MEENA LOVED gaming, but she was ridiculously bad at the game that the majority of her friends played... Valorant. She had watched Rae, Jodi (QuarterJade), Foolish, and many of her other friends play this specific game and though the games could end up 50/50 if they added Meena to the game, they would lose every time.

She didn't understand it, how could they be so good at the game and she, after countless hours of watching them play, not be?

Her starting soon screen still lingered on her screen as she dragged a chair from Rae's room into her own for Blau to sit on when they began to play.

She brushed her hair from her face and sat down in her chair just in time for Blau to gently knock on her bedroom door.

She muttered a soft "come in" and he pushed the door open to see a bright blue neon light strip lighting her back wall.

The walls were an off white color and pictures of her friends and family lined the walls in front of her monitors while posters of her favorite movies, video games, and tv shows lined the wall that the viewers would be able to see.

She had other small miscellaneous items lining her desk such as Funko Pops and small figurines from blind boxes she'd opened up on stream either alone or with Jodi by her side.

The room was perfectly Meena's.

Meena turned in her chair, giving Blau a small smile. "I appreciate you coming."

He returned the soft smiled, sitting down in the chair next to hers.

She removed the starting soon screen and held a bright smile in her face as she waved towards her chat.

Blau held a small smile on his face, waving towards the chat as well. Meena had a little bit of a bigger following than her, which meant she drew in a bigger audience than he had. At best, Meena averaged 2,000 viewers on Twitch.

She liked her audience, it was small compared to Rae's average of 8,000 which made her more comfortable to stream on her own set up because she knew her audience better than anyone else's. This was her family away from family.

But just because her viewership on Twitch was "small" didn't mean she wasn't well known. She had her YouTube following where she posted gaming content, vlogs, and edited versions of her streams. Her Twitter following, plus her Instagram following.

"Hello." Meena smiled. "Hi, hi."

Her eyes scanned over her chat, most of them emoting and others mentioning Blau.

"Yes," Meena answered. "Blau is here to teach me more about Valo because I fucking suck. Every time I play with him or Rae, Foolish, Luna, Tina, literally anyone- I'm the reason we lose and I'm sick of losing at Valo."

"You do not suck." Blau laughed. "I've played with worse."

Meena turned her chair slightly, looking over at him with a small smile. "I am Bronze 2. That's so bad." She laughed, using her hand to cover her mouth. "That's so fucking bad, Nathan."

He licked his lips, smiling softly. "That's not bad. I promise."

Meena playfully rolled her eyes, turning her chair to look back at her monitor and chat.

Meena smiled. "Are you a Libra?"

Blau nodded. "What's yours?"

"I'm a Gemini." She muttered, typing away on her second monitor, pulling up an article to show her chat. "These two make great friends." She read. "They're both outgoing, intelligent, and playful. When they're together, they riff off of each other and create their own inside jokes, just for the two of them." She smiled. "Great start."

Meena smiled, her hand covering her mouth as brought the microphone closer. "No surprise here: These two also have ah-mazing sexual compatibility. Both are down to try just about anything once or twice and they have a playful attitude towards sex. To both Gemini and Libra, sex should be fun above all else. Plus, Libra is a born people-pleaser, while Gemini is happy to take the lead." She continued. "When it comes to compatibility, these are two of the most obvious signs to put together. Thanks to their shared air element, they have so much in common."

As Meena continued to read, Blau watched her with a soft smile. He would chuckle here and there as he listened to her read the article, but it really did make him think.

Meena sat back in her seat, looking over at Blau who turned in his chair, his back now facing the chat slightly as he looked at her.

"We might as well go out right here, right now." She joked, moving her hand to point it towards her monitor. "Have kids by midnight and married by Sunday."

Blau shrugged his shoulders, his back still facing the chat. "I don't mind."

Meena tired not to smile as she brought her knees up to her chest. She licked her lips and only looked at him. She brought her hands up to her lips to try and wipe away her smile before she sat up right.

"Let's open the game." She muttered, adjusting the microphone as she opened Valorant.

And after several shitty games, not ranking up, and watching Blau play three flawless games, she decided to cut it short and look over at chat to see what she should play or do while waiting on the others for game night.

Meena sighed, licking her lips as she glanced over at Blau. They could still hear Rae's voice echoing down the hall, the sharp, exaggerated screams making it clear she was deep into whatever chaotic game she had found herself in. The two of them sat there, waiting for her usual chaos to die down, knowing they'd have to join her lobby soon enough.

Meena stretched and sat up, spinning her chair around to face Blau. "Blautoise," she called out, a teasing smile playing on her lips.

Blau, already watching her, smiled back, spinning his chair lazily to meet her gaze. "Pastel Meena," he replied.

As Meena laughed, something caught Blau's eye. A tiny speck of something on her cheek—maybe it was from the snack she had been eating earlier, or maybe it had been there longer and he hadn't noticed until now. Either way, it pulled his focus, and before he even thought it through, he leaned forward, closing the distance between them.

"You've got something..." he said, his voice trailing off as he gestured vaguely toward her face.

Meena raised an eyebrow, blinking at him in confusion. "What? Where?"

Blau hesitated for only a second, then gently reached out, brushing his thumb across her cheek to wipe the smudge away. His touch lingered for a heartbeat longer than necessary, and for him, it felt like the world paused for just that brief moment.

Meena chuckled. grabbing his hand, and smiled. "What is that?" She muttered, bringing his hand closer to face to see.

To some of the chat, it was nothing. These two were friends, nothing more than that, but to others... it was a little different, especially since Blau didn't look at others like he had Meena.

His facial expressions were always softer when she was with him. His smile wide, but soft as he looked at her.

As Meena laughed, still inspecting his hand with a mock-serious expression, Blau's gaze softened even more. His smile was wide, but it wasn't just from the teasing banter. It was the way she lit up when she laughed, the way her presence always made him feel more at ease, even in moments like this where he wasn't sure how to hide what was going on inside.

She let go of his hand, finally dropping it back onto her lap as she wiped at her own cheek with a giggle.

As Mewna looked over at her chat, some saying that Ellum had been in the discord, Blau turned his attention towards his phone, messages from the same man lighting his phone screen.
