Chapter 2.

Bees

We tracked up the side roads for practically 30 minutes until we reached the woods.

Vast amounts of moss and tree roots covered the path but Miss Peregrine kept walking. I followed though for every few minutes she would turn her head the slightest bit to make sure I was behind her.

The woods freaked me out more than the back roads I had to say and every couple minutes I would stumble on some sort of tree root making me fall.

Around 5 minutes after we had started I was already done my legs aching by the time we finally reached a point where the trail was impossible to find and than Miss Peregrine turned to the right and started walking off the path.

I thought of talking asking her where I was going but I couldn't for Bees would fly everywhere although they would probably sting from anxiety if I let them out.

For I could feel the bees inside my stomach swarming and probably gathering up a plan waiting for their King Bee to command a strike. I could feel their hunger too though and their need to pollinate every sort of flower we passed in the marsh and I practically let them out once when I feel next to a bush filled with Daisy's.

Mmm I loved Daisy's and my bees loved to pollinate them to.

Daisy's and their yellow flowers that could be died any color of the rainbow and their soft green stems with the

I slanted sideways and came to a hult. My boot stuck in the mud. I pushed once, twice, three and agh. My knees fell into the mud hands buried deep in the moss.

I looked up the slightest bit and saw Miss Peregrine. Her eyes filled with disgust and annoyance. Her jaw set as she hissed out "didn't I tell you to follow my steps".

When did she say that? I questioned myself in my head. She never did, did she. I hacked my brain and came up with nothing just Daisy's.

Ugg I zoned out again.

I stumbled upwards mud plastered to my knees like cement my hands even more grimy than before.

Miss Peregrine spin back around and started walking as I helplessly watched her steps and tried to place me feet where she had although I wasn't that good with eye quardination.

When Miss Peregrine finally stopped I was relieved but when I looked around I saw no house for all I saw was a huge tunnel with twists and turns leading inside.

"Come" Miss Peregrine said and she stepped into the cave each step making a clunk from her shoes that she wore.

I followed her although I didn't like the dark and at points the tunnel dropped so you would have to bend down and then I got this feeling in my stomach as if I were being flipped upside down. I felt like vomiting right on the floor but then it stopped a sour feeling I hoped to never have to feel again.

The tunnel ended abruptly then and I could hear birds chirping the mud dried from the other side of the tunnel as if the weather had simply changed in a moment of seconds.

I followed the path after Miss Peregrine more easily than before without caution that I would stumble or fall taking in the many trees around me. For they were all green and bright now.

The trail ended than and what I saw took my breath away.

A house. A humongous house with a pond in front and a billion windows with bushes. Bushes and large over grown trees sat in front of me for this was my home, a home with a Women I knew nothing about and a place I had never seen before.
