christopher took lilith's hand in his as they walked into the nice restaurant. she had a small smile as the host walked them to their table.

reaching where they would be eating, chris pulls lili's seat out for her before sitting down in front of her.

they talk and laugh the entire night, flirting discreetly over dinner. both having the fluttery feeling in their stomach when the other is caught staring.

after arriving back at the sturniolo residence, chris and lili walk into the house laughing quietly amongst themselves. it comes to a stop when they see the whole friend group in the kitchen, standing with their arms crossed. nick and peyton walk up and hook their arms with lilith's pulling her upstairs.

matt motions for chris to follow him and the guys when harley and grey follow the others to nick's room.

"sooo," nick begins as lilith begins wiping her makeup off. "how'd it go?"

"it went fine." lilith replies dryly, making sure to hold a straight face.

"what the fuck? 'it went fine'. what kind of shit response is that? give us the juicy details!" peyton stands up, looking at lilith in the mirror from behind her.

"okay, okay." lilith laughs. "so..." she continues to tell the group every single thing that happened and how she felt throughout it.

with christopher

"when i tell you i think she's the one, i fucking mean it, man." chris sits on his bed, after changing out of the sweatshirt and jeans he was wearing.

"what did you guys do?" flynn asks from a chair in front of chris' setup for streaming.

"well..." chris explains the night a little differently than lilith, adding how he felt and his thoughts from the date.

"you didn't kiss her before you guys walked in?" ridge asks. "isn't that what you're supposed to do after a first date?"

"but it's different. we're living together right now." chris shrugs his shoulders. "should i have kissed her?"

"yeah." matt replies, throwing a beanbag in the air and catching it. "hopefully she didn't think too much about it."

"girls tend to overthink about stuff like that." ridge says, leaning on his arm while talking to chris.

"because you would know." flynn adds, making matthew chuckle quietly.

"especially lilith. y'all shoulda heard when that one guy broke up with her sophomore year. she thought it was her fault." ridge doesn't think about what he says until it's out in the open.

"she had a boyfriend?" chris questions, feeling a bit more insecure, considering he's never had a girlfriend before.

"only for a year."

"a year?" chris begins to be the one overthinking.

what if he wants her back? and she takes him... where would that leave us?

much later, all the teenagers had gathered in the living room again, but chris had sat beside flynn and matt instead of his normal spot beside lili.

she shares a confused look with nick, but he just shrugs his shoulders, before motioning for her to sit with him. she climbs up on the couch, laying in nick's open arms as the movie begins to play.

chris sneaks a few looks at lilith during the movie, seeing her confused demeanor.

watching as she leaves the room, he takes the moment to talk to her for a second.

"hey." she turns around at his voice, offering a small smile.

"hey." her soft voice washes over chris like a wave of relaxation. he can talk to her about anything. right?

"can we talk?" lilith's heart nearly stop when he says this. she pauses in making her drink to look at him.

"yeah, of course. what about?"

"ridge and flynn told me about some guy you dated in sophomore year." chris shakes his head. "it's probably nothing, but i just can't help to feel like he's going to come back and you're going to want him more than me."

"chris..." lilith stops him from rambling. "i promise i wouldn't give that guy a second chance if he got on his knees and begged."

chris walks closer to lilith, who's leaning against the kitchen counter.

"and he stands no chance up against you." lilith takes a deep breath. "it's a story for another time, but overall, he's a doucebag who had mommy issues."

chris smiles at the girl.

how did i end up with someone so understanding?

"also, i was told i should've done this." chris puts his hand on lilith's waist before locking his lips with hers.

lili moves her hands up to his face, kissing him back. she can't help but feel the same way she felt earlier when he kissed her.

how have i got someone so amazing?

"ahem." flynn clears his throat behind the two, making them jump in fear.

"flynn." lilith breaths out, "jesus."

"sorry for interrupting. but nick said he needs you guys for something."

the two walk back in the living room behind flynn, seeing that the light was back on and the movie was paused.

"i have an idea..." nick smirks before explaining his wonderful video idea.
