Year 1: Visiting Restricted Corridors and Dention With Unicorns (Part 1)
"So...after the troll attack, we were wandering around the castles at night and a teacher saw us," Harry began.
"We found a nearby door and just ran into it without even thinking," Ron added.
"Then, Filch's cat was in there. She began to make a lot of commotion and we knew Filch was around," Hermione said. "Then there was another door that we ran into."
"We were safe from Filch, but in danger of being eaten by a three-headed dog," Harry laughed. "Apparently named Fluffy."
"Like normal people, we screamed and scrambled back to our dormitaries," Ron said.
"The next day, Harry was about to have his first Quidditch Match and Professor Snape walked up to us," Hermione commemerated. "He was limping, so I was convinced that he was trying to
"Anyway...we have another story to tell you," Hermione said.
"Before the break, Hermione, Ron, and I all secretly visited Hagrid after curfew and it didn't end up well," Harry started.
"Yea," Ron agreed. "Draco Malfoy, father of Scorpius Malfoy, caught us. Then we all had to go to Professor McGonagall's office."
"Draco and us all had to go to detention with Hagrid. We had to go find 'unicorns,'" Hermione said. "Hagrid said that someone had been killing the unicorns for their blood."
"Unicorn blood can keep someone from dying and basically allows them to live forever," Harry added. "Anyway, we split into groups. Hermione, Ron, and Hagrid. Then there was Draco, me, and Fang - Hagrid's dog."
"When we split up, Draco, Harry, and Fang came across a hooded figure leaning over a bleeding unicorn," Hermione said.
"Draco ran off with Fang as Harry was being cornered by the hooded figure," Ron explained. "He was then saved by a centur."
"Gee...I thought this letter would be longer...," Harry muttered. "Well, long-story short we basically got detention, hunted for unicorns, and I almost died - "
"Again," Ron interrupted.
Hermione sighed in the background.
"Anyway, we love you guys and we can't wait to see you for break!" Hermione ended.
Albus closed the letter and looked up at the clock. It was almost midnight and it was far past curfew. James raced up towards the window and saw a light glowing from Hagrid's Hut. Then he grabbed his jacket and put on some shoes.
"Where are you going?" Rose asked.
"Um...Hagrid's," James replied with an attitude.
"Fine," she said un-expectantly. "Go ahead. I'll see you in the morning."
"You're not going to just let him go, are you?" Hugo asked.
"Of course I am," Rose answered. "G'night James."
James was on his way out as Rose's family members all watched her. Then, Rose reached into her bag and threw a splash potion at James. He fell on the floor as the affects of the potion took over him. Rose smiled in satisfaction as her sibling and cousins eyed her.
"What did you do?" Lily asked as Albus walked over to his sleeping brother.
"Don't worry, it's just a simple sleeping draught," Rose explained. "He'll wake up in the morning."
Albus grabbed James' hand, raised it, and then dropped it. James was still asleep. Albus did it again. He looked up at Rose.
"That stuff is amazing," he gasped. "Can I have the recipe?"
"Of course!" Rose smiled. "Anything for my favorite male cousin."

On Saturday, the children gathered after their lunch at the pumpkin patch near Hagrid's Hut. They all gathered and walked up to Hagrid's doorstep. Hugo knocked on the door and Hagrid gladly greeted them all.
"I suppose yer here t' learn 'bout the detention I shared with your parents," Hagrid assumed. "Am I right?"
"Yea," Albus answered. "We just want to know more about the...unicorn...attack."
"Oh for crying out loud!" James exclaimed. "We want to know more about what happened that night my father was cornered by that hooded figure."
"Well, how's 'bout we stay late an' go in ter the Forbidden Forest ourselves an' visit th' scene," Hagrid suggested. "T'night I'll give you rules t' follo' an' then the next night, we'll go in ter the forest."
They all nodded. They set up a time they would meet after dinner. James would use his invisibility cloak to sneak everyone out to Hagrid's hut.

At dinner, they all saw Hagrid talking with Professor McGonagall and other professors. Albus had his eye on a blonde kid at the Slytherin table. He exchanged smirks and gave evil looks at him.
"Who are you looking at Albus?" Rose asked. "Is it a girl?"
"What? No!" Albus shouted. "It's that guy...he gives me bad vibes."
