Garroth paced nervously on his podium with his family just waiting for the right time to leave. Over the years it became harder and harder to sneak away from auctions to see his only friend. Mostly because of his younger brother Zane who was going through his taddle tale faze. The buying finally started as he heard the nonsense coming from an old mans mouth.
He snuck down the small stage and kept his body low so he would not be seen.
"Master Garroth, where are you heading?" He heard a dark voice say.
"Uh, Guard Raymond I'm sorry to worry you I'm just on my way for a small break if you know what I mean." Garroth quickly responded as he turned around and bowed to his guard.
"Geez Garroth you know you've token breaks a lot lately." He paused and Garroth tensed thinking he won't get away with his small lie." Go ahead, make it quick."
Relieved Garroth Ran toward the small fields where he was supposed to wait for his friend. He ran down the hill and by the small patch of Algerian Irises where he plucked one from its flower bed. Then sat down by a small patch of white lily's and waited.
"So you actually showed up. Not surprised, you invite me every time you come down from your big fancy palace." He heard a familiar light voice from behind him.
"A- A- Aphmau!" He said. He twisted his position to see is female friend looking down on him with a small little smirk. Her golden eyes shined brightly upon him and he new she was happy to see him even though she didn't show it in her facial expressions.
He stood straight like he was taught in his lessons then bowed slightly and held out the flower he had picked earlier, "Milady I offer you, an Algerian Iris which is your favorite flower in which its shade makes your eyes glow when I represent it towards you." She takes the Iris from his hand then laughs aloud as if his practice was hilarious.
"Wow Garroth, this is what they teach you? Keep this up and I won't know you anymore!" She giggled as she held the Iris in her right hand.
Garroth surprised began to laugh along, it was never like him because his family was so strict but he was laughing! Enjoying himself! And during that moment he felt himself blush. It wasn't how he usually felt when he blushed from embarrassment. It felt like he had butterflies souring around in his stomach, like he felt compelled to be with Aphmau. He was only 8, he didn't understand. Why did he feel this way? What's going on with him? Why can't he, Garroth, Understand what in the world his emotions were?
These questions will be answered IN THE NEXT CHAPTER!!!! MWUAHAHAHA!!!!!!!!!!!!!
