I knew I shouldn't have trusted a peasant girl to impersonate the Princess, even if she had been under my spell. My home kingdom, lost. Now this one. Now, I was in chains again by the not-so-dead Princess's guards. The Princess's word echoed in my head. "Take him to my friend." In her weird pirate accent. Who was this friend?"Where are you taking me?" I asked the guards.

They just grunted. Suddenly, the guards stopped moving. I looked around. We were on the outskirts of Kingston Harbor, heading into Azul. The sea glinted far off to my right. The gates of the kingdom were tiny specks behind me. If I listened closely, I could hear the sound of hooves in the distance. The hoofbeats slowly grew louder, coming from my right, until they came to a stop in front of me. I tried to look up, but the guard shoved my face in the dirt. I caught a glimpse of white hooves. My eyes traveled up the horse's legs, and the rider's holey jeans. A blue cape draped over the horse's flank inhibited by the horse -no- alicorn's wings, and two lumps on the girl's back that looked suspiciously like wings. Under the owner's blue cape, an orange camp shirt was clearly visible. Her blonde hair streamed down her back, topped with her royal crown. The alicorn sniffed as if even it was disgusted with me.

"Colbin Siren, you have been very crim-in-al-is-tic these past few years." She said coyly.

"Q-Queen Neptuna! I b-beg y-your pardon." I stammered.

" What do you think?" she asked her siblings. "Should I pardon him?"

I nodded furiously.

"Or dismiss him?"

The fear rose in my eyes.

"I like jail." The boy to Neptuna's left calmly responded.

"Just dismiss him and be done with it." The girl to Neptuna's right said. I remembered her Queen Coral, and I had stolen jewels from her before.

"Don't mind if I do," Neptuna told her twin, eyes sparkling mischievously.

I braced myself for the words.

"Colbin Siren, I dismiss you." The Siren Queen said. I felt my life slipping away into fragments as I died a painless, but incriminating, death.
