"What is your fucking problem?"
"Seriously, Taehyung, what's my problem?"
Taehyung flinches when Namjoon turns to face him, stopping short in the hallway.
"You're my problem right now!" Namjoon yells, his tone causing Taehyung to fall silent as he watches him storm to the living room.
"What did I do?" Taehyung asks when he gets to the living room.
Namjoon shakes his head as he pulls his shoes on, tying them quickly before standing and grabbing his bag. "Don't act fucking clueless, Taehyung."
"I'm not!" Taehyung says looking at him. "I don't get how any of this is even remotely related to Jeongguk."
"Really?" Namjoon asks narrowing his eyes. "You start seeing him and all of a sudden you start trying to fuck me before I even walk in the door~"
"That's the whole point of surrogacy, Namjoon!" Taehyung snaps at him. "That's what's supposed to happen!"
"I don't care, I don't fucking like it! I don't want you to fuck me because some other guy turned you on, I want you to fuck me for me!" Namjoon says throwing his hand up. "Is that too much to ask from you, Taehyung?"
"Do you even hear how ridiculous you sound?"
"Do you see how ridiculous you look? If you want to screw someone, go screw Jeongguk. Go screw your little fucking guinea pig. I'm not doing this right now."
Taehyung stands there in awe as the front door slams behind Namjoon, the walls shaking from the force. He groans as he sits down on the couch, pushing his hair out of his face.
He knew he shouldn't have called Namjoon, he didn't know what he was thinking. Of course he wouldn't fuck him just because he asked, he always wants a reason.
"What guy needs a reason to get laid?" Taehyung huffs, sitting back on his couch and looking up at the ceiling. Despite his argument with Namjoon, Taehyung doesn't feel bad.
He just feels extremely pent up.
He tried to ignore it after leaving Jeongguk, but he couldn't. Even his worry for Jeongguk wasn't enough to turn him off. Especially when the only thing he could think of was how big Jeongguk felt in his hand ~
"No, no, fuck," Taehyung whines, slapping his forehead to stop himself from finishing that thought.
If he was in his right mind, he'd probably be calling Namjoon right now and begging him to come back. Apologizing for being so pushy before.
Maybe in a few hours he'll be glad that Namjoon shot him down. He'll be glad that he didn't have sex with Namjoon for the first time with thoughts of Jeongguk running rapid through his mind.
Maybe, but at the moment all he wanted to do was get off. It was excruciating and he hated that he'd have to settle for doing it himself.
But it would do...for now.

"I'm sure he'll understand,"
"I was totally unprofessional,"
Jeongguk sighs as Yoongi hands him some coffee, looking down at the black liquid and watching the steam rise from the white mug.
"I think I screwed up, hyung," He says looking up at Yoongi. "You should've seen his face."
"I'm sure he'll get over it," Yoongi shrugs as he sits down across from Jeongguk on the bed. "He was as into it as you were, you didn't force him."
"It just felt wrong," Jeongguk says. "Because I wanted him so bad. I felt like I was doing it for me, and not for him. And the whole point of this is to help him."
"You're human, Jeongguk," Yoongi says. "Sometimes you can't always respond to a situation exactly the way you think you should. I'm sure Taehyung knows that."
Jeongguk sighs, glancing off in thought for a moment. "Should I call him tonight?"
"Maybe you should let yourself breathe until next week," Yoongi says. "I'll email him the confirmation for next week's appointment so he knows you're still meeting."
Jeongguk nods. "Thank you, hyung."
"You're welcome," Yoongi says. "Don't beat yourself up, Gguk. It's okay to screw up every once in a while. You aren't perfect, no matter how hard you try to be."
"Alright," Jeongguk chuckles. "Jimin's supposed to call me in an hour, I'll be waiting so you can send him right through."
"You got it," Yoongi says standing, patting Jeongguk on the back before leaving the room.
Jeongguk sighs, setting his coffee on the nightstand before laying down on his side.
He's tempted to call Tae, but he takes Yoongi's advice. He should give himself and Taehyung some time before they talked about today.
It was for the best.

"Hello?"
"Are you mad at me?"
Jeongguk pushes himself into a sitting position, fumbling blinding for the light and switching it on. He squints against the light, checking his phone for the time.
"Jeongguk?"
"Yeah, Tae, I'm here,"
He hears Taehyung sigh on the other line as he pushes the covers off of himself.
"I know I shouldn't call if it's not an emergency," Taehyung says. "But I can't take you being mad at me. Not you too."
"Are you drunk?" Jeongguk asks after noticing the strange twinge in Taehyung's voice.
