Neji's P.O.V.

I was running over to (y/n)'s house until I saw someone take her. She looks like she's knocked out. I chase after the guy that was taking her. 

*No One's P.O.V.*

"Hey come back here!" Yells Neji as he runs after the guy that was taking you. 

"Catch me if you can!" Yells The Dude taking you away. He wasn't paying attention and he trips and falls on his face. He drops you and you land somewhere away from the guy. Neji puts one foot on the guy. 

"So what were you doing with (y/n)?" Asks Neji scaring the guy. 

"I-I-I was going to take her and love her." Says the guy. 

"You weird pervert!" Yells Neji as he beats the guy up. After knocking out the guy, Neji hauls you on his back while dragging the guy. Neji goes to the Hokage's office and disposes of the weird creep. Neji then holds you bridal style and heads back on top of the roof. 

"What happened to (y/n)?" Questions Kiba worriedly. 

"Some perv knocked her out." Says Neji with annoyance as he lays you on a bench. "Is everything ready?" 

"Uh.... yeah." Says Tenten. Neji sits on the bench next to you crossing his arms. 

"You seem like you're in a foul mood Neji." Says Tenten. 

"Whatever, when do we get to say Happy New Years?" Asks Neji. 

"In about an hour." Says Sakura. Then your head falls on Neji's shoulder making Neji blush a little as he looks at you.

"Awww." Says Ino and Sakura. 

"Whatever." Mumbles Neji.

You had awaken from slumber and you and Neji were close to the roof's railing while everyone was together closer by the middle. 

"(y/n)." Says Neji as he turns to look at you. 

"Yes?" You ask Neji as he and you stare into each others eyes. 

"I've been meaning to tell you something." Says Neji.

"Yes?" You question. 

"I-I-I..." Starts Neji. 

"Yes Neji?" You say. 

"I......love you." Says Neji as you both kiss exactly at midnight. The midnight that had started a new year. You and Neji heard Happy New Years and fireworks go off.
