I'm glad you came. Here come sit."

Taehyung follows Jeongguk to the bed, sitting down next to him. "How are you? How are things going?"

"Fine," Jeongguk shrugs. "I've just been missing you."

"Right," Taehyung chuckles. "If you missed me so badly why didn't you call?"

"I would've," Jeongguk says. "But Namjoon said you needed some space to process everything that's going on with your dad~"

"He did?" Taehyung asks, his eyebrows drawing together slightly.

"Plus, you did kind of tell me to go leave you alone," Jeongguk says, as if Taehyung needed a reminder.

"I regretted it after you left," He sighs, shifting towards Jeongguk and taking his hand. "I wanted to call but my pride got in the way."

"Pride can be destructive, y'know?" Jeongguk says jokingly as he intertwines his fingers with Taehyung's.

"From now on I'll try not to say things I don't mean," Taehyung chuckles. "And from now on unless you hear it directly from me don't believe it."

"Right, no more taking messages from Namjoon, got it." Jeongguk chuckles. "All jokes aside though, are you okay?"

Taehyung shrugs. "I think I'm managing fine. My mom has been bugging me about having dinner with her and my dad."

"Are you going to?" Jeongguk asks.

"I don't really have a choice," Taehyung says looking down at their hands. "If I don't I could lose my job at the coffee shop and my apartment."

"You think your mom would do that?" Jeongguk asks. "She should understand why you aren't comfortable seeing your dad."

"If my dad tells her to cut me off she will, she did it to my sisters," Taehyung says looking up at him. "When everything happened when we were younger my mom wasn't there. Her and my dad were separated for two years. No matter how many times we tell her she still believes him over us. So in her mind nothing ever happened."

"I'm sorry, Taehyung," Jeongguk says. "I can't imagine how hard that must've been for you guys."

"I keep telling myself that it doesn't matter what she believes, because I know what happened," Taehyung says. "But it still hurts...for her to completely disregard us. Even now."

"I believe you," Jeongguk says. "And enough people believed you the first time to get him sent to prison. The system failed you guys, and I'm really sorry about that."

Taehyung smiles softly at Jeongguk, squeezing his hand. "Thank you, Jeongguk."

"Yeah," He nods, offering him a sympathetic smile. "You know I'd go with you if you wanted me to."

"I wouldn't put you through that," Taehyung chuckles. "The situation's way too fucked up."

"I been in far more fucked up situations,"

    "I seriously doubt that,"

Jeongguk shrugs, moving closer to Taehyung and putting his arm around him. He lays his head on his shoulder, sighing and closing his eyes.

"What?" Taehyung asks laying his head on Jeongguk's.

"I'm tired," He says, it wasn't a lie. He was a number of other things at the moment but tired was the only thing he could pinpoint.

"Then you should go to sleep," Taehyung says reaching up and running his fingers through Jeongguk's soft hair.

"And miss a moment with you?" Jeongguk asks making Taehyung laugh.

"Maybe you'll see me in your dreams," He laughs.

    "If I do I hope it's a spicy dream,"

    "Fuck off,"

Jeongguk laughs, lifting his head and looking at Taehyung. He smiles softly as he examines his features. "It's not fair that you get to be so pretty."

"What's with you, huh?" Taehyung asks, smiling as his face heats up. "You know I can't take a compliment."

"It wasn't a compliment," Jeongguk says. "Honestly it makes me sick how cute you are. Like, how dare you be in my presence with skin as perfect as yours~"

"Shut up," Taehyung says taking Jeongguk's face in his hands and squishing his cheeks together. "You're the cute one here, not me."

"Compliments boost my ego so unless you want me to be a major asshole you better stop," Jeongguk says making himself laugh. "I'm serious, you're going to unlock a new character if you keep going."

"Are you suggesting that I haven't seen every side of you, Jeongguk?" Taehyung asks quirking his eyebrow.

"You've only scratched the surface of who I really am," Jeongguk says, there was truth behind his words but Taehyung still laughs as he lets his face go.

"How many characters have I unlocked so far?" Taehyung asks, still playing along with Jeongguk.

    "I'll say...three," He shrugs.

"And how many are there?" Taehyung smiles curiously.

"It depends on what kind of day I'm having," Jeongguk says. "I'm sure there are sides of you I've never seen."

"You've seen me through a lot as my therapist turned potential boyfriend so I'm not sure about that," Taehyung says. "But I'd love to discover new sides of myself with you."

Jeongguk smiles softly at his words, a sentimental look forming in his eyes.

"What?" Taehyung asks when he doesn't respond, poking his cheek playfully.

"Is it too soon to tell you that I love you?" He asks making Taehyung laugh yet again.

"You're crazy," He putting his arm around Jeongguk's neck before leaning in and kissing him.

Jeongguk holds back a smile as he kiss him back, wrapping his arm more firmly around his waist as he deepens the kiss.

Taehyung parts his lips, letting Jeongguk's tongue explore his mouth as he grips his hair gently. He hums into the kiss, his mind going blank as electricity courses through his body.

The kiss feels familiar and foreign all at the same time. Sending a new sensation down his spine that leaves him craving more.

He breaks the kiss, his head spinning as he rests his forehead against Jeongguk's.

"Stay with me tonight?" He asks breathlessly as he opens his eyes to look at Jeongguk.

"Yeah," Jeongguk says with a breathless laughs.

"I have to go," Taehyung says, smiling as he kisses Jeongguk once more. "I get off at eight, come by after?"

"Yeah," Jeongguk repeats as Taehyung stands and grabs his things.

"Oh," He says stopping short before he leaves. "And have fun taking care of your potential boyfriend boner after I'm gone. I hope you think of me."

"Fuck you," Jeongguk laughs, his face flushing immensely as Taehyung laughs and leaves the room.
