The fire dimmed as the young ones slept Garroths head on top of Aphmau's as the prince snored softly. The sun rose and gleamed light in small patches of the natured surroundings.

Garroths eyes slowly flittered open as he realized he had been sleeping against a hard ok tree. He shot his hand towards his back to aid the pain sifting through his spine. He turned to his left shoulder to see Aphmau sleeping softly. He could only smile at his young friend as she breathed in and out quietly.

It hurts him so bad that he will have to leave her.

"Aphmau..." Garroth whispered as he slightly nudged her.

"mm.." She huffed out turning over. Doing so she lost support of the tree and tumbled to the ground. She immediately shot up startled as she looked around franticly.

Garroth could only start laughing, she looked so silly the way she was acting.

"We have to be leaving soon... Zane won't be to happy if we are a minute of our schedule." Garroth said still chuckling at Aphmau's shocked face turning to an annoyed one.

"Shut up you jerk!" She inquired as she started to giggle as well then shoving Garroth in a playful manner.

The both laughed for a while longer never wanting the time to end. Afterwards they both smiled at each other in a way that they felt as if they couldn't look away. Garroth saw Aphmau starting to blush as they began to come closer.

"Brother! We are late! I don't want to wait a second longer! Lets move!" Zane shouted from the carriage. He cared little of where Garroth was so he did not see the position his brother was in.

Immediately after the interruption both Garroth and Aphmau broke eye contact like snapping out of a trance.

"W-Well you heard him. Lets be going." Garroth said awkwardly. He stood up not taking a single glance at Aphmau as he jumped onto Kuma.  

"Y-Yeah." Aphmau could only stutter as she followed behind.

...

The loud noises of people talking and children playing could be heard as the princes and the commoner arrived to the village of Meteli. Joy was all around as they all went through the glorious village. At least until they arrived to a small orphanage just outside of Meteli.

The clouds seemed to darken as they pulled in front of the old crimpled building. The children outside did not play or smile. They only sat away from each other with no eye contact what so ever. Only gloom hovered around.

"Aphmau." Garroth said in a low voice. "Go explore the village meet back here in an hour alright?"

Aphmau nodded with a sad look as she climbed down from the ghostly horse and dreadfully walked away.

Garroth new how kind hearted Aphmau was inside and new she felt bad for the orphans she had seen. It was best that she explored the town since they could only bring back one.

Garroth then jumped off of his horse and tied him up by a nearby tree and fetched his baby brother to have him receive his new play mate.
