The picture is for Sabine's part in this story
"Hey, kid!" Zeb yelled, walking into the room he shared with the youngest spector. "It's time to eat, stop slacking or I'll eat your share!"
"Go ahead." The boy replied, not opening his eyes from his meditation, causing the Lasat to falter.
"Come again...?"
"I'm fasting. Giving up food to find a higher state of mind."
Zeb stared at him for a full two minutes before slowly starting to walk back to the common room, going right up to Kanan.
"Zeb? I thought you were going to get Ezra; where is he?" The leader asked, pausing from teasing Sabine about a failed attempt at a solo mission once.
"Kid says he's 'fasting'... He was meditating and didn't even look at me."
Everyone, even Chopper, stared at Zeb.
"Ezra turned down food...?"
Kanan stood up, walking to Ezra's room, not even knocking before entering.
"Kanan," The boy greeted. "I knew you'd come after Zeb left."
"Ezra, what's going on? You aren't acting like yourself; you never fast or meditate like this."
Ezra sighed and opened his eyes, looking up at his master. "Please, Master Kanan, I told you already that I was going to train more. I'm going to be a proper padawan for you."
Kanan had the urge to tell him he didn't want a proper padawan, but he held his tongue and left the room.
And that's how it went. Ezra would skip meals every other day for fasting and meditating, becoming more and more formal with the crew.
It was strange seeing the life of one of their members change so drastically in so little time. They all hated it too, Zeb even admitted aloud how he wished the kid would go back to normal.
So... they formed a plan to get him back.
"Hey, kid, come see for a second." Sabine said, sticking her head into Ezra and Zeb's room.
"What is it, Sabine?" Ezra asked, setting the four rocks down using the Force and looked back up at her.
"I want to show you my new painting. I think you'll like it." She said with a smirk. Ezra followed her to her room, where she made him close his eyes. With this new formal attitude of his, she didn't have to worry about him trying to peek.
"You normally don't go out of your way to show me your paintings, Sabine. Unless it's one of myself."
"I think you'll like this one I did of you."
Ezra froze when he entered her room. On her wall was a canvas, hanging over all the other paintings. It was what was on the canvas though, that got Ezra's attention.
It was a painting of him and her at night, sitting on a rooftop together talking, on the wall of the building beneath them was a sign that said 'Join the Rebellion!'. The picture wasn't making fun of him like normal... And it was bigger than any she had done before. A lot of work and effort was put into it.
"What do you think...?" Sabine asked, almost hesitantly. This painting wasn't like her others, and she hadn't show it to anyone yet. So having Ezra see it made it even more nerve racking than normal.
"It's... It's very nice, Sabine. I can tell you put a lot of work into making it." Ezra gave her a small smile, which stopped the rant that was forming in Sabine. She hadn't seen even a hair of a smile on him since he started this new attitude...
"Well then, Sabine, thank you for showing me your work. I'll take my leave now." And with that, Sabine let Ezra walk out of her room.

Ezra was in the fields of Lothal making connections with Lothcats when he felt something coming at him. He jumped out of the way just before blue milk was thrown at him.
"Garazeb, what is the meaning of this?" Ezra asked, a slight scowl at the snickering Lasat in front of him.
"What? I thought ya liked milk." He shrugged in reply, smirking at the boy. He was going to enjoy snapping the kid to his senses again.
"I like it in a glass, thank you though for thinking about me. Now if you'll excuse me, you're interrupting my training." Ezra turned away from him again and started walking off to find more Lothcats and other small animals, leaving a frowning Zeb in his wake.
In a last ditch effort to get the old Ezra back, Zeb yelled out, "Yeah! Lothcats should hang out with other Lothcats...!" But the only reaction he got from the kid was a slight pause before he continued walking.
Zeb lost his little buddy...

"Ezra, please come up to the cockpit." Hera called one day. Two minutes later, the boy came in.
"Yes, Miss Hera?" He asked with his hands crossed in front of his chest, in a calming way instead of the usual irritated pose. Hera knew she couldn't back out of her plan now.
"Do you... want to learn how to fly the Ghost?"
Ezra stared at her for a while then sighed. "I know what you and the others are trying to do, and it won't work. You don't understand why I'm doing this, but I need to do it."
"Ezra, this formal personality of yours isn't you. I understand that you're scared, but don't kill yourself over it."
Ezra's eyebrows knitted together in confusion. Kill himself? He would never do that...
Hera brushed by him, patting his shoulder. "Now it's time for you to understand. I hope you figure it out soon." With that, she left him.
Ezra was extremely confused... He'd need to meditate about it.
