"GODDAMNIT!"

Blau and Meena could hear Rae's shout from her room as she played a game with Foolish, Ellum, and Tina. Whatever had happened had cause Rae to just endlessly shout at Ellum who laughed in return.

But they had grown use to it. The friends yelling, the slapping of the desk in anger, it was something that brought strange joy to their ears.

But they chose to ignore the noise and just sit.

Well... kind of.

The soft sounds of Meena's playlist played in her room. Sabrina Carpenter's Coincidence playing after pretty isn't pretty by Olivia Rodrigo.

Meena sat on top of Blau with squinted eyes as she took the tweezers between her hands.

Blau winced slightly but stayed still, his hands resting loosely on Meena's thighs as she sat straddling him. "Are you sure you know what you're doing?" he asked, his voice laced with both amusement and mild concern.

Meena rolled her eyes, not breaking her concentration as she leaned in closer.
"Yes, Nathan, I know what l'm doing.
You're the one who complained about this in the first place."

She finally plucked the offending stray hair from his brow, holding it up triumphantly. "Got it!"

Blau let out a relieved breath, his grin playful as he looked up at her.

"See? That wasn't so bad." Meena smirked, tossing the tweezers onto the bedside table. "Now you look a little less like a caveman."

She ran a gentle hand through his hair, her smile still on her face as she looked down at him.

Blau's hands slid up her sides, pulling her closer.

Meena's breath caught as his gaze flicked to her lips. Her heart skipped a beat, but she didn't hesitate—she leaned down, capturing his mouth with hers.

The kiss was slow at first, testing the waters, but quickly deepened as Blau's hands moved to her lower back, pressing her closer against him. Meena's fingers threaded through his hair, holding him to her as their lips moved in sync.

The warmth of his touch, the firmness of his grip—it all made her head spin.

Blau tilted his head, his tongue brushing against her bottom lip, and Meena granted him access without hesitation.

Her hands slid down to rest against his chest, feeling the steady rhythm of his heartbeat beneath her palms.

Then the door flew open.

"Hey, Moo? Do you have— Holy shit!"

Meena practically jumped out of her skin, pulling back so fast that she lost her balance and nearly toppled off of Blau's lap. He caught her waist instinctively, but his face was already flushed a deep red as he turned toward the door.

Foolish stood frozen in the doorway, his eyes wide and his mouth slightly open. He looked from Meena to Blau, then back again, before his expression shifted into one of pure delight.

Meena quickly stood to her feet, shutting her bedroom door as Foolish stepped further into the room. She quickly turned to face him.

"Do you not knock?" she snapped, her voice higher-pitched than usual.

Foolish raised his hands in mock surrender, his grin widening as he leaned against the now-closed door. "I wasn't expecting to walk into that. Should I be knocking every time I come in now? Is this a... regular thing?"

Blau groaned from the bed, his head falling back against the headboard. "Foolish, can you not?"

"Can I not what?" Foolish teased, gesturing between the two of them. "Can I not acknowledge whatever... this is? How long has this been going on?"

Meena sighed, her arms crossed over her chest. "A few months."

Foolish raised his brows. "A few months!? Does anyone else know?"

Meena's eyes bounced from Foolish to Blau as she bit the inside of her cheek.

"Ellum, MJ, Tina and Rae know." Meena answered. "That's it."

Foolish let out a loud laugh, clapping his hands together. "Wait, wait, wait—so half the group already knows, and I'm just now finding out? Unbelievable! I thought we were closer than this, Moo. We share a birthday!"

Blau finally stood up, running a hand through his hair as he gave Foolish a pointed look. "You weren't exactly our top choice for keeping this quiet, dude."

Foolish feigned offense, placing a hand dramatically over his heart. "Excuse me? I am a steel vault of secrets. If anything, you've done me dirty by not trusting me with this sooner."

"Right, because the way you just barged in here totally screams 'trustworthy,'" Blau shot back, crossing his arms.

"Hey," Foolish said with a smirk, "you can't blame me for walking in. This isn't exactly a 'Do Not Disturb' zone."

Meena groaned, dragging a hand down her face. "Can you just... not tell anyone? Please?"

Foolish's grin widened as he tapped a finger against his chin. "Hmm, I don't know. What's in it for me?"

"Foolish." Meena's tone was sharp, but there was a hint of a smile tugging at her lips. "I'm serious."

Foolish softly sighed. "Fine... I'm happy for you by the way... I'm just shocked is all."

"Really?" Meena asked.

Foolish turned, pointing towards her. "I sense the sarcasm. I don't appreciate it." He paused for a moment before looking between the two of them. "We can all go on double dates!"

Meena softly smiled, a small chuckle escaping her as she nodded. "Sure."

"So it's cool that I tell Luna... for double date purposes?"

Meena looked at Blau. He shrugged his shoulders and gave her a curt nod.

"Yes... Yeah, tell Luna." Meena answered. "For double date purposes."

Foolish held his smile before leaving the room. He soon returned, popping his head back inside.

"Oh! I wanted to know if you wanted to play Lethal Company with me and my lobby later?" He asked.

Meena nodded. "Just let me know what time."

Foolish smiled before leaving the room again.

Meena laughed softly, shaking her head as she turned. "You're way too calm about this."

"That's because I've already accepted my fate," Blau said.