"Will you mad if I am?" He asks instead of answering directly.
"No," Jeongguk sighs, rubbing his eyes. "You should go to sleep. Sleep it off and call me tomorrow."
"You sound mad,"
"I'm not mad, Taehyung, it's four in the morning."
Taehyung falls silent on the other line, the sound of him sniffling the only thing Jeongguk hears.
"Hello?" He tries after a while. "Come on, Tae, don't cry. Please? I'm not upset, I promise."
"I'm sorry," Taehyung says, his voice cracking. "I don't know what's wrong with me."
"I do, you're drunk-calling me at four in the morning when you should be asleep." Jeongguk says. "What's got you up?"
"You," Taehyung says, a humorless laugh leaving him. "I can't stop thinking about you."
Jeongguk closes his eyes, taking the phone from his ear as he sighs before bringing it back to his ear. "Will you go to sleep now that you know I'm not mad?"
"No," Taehyung says. "'Cause you still sound mad."
"Christ, Taehyung, I literally just opened my eyes less than five minutes ago. I'm not mad, I'm tired." Jeongguk says. "What else can I do?"
"Do you still want to see me?" Taehyung asks, his voice dropping slightly. "You don't have to if I make you uncomfortable now. I'll understand."
"Of course I want to see you," Jeongguk says. "I'm sorry about today. I never do anything like that. I don't know what happened..."
"I shouldn't have~"
"No, it's not your fault. It's mine." Jeongguk says before he starts to blame himself. "I was in my head when I should've been focused on you."
"What were you thinking about?" Taehyung asks.
It's a simple question, but the answer is so much more complicated. "I can't..."
"You can," Taehyung says. "I won't judge, I have zero room to judge."
Jeongguk sighs, he knew Yoongi would kill him if he heard this conversation. "I was thinking about...about how much I wanted you to touch me."
Taehyung chuckles softly on the other line. "If you freaked out that much about that, you don't even want to know the start of what I was thinking."
Jeongguk finds himself smiling a little, the embarrassment he felt slowly dissipating. "I don't?"
"No," Taehyung chuckles. "You definitely don't want to know that I jumped Namjoon the second I saw him because I was so turned on. I'll spare you the details."
"You had sex with Namjoon?" Jeongguk asks. "Really? That's great, Taehyung~"
"I didn't, he shut me down," Taehyung says. "He yelled at me and left."
Jeongguk frowns. "Why?"
"He told me to, and I quote, 'go screw my little guinea pig.'" Taehyung laughs. "I don't know what he wants from me anymore."
"I'm sorry, Taehyung," Jeongguk says. "Couples struggle with surrogacy all the time. I can email him and let him know that our relationship is strictly business. I've had to do it for people in the past."
"That'd be pointless," Taehyung sighs. "I've told him at least a dozen times and he still thinks there's something more between. It makes me wonder honestly..."
"Wonder what?"
"If there's something more between us."
Jeongguk falls silent. He couldn't ignore the way his stomach flutters, he wanted to blame it on raw desire. He kept telling himself that it was natural for him to be physically attracted to Taehyung. But he knew himself, and he knew that he's never felt what he feels for Taehyung for any other client.
"I'm being ridiculous, aren't I?" Taehyung chuckles. "Don't say anything, forget I said that."
"It's normal to be attracted to each other, Taehyung," Jeongguk says. "That doesn't mean anything emotionally."
"...You're right," Taehyung says, forcing a short laugh. "I'm sure you're physically attracted to most of your clients."
"...Right," Jeongguk says laughing shortly. "It's a chemical thing."
"Totally," Taehyung says. "We are mammals, y'know, it's like an animalistic instinct or something."
"Exactly," Jeongguk agrees. He takes the phone from his ear, screaming silently at the awkwardness before bringing it back to his ear. "You should try to sleep now, Taehyung. I'll be here to talk tomorrow if you want."
"Are you asking me to give you a non-work related call, Jeongguk?" Taehyung asks teasingly.
"Only if you want," Jeongguk says. "Unless you're too hungover, then you should rest and take care of yourself."
"You're so thoughtful," Taehyung says. "I'll call you tomorrow."
"Okay," Jeongguk says. "You hang up first."
"Okay," Taehyung chuckles. "Bye."
"Bye," Jeongguk says, sighing when he hears the line die. He groans as he turns his light off and curls back up in bed.
He hears Yoongi's voice in his ear talking about breaching his contract, but it is drowned out by the sound of his own heart hammering against his chest.
He drifts back to sleep with thoughts of Taehyung, a smile playing on his lips as he dozes off.
