Best Wishes, Jay Walker
***Okay, so I don't have much time, but this one's short and I needed to get it out of my heaaaaaaaaaaad. I realize I'm never going to be able to write most of these plots I come up with LOL***
Title: Best Wishes, Jay Walker
Ships: Jayaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa
Main Characters -
Jay Walker: The clean-cut boy from a junkyard who has left to make his fortune inventing. He met a girl, but let's say this is two hundred years ago (yet set in modern times) and he needs to make some money before he settles down. So that's what he does! 21 y/o.
Nya Smith: The girl Jay Walker's in love with (none other :p). When Jay leaves with promises of returning with money, she kind of gets fed up and decides to challenge all gender stereotypes of the day. This makes her a mockery to some, but there is one man in particular who finds her vivacity quite appealing. RED FLAG RED FLAG RED FLAG -
Mystery character: The guy who likes Nya. I haven't quite decided on his identity yet. Let's just say that Nya does not like him back.

***(Jay's POV)***
I pull out a sheet of paper and start writing. Sure, I could call or text or email Nya, but I'm going to put some time and thought into this. She'll like that.
Dear Nya,
Hi.
Okay, I'm not the best at letters, but I figure you want to hear from me, so how are you? How's life? How are my parents? And your brother, of course, but he annoys the heck out of me.
I'm doing really well. I miss you. I cried myself to sleep last night because it's been four weeks since we last saw each other. Face-to-face calls aren't the same. I know I sound cheesy, but I just want to smell you again. And hug you. And tell you whatever comes to my mind as soon as I think about it. Yes, I am cheesy.
It's really cool around Borg Industries, though. Mr. Borg says that in another month or so, I'll get a pay raise if I keep up my progress. I can't wait - that means I (hopefully) will have enough to bring you here with me. You don't know how much self-restraint it's taken not to splurge when I go to the store, especially when walking through the technology department. I really shouldn't browse that area these days. There's just so much available, but I know I have to save, and yeah.
But anyway, I just remind myself that I'll have to wait. I can't wait until you can finally join me here. There's a lot of stuff that needs fixing, Nya, and I know you're better at a lot of that than I am. I'm good at creating new things, but it's easy to see you're way better at fixing them.
And yes, my junk-collecting tendencies have followed me here. My bedroom is currently filled to the max with spare parts and an old refrigerator someone left out by the road. What can I say? Once you get here, maybe we can work on it together.
Anyway, I really, really, really miss you, and I can't wait for you to write me back. Is there any particular reason why you didn't reply to my last letter? I mean, we've texted a few times and called once since then, but you kind of seem...off. Is everything okay?
Yeah, well, I hope everything's going well. I love you. And by the way, I'm attaching a drawing to the back of this letter. It's not very good, but I know you've always liked my depictions of your hotheaded brother. I hope it brings you a little piece of me.
Best wishes and love and good vibes and blah, blah, blah,
Jay Walker (your soon-to-be husband!)
***But yeah. That happened.***
