It was finally the weekends and you were sleeping in while Yuto went downstairs to make breakfast knowing you'll be up when he'll be done. Yuto made pancakes along with bacon, eggs and coffee and just as he had inserted cream and sugar in both of your coffees the news had came on.

"There have been reports about a group of people that have been drugging people that it may slow down their heart till death"

Yuto shrugged not worrying about anything knowing that if anyone touched you or him then you would beat the shit out of them. Chuckling Yuto turned off the T.V., got out the plates, setting the food in both plates. You had woken up to the smell of coffee and bacon "Hm? Oh I guess Yuto woke up already" you said getting up, you had on a oversized T-shirt and sweats as you walked out of the room and rubbed the tiredness out of your eyes going to the bathroom. Turning on the warm water and taking off your clothes you stepped in the warm water while letting the water drops roll down your skin while breathing in the steam. After the shower you go to your room with a towel on, you put on your (anime) shirt and some skinny jeans and your (anime) converses, brushing your hair you stepped out as you run downstairs meeting a happy Yuto "good morning (name)" he greeted "morning Yuto" you cheered as both of you went to the table.

After eating the breakfast both teens head out to their friend's house: Shun and Ruri. Yuto knocked on the door as Ruri opened it "hello you two" Ruri greeted with a smile "hey/hello" you and Yuto greeted simultaneously. Ruri smiled and let the teens in telling them that Shun was watching T.V., instantly Shun came to the door and hugged Ruri in a protective manner "looks like you heard the news to" Yuto said with a straight face "yeah" Shun responds leaving (name) in question while Ruri knew what the guys were talking about. "The news said that a group of people that have been drugging people with something that makes their heart beat slower" Yuto explains seeing you confused.

Ruri mentions that she has to go shopping and Shun drags you and Yuto just incase some ass-kicking needs to happen. At the mall Ruri had bought new clothes, shoes, make up, etc. and all the three teens were tired. You were sitting while panting as you saw a person with gloves, a hat, and mysterious looking was looking in a window, as if targeting someone. Getting up in question you went to the person "hey, what are you doing there?" You asked making the person turn around. He grabs your hand and you pull away in shock, he runs away as you gasped for air.

'I can't breath' you asked yourself "Yuto" you wheezed out. Yuto looks your way seeing how you were starting to cough and clutch your chest, in shock and worry he runs to your side "(name)?! ARE YOU OK?!" Yuto shouts. Shun and Ruri comes to look, "my.....ch-chest hurts" you said as Yuto puts his ear to your heart.

It was slowing down.

Yuto's rage was growing immensely "SHUN!! CALL AN AMBULANCE!!!!!" Yuto screamed at his poor bird-loving friend "what?! Why?! What happened!!!??" Shun was confused and so was Ruri "JUST CALL AN AMBULANCE!!! (NAME)'S HEART IS SLOWING DOWN!!!" Yuto shouted again and this time Shun did as told. Yuto looked your way "it's going to be ok" he says to you in a kind voice that shook. You hear running footsteps of multiple people and that was the last thing you hear while the last thing you see is Yuto's worried face 'Yuto' was also the last thing on your mind as your vision went black.

The ambulance ran towards your sleeping yet slowly dying body and a panicked Yuto "sir we need to ask you what happened" one said "I'm not sure. A man just grabbed her hand and-" of course! That mysterious person had down this to you. The paramedics put you on a stretcher and put you in the back of the van while Yuto went with you to the hospital. While you went into an emergency room, Yuto had been pacing in the hall with Shun and Ruri sitting on the bench. Usually Yuto was very composed but right now he couldn't he calm and composed. Not with your heartbeat slowing down and you were his best friend so he was worried for your life. Shun and Ruri has assured him many times that you would be ok but that didn't help him at all.

Shun was also worried, it wasn't Ruri but it was you that was harmed. You were like his other sister and if anyone hurt you than he wouldn't mind to hurt whoever harmed you. After a few hours a doctor came to Yuto's side "Mr. Kurosaki?" Yuto was confused, who would address him as Mr. Kurosaki? Shun tapped Yuto on the shoulder gaining his attention and nodded. Yuto nodded back and said "that's me" Yuto said "ok. Well I'm very sorry to this but......... I'm sorry for your loss" the doctor said making Yuto shocked. What did he mean 'sorry for your loss?' No it can't be. You can't be. Yuto fell yo the ground in tears "WHAT ARE YOU SAYING?! (NAME) CAN'T BE GONE!!" Shun shouted at the doctor "I'm sorry but she is. Her heart has stopped" the doctor said with a sad face. Shun and Ruri were shocked while Yuto tried to stop crying.

His best friend. The one that had been with him through everything. The person he loved more than anyone. Was gone.

A nurse came rushing out a room that contained (name). "DOCTOR!!" The nurse whispered something to the doctor "what?! She's alive? How can that be?" The doctor ran to your room as so did Yuto, Shun, and Ruri. And it was true, you were alive and breathing. The doctor ran to you and smiled "welcome back" he said "glad to be back" you chuckled. Yuto ran at you and pulled you into a tight embrace, shocking the doctor and nurses there.

You could feel Yuto's tears on your shoulder as you patted his back trying to calm him down. "D-don't ever scare like that again (name)" Yuto cried "I'm sorry. In the dark I heard your cries" you said with a frown on your face. Shun and Ruri smiled watching you and Yuto's little moment. A few hours later the doctor has let you of the hospital "I'm so glad I'm out" you breathed out. Yuto hugged you close "I am to" he said while Shun was cursing at the sky "I'LL KILL THE ONE THAT TRIED TO KILL (NAME)!!!!!" Shun shouted on the top of his lungs, Ruri laughed "but Yuto was crying and he screamed at Shun to call an ambulance" Ruri said making Yuto's cheeks flush red making you jealous that you couldn't do that. 'Yuto must like Ruri then' you said with a sad voice in your head. You made it home with Yuto and instantly fell asleep with him on the couch with a smile on your face.
