Chapter Fifteen
Not only did Ji an not remember Junseo, but she also couldn't remember her friends or family. She was a complete blank slate. She felt lost and confused, and it was starting to take a toll on her mental health.
Her friends and family tried to reach out to her, but she pushed them away.
"I'm not who I used to be" She said, her voice shaking.
"I can't be the person you knew. I don't even know who that person was." They tried to convince her that she was still the same person inside, but she didn't believe them.
Junseo was taken aback by Ji an's sudden outburst. "What?" he asked, his heart breaking. "You're the only one who's been by my side this whole time.
"How can you say that?" Ji an's eyes flashed with anger. "You're just a stranger to me," she said. "I don't know you. I don't know anything about you. Just go away."
Junseo felt like his world was falling apart. He had given everything to help Ji an, and now she was rejecting him. But he knew he couldn't give up on her.
One day, Jian was going about her usual routine when she realized something was missing. There was a hole in her day, where Junseo should have been.
She felt an ache in her chest, a longing for something she couldn't quite name. She realized that, despite everything, she had grown used to his company. She didn't want to be alone anymore. She wanted him by her side. And she knew that, whether she remembered him or not, she needed him in her life.
Jian decided to take a chance. She asked Junseo to meet her for coffee. He was surprised, but agreed.
As they sat across from each other, she told him how she was feeling. She explained that she didn't remember him, but she wanted to try to get to know him again. Junseo smiled, a look of relief and hope in his eyes. "I'll be here for you, no matter what," he said. "We can start over, from the beginning." And so they did, one cup of coffee at a time.
As time went on, Jian's resolve began to waver. She found herself growing impatient with the process of getting to know Junseo again. It felt slow and tedious, and she missed the closeness they had shared before.
When Junseo mentioned that he was considering a university which had accepted him, Jian was surprised by her own response. She told him to go, without any hesitation.

Junseo was at the airport, about to board his flight, when he heard his name being called. He turned around and saw Jian running towards him, her face flushed and her eyes wild. "I remember!" she cried, her voice filled with emotion. Junseo's eyes widened. "You remember?" he asked, hope and disbelief warring in his heart.
Jia nodded, tears streaming down her face. "Everything. The accident, our life together, our love." Junseo pulled her into his arms, holding her tightly.

As Jian stood there, frozen in place, the words of the scene washed over her. "Junseo, I love you," the actress playing Jian said, her voice full of emotion. "I have loved you since the moment we met." Jian's heart was pounding in her chest, as she relived the memories that were flooding back to her. It was as if she was watching a movie of her life, playing out before her eyes.

The news anchor's voice was grave as he reported the story. "An Assembly man has been arrested for attempted murder of a high schooler," he said, his face somber.
Ji an's heart pounded as she watched the report, knowing that the businessman was Rachel's father, the camera cut to Rachel and her mother wailing, she looked shaken.
She was being led away from the police station by an officer, her head held high. But the fear and pain in her eyes were impossible to hide. Ji an's heart went out to her, even though Ji an herself was the victim.
Rachel boarded the plane, her heart heavy with grief and shame. She thought about what her father had done, and how it had destroyed her family.
She knew that she couldn't stay in the same place, surrounded by the memories of what had happened. So she was leaving it all behind, in search of a new beginning.
She didn't know what lay ahead, but she knew thathe had to try. As the plane took off, she wiped away her tears and prayed for a brighter future.

Meanwhile, Tae Jun and Jukyung had a date in the new café close by. They were celebrating graduation which was drawing nearer and their relationship.
Jukyung walked up to the Cafe, her heart beating a little faster than usual. It was her first date with Tae Jun, and she was nervous. But when she saw him, her nerves melted away.
He was handsome and charming, and he made her laugh. As they talked over and over, she found herself forgetting about everything else. She felt like she could talk to him about anything, and he seemed to feel the same way.
As Jukyung watched the waitress flirt with Tae Jun, she felt her stomach churn with jealousy.
The waitress was beautiful, with long, silky hair and a dazzling smile. She laughed at everything Tae Jun said, and touched his arm a little too often. Jukyung's heart sank.
What if he was interested in the waitress? What if he liked her more than Jukyung? She felt a mix of sadness and anger, and she wasn't sure what to do.
Tae Jun could tell that something was wrong. "Is everything okay?" he asked, reaching for her hand. Jukyung hesitated, not wanting to seem insecure.
But then she decided to be honest. "I saw the way that waitress was flirting with you, and it made me feel a little jealous," she said, her voice shaking a little. Tae Jun looked at her with a gentle smile. "I'm sorry if that made you uncomfortable," he said. "But I want you to know that my heart only beats for you."
Jukyung smiled, relief washing over her. "I'm glad to hear that," she said, squeezing his hand. "Because I only have eyes for you too." Tae Jun leaned in and kissed her. "I hope that kiss drives all your worries away," he said, his voice low and tender. Jukyung felt a flutter in her heart.
She knew that she was the luckiest girl in the world. "I think it did," she said, her voice barely above a whisper. And they stayed there, wrapped in each other's arms, until the stars came out in the sky.
