Yesterday

I woke up in the midst of the night. I still felt completely out of it, but my mind wasn't spinning as harshly anymore.
Closing my eyes in disappointment, I began to raise myself, yet in someway I wasn't able to.
Because I was being held, from behind. A soft kiss to my neck caused me to blush uncontrollably. "You left a mess."
"I thought you weren't returning, I grew reckless."
"Well I suppose that's alright then, I already tidied it up. You can go back to sleep now."
"N-no I can't, I have to explai-," Truly ailed by my previous decisions, I spun around to face him.
Wearing a large grin his eyes were still closed, "wake up." I argued. "Stone!"
"What?" He dragged out purposefully. Still smirking a smirk of mischief. Poking him, and shoving him, just to get him fully awake, he tossed his arm on my face.
"Shut up Grant. I don't care. I don't need an explanation, you're here, with me. All is well now, you're safe. Smell like the bloody whores of London, but you're safe. Now go back to sleep. You can state your plea when we are awake and you're not hungover.
And right after you brush your teeth."
Rolling my eyes, I slapped him. Fully awake, eyes wide, and an evil glare set to kill, Stone attacked me.
"Let me go." Tackling me off of the bed, my laugh out strengthened me. Erupting into a paralyzing fit.
"Don't start a fight you can't finish. Now own up."
"I'm sorry!" I confessed, pinning my arms down to claim his victory and forcing me to accept my defeat, he leaned in to meet my gaze.
"I forgave you the moment I turned around, and you weren't there for me to love anymore." Kissing my forehead, he stood to his feet. Lending me his hand, he pulled me up quickly, our bodies nearly so close he became me, as I, him.
"What is now, is what?"
"What is now, is now. Yesterday, is yesterday."
"Mm, " his eyes flickered to below my eyes. "And where does it stay?"
My head slightly backed away, "Yesterday. Stays in yesterday. It doesn't belong here."
"Not now. And not tomorrow." He didn't kiss me, instead he head butted me softly. Placed his tender hands on my cheeks, and lifted his lips to my forehead once more.
Hugging him tightly we stood there, and since my two week departure, I felt at peace.
I felt. And that to me, was a luxury.
