When Kickbutt-Girls Meet Satin and Twirls

Need I say more?

So I know there are multiple Ninjago-Disney Princess crossovers out there (*COUGH* Jaya with Beauty and the Beast *COUGH*), but THIS is different. Read on!

Preview: It's episode 92 of Ninjago - "Saving Faith", the one in which Harumi dies. However, the building that collapses (which Harumi is in) is actually the one on which Nya, Lloyd, Skylor, and Dareth are fighting Garmadon from. Seliel is there with them, as is PIXAL, whom Lloyd and Nya earlier freed from Kryptarium prison. Jay, Kai, Cole, and Zane (plus Wu, of course) are all still in the Realm of Oni and Dragon.

As we all know, that building everyone's on comes down. All those inside should die, right?

But instead, all the girls wake up to find themselves...in a tower? And Dareth and Lloyd are nowhere to be found.

Something is different about each of the girls, too - Nya's hair is freakishly long, PIX is dressed in rags, Harumi has a fishtail for legs, Seliel randomly breaks into song when she speaks, and Skylor seems to have magically healed from her injuries back in Ninjago.

So what happened?

Ships: Kailor (you bet ;)), Coliel, PIXane, Llorumi, and (drumroll) Jaya.

Main Characters:

All of the girls, actually. The guys play an important part, but this book is all about Ninjago's power females.

Skylor - Tiana from The Princess and the Frog (you say, "BUT WAIT! Aren't she and Skylor literally the same personality?" Yes, yes they are. And that's part of where this story comes in...)

Nya - Rapunzel (prepare to die)

Seliel - Snow White 😈 Poor Sel XD

PIXAL - Esmeralda (yes, the lead female from The Hunchback of Notre Dame)

Harumi - Ariel (hmm...perhaps a redemption arc?)

If you haven't guessed yet, each princess the girls replace is intended to aggravate or highlight a weakness each girl in the fandom has. For example, casting Nya as Rapunzel means she has to face failure - that of being stuck in a tower.

Sneak peek:

***(Skylor's POV)***

I groan under my breath and carefully rise to a sitting position. I expect something within me to snap or burn like fire at any moment, yet...nothing happens.

I squeeze my eyes open against the remnants of my migraine. As it turns out, using the power of darkness can give a girl one heck of a headache.

Slowly, I blink at my surroundings. The floor seems to be of dressed red stone, and it's cool underneath my touch. Up ahead, sunlight streams through what appears to be a balcony and warms rectangular patches of stone. The postion of the sun seems to indicate it's late afternoon.

I look to my left and catch a glimpse of raven hair.

That makes me stop short.

Nya.

I urgently flip around to get a better view of her situation. She could be injured or -

Wait. Whoa, whoa, whoa

That's a crap-lot of hair.

Long, silky black tresses swirl over the floor like a trail, and I can't even see where it leads.

I scramble onto my hands and knees. "Nya?" I call frantically. How long have I been out?

"I'm - ugh! - up - ow! - here!" she yells back from somewhere in the rafters. "Somehow, my hair got tangled up in one of the boards here, and now it won't...come...out!"

"I'll be up to help you in a sec," I reassure her. I rise to my feet - surprisingly without difficulty - and look for a way to climb the wall to reach her. I could always scale the stone structure, but I don't want to push my body's limits. It's amazing that I can even move.

The moment I spot a staircase in the corner, I rush over to it.

That's when I hear a horrible gasp for breath to my right. I jerk my head in that direction to see something rather slimy and green flip into the air. Most of its body is hidden by debris and the staircase's railing, but it appears to be...a giant fish?

The contents of my stomach churn.

"What was that?!" Nya asks from above me. "I can't see! My hair's all in my face. Gosh, I never realized I had this much! I am so going back to a bob as soon as we defeat Garmadon!"

"I...don't know," I reply, swallowing back bile in my throat.

I take a wobbly step toward the ugly, slimy creature that continues to flip its tail into the air. I'm a little concerned of what its head looks like, but its strangled, desperate cries urge me on to help it or put it out of its misery.

I inhale a deep breath before peeking over the railing of the stairs, and what I see makes my eyes bug.

"Harumi? You're a...a...a mutant!"

Thoughts on this one? It's actually a pretty fun and deep story.