Rose looked at the boy and leaned back in her seat.
"No wonder he bothers you," Rose said. "He's Scorpious Malfoy. He's the son of Draco Malfoy...your father's school nemesis!"
"Seriously!" Albus ejaculated. "I never knew he had a nemesis."
"Oh believe me!" Rose sighed. "My father goes on and on about this 'Draco Malfoy' and his family. He says, 'I'm surprised he was married,' and, 'He tried to kill your mother.' It doesn't bother me, it's just his family that does. They're all purebloods. They think they're the best. Anyone who thinks that, is an enemy of mine.... I swear to God."
"Gosh, Rose!" Hugo said. "You haven't even met him! You're so...judgmental!"
"They're the Malfoys, Hugo! We're the Weasleys! We've been enemies ever since the dawn of time," Rose muttered as she stabbed her chicken.
Lily looked over at Scorpious and didn't see anything evil about him at all.
"He doesn't look bad," Lily said. "He just looks like all the rest of us."
"Oh trust me, Lily!" James told her. "Anyone that has to use more hair products than me, has a problem."
Rose was puzzled.
"But, James...you don't use any hair products," Rose said.
"I know!" he exclaimed.
"Well, don't worry!" Lily rolled her eyes. "He's not my type at all. I'm kind of into the pranksters of the school."
James started to grin. He was quite a prankster himself.
"Not you!" she said aggravated.
Just then, a figure blocked the light from them all. It was Scorpious...along with two larger boys behind him.
"I'm - ," he smirked.
"We know who you are, Scorpious!" Rose cut him off.
"Ooh!" he murmured. "Fighsty! I like that...."
"Get out of here, Malfoy!" James spat.
"Yea!" Hugo agreed. "And no one hits on my older sister!"
"Hugo!" Rose silently shouted at him. "Sorry, he's a bit crazy."
"What ever you say...my Rose," Scorpious grinned as he left.
Rose kept an eye on him until he sat down.
"I think he's crushing on you," Albus said.
Rose gasped.
"How dare you say that?" she shouted, pointing her finger at him with a look. "You take that back right now!"
"I take it back! I take it back!" Albus shouted frightened, both hands in the air.
As everyone walked back to the Gryffindor common room, James let everyone into the boys' room and locked the door. He pulled out his invisibility cloak and wrapped it around everyone. The only problem was that it couldn't fit around five people!
"What do we do now?" James asked. "Hagrid is waiting for us!"
"Oh, move over!" Rose said as she enlarged the cloak with a spell. "Better. Let's go."
"Why does she know everything?" James muttered under his breath.
They shuffled down to Hagrid's hut and sat at the table. Hagrid began to go over the rules for tomorrow night's journey. Then they heard something like glass break from outside. James looked out a nearby window and saw the face of Scorpious.
"Scorpious!" Albus and James shouted.
Hagrid walked up to the door and agreed that it was Malfoy.
"Scorpious!" he yelled as Fang rushed out.
He ran out of their sight as the Potter and Weasley children walked towards the door. Hagrid grabbed James' invisibility cloak and handed it to him.
"I suggest that you all get back to your dormitories before he catches you all," Hagrid said as they huddled under the cloak and rushed off. "Go!"
Each of them were racing at full speed through the castle. Then, they stopped suddenly as they saw Filch's cat. They took a deep breath and walked around the cat as it began to make a commotion.
"Come on, let's go!" Rose insisted.
They speed walked away from the cat. Once they were out of sight of it, they took off the cloak and took a break.
"That was close!" Hugo gasped.
"Yea!" Albus agreed.
"I don't want to do this tomorrow night!" Lily said. "The castle is so big!"
"Indeed it is, Ms. Potter," an old lady's voice croaked.
Each of them looked up and saw Professor McGonagall, and by her side, Scorpious. They all huddled on opposite sides. Professor McGonagall paced around them and returned to her desk.
"This is just like what your parents all did!" she groaned. "Stayed up late and were caught! In that case, we'll just have to put the six of you in detention with Professor Hagrid tomorrow night!"
"What! No!" Scorpious said. "They were at Hagrid's."
"You were also out of bed, Mr. Malfoy," Professor McGonagall told him. "The six of you will be in detention with Hagrid tomorrow night."
