Chapter 10
3rd Perspective
"So, you shot an innocent man to prove yourself?" Zander waved his hands. He accent sounded so much like Liz's.
"He wasn't that innocent if you ask me," Liz said. Zander rubbed his head in dispair. "What, I was proud at that time to shoot him, okay. Now, not so much."
"Not so much? Did you even leave bounty hunting behind?" Zander was anger at Liz.
"So what if I missing being a bounty hunter a little bit? That doesn't mean I will go back to being one," Liz complained.
"You know, it doesn't matter. Go on," Zander leaned against a table.
*Beginning of flashback*
Jabba paid Liz and Bossk and they were off. Liz started to get more attention as she got more credit for her work. Liz came out of the shadows and finally showed her face, much more bounty hunters started to notice her work as well. She also started to get feared my various of different people around the galaxy.
The people admired how well Bossk and Liz get along. Most bounty hunters turn on each other if the other one will get more credits. Yet, with Liz and Bossk having their own way of hunting down their target, they had a few issues. And with people starting to notice Liz and Bossk separate, they had trouble.
Bossk and Liz were not getting known as partners. More and more somebody will hire one of them and only one. Even if they both help out, the credits will only be enough for one of them. They weren't able to work together as much anymore, which made their friendship and partnership slowly slip away. For days they would not see each other, busy with their own target. Rarely talking face to face, Bossk would have to pick her up due to Liz not having her own ship.
"Bossk," Liz said, shyly. It was late at night. 23 o hundred to be exact. (11 pm, I don't know how you say it) Bossk was sitting in the cockpit, eating something.
"Yes?" He turned to her. He stopped chewing his food.
"I think it's time to go our separate ways," Liz cringed. She's been meaning to tell him for a month now. Bossk pushed his food away and was about to speak. "I didn't mean for it to sound rude or anything but, you have to admit, this was going to happen sooner of later. We both barely work together anymore."
Bossk nodded, "I was going to agree, Liz. You have your own way of hunting down our target and I have mine. This partnership wasn't going to last long, we both knew it."
"Good, I was worried you were going to get mad."
"Well, I didn't." Bossk dragged his plate back. "There's only one problem."
"What is that?" Liz asked.
"If we are going to split up you need a ship. And you don't have one."
"Easy, I have more than enough credits to afford a ship," Liz took out a credit from her pocket. Liz has been saving up for the past few months, having more than 1,000 credits waiting for her in her backpack.
"Okay, you'll go buy your ship tomorrow," Bossk got up and went to his room. He had a gloomy face, he was going to miss Liz. Just a little bit, nobody has stuck around with him for that long.

"Here you go," the seller said. Liz has now bought her own ship. Even though she bought the ship on her birthday, a 13 year old can mange a ship. The ship was medium sized, had two cabins, one having a bunk bed, a main hold, and a loading dock. The starship also had a rear gun, two missile launchers and a small, yet large storage area. (Imagine the size of the Ghost except it's smaller)
"Thank you," Liz paid 675 credits for it, it was a good offer on her opinion.
She got on the ship and entered the cockpit. Two chairs at the front and two in the back. The two front chairs could control the missiles, hyperdrive, the com's around the ship, mostly everything. The cockpit had two screens monitoring the main hold and loading dock. She ignited the ship and flew the ship to where Bossk's was.
Bossk was waiting outside his ship when Liz finally arrived.
"You're late," Bossk said. Liz walked out of her ship.
"I'm sorry. I had to buy fuel on my way," Liz replied. The fact that she still apologizes for something like that proves she hasn't lost her manners.
"Yeah, yeah, whatever. Go get your weapons and then it's time to say good bye," Bossk moved out of her way. Liz nodded and went into the ship.
Liz got all her weapons, which included bombs, blasters, her bow and arrow, and other big stuff. She brought her backpack that had extra clothes and her other credits. Bossk was exploring Liz's ship and had to admit, it was a good ship. He came to the ramp and Liz was alreadg there.
"This is it," Liz swung her backpack over her shoulder. "Time to say our good byes."
Bossk step on the rocky ground, so did Liz. Bossk walked up to her.
"Well then, see ya around kid," Bossk went to his ramp. Liz smiled and walked to hers. "Oh and by the way."
"Yeah?" Liz turnes around
"Don't be such a softy."
Liz chuckled, "I won't."
Bossk closed his ramp. She saw Bossk enter the cockpit and he flew his ship away. Liz set her things down and went to the cockpit. She started up the ship. Liz checked the scanners.
"Okay, seems clear. No TIE fighters are around nor stormtroopers," Liz laughed. "Looks like Bossk's training paid off."
Liz sat on the pilots chair, it seemed lonely. It was lonely. Liz would be sitting in the co pilots chair helping Bossk take out TIE fighters or something like that. She looked out the window, it was dawn time. The suns were setting behind the mountains.
"Well, I'm on my own now."
*Ending of flashback*
~You didn't think they were going to stay partners forever, right?
