MEENA PATEL SAT at her streaming desk with warm lighting surrounding her. She grabbed her headphones and placed them over her head as she sat in the GTAV NoPixel server before she removed her starting soon screen.

She had been streaming for almost seven years now and received major hype during 2019 after playing Among Us with the variety streamer, Valkyrae.

After that, the two of them grew closer and became friends fairly quickly, moving in with each other along with some other streamers

"Hello." Meena smiled once her face was on the screen. "Welcome, welcome."

Her chat began flowing a rapid speed. Signs of "hello's" and "how are you" filled her chat as she threw a blanket over her lap.

Meena softly smiled, brushing her hair behind her ear as she gently placed her hand over her mouse, turning the music down as she finally saw her GTA character, Gurdy Marshell (pronounced Mars Hell) on her screen.

"I'm good. I'm good." Meena answered as she pressed start on her screen. "We have a busy day in game today. I am supposed to be meeting with Rae's character in-game, um... Ray Mond!" She smiled as she moved her character around the room. "She wants me to meet some people in game."

Meena had been playing GTAV (Grand Theft Auto V) for almost a year now on and off. She knew most of the people that played the game, but she absentmindedly played the game, not really getting into the RP (role playing) factor of it.

She enjoyed it, no doubt, but the idea of role playing wasn't something she was too keen on, but she played the game anyway because Rae liked the game and she wanted to play a game with her that her audience would most likely enjoy.

As Meena spoke to her chat, she moved her character around until the phone in game began to ring.

Meena pressed her lips together, trying to prevent herself from laughing, and answered the phone in game, trying her best to stay in character.

"Hello, this is Gurdy!" Meena smiled. "Who am I speaking with?"

"You don't have my number saved?" Rae asked, speaking as Ray Mond.

"Oh, of course I do, silly girl." Meena said. "I always ask who I'm speaking with... Now, who am I speaking with?"

Rae chuckled. "First name Ray, last name Mond."

"Oh, Ray Mond." Meena nodded. "Yes, Yes. Hello, Ray. Are you ready for today?"

"Yes, I'm just waiting for Mickey to answer the phone." Rae answered. "Oh- that's him. Can you meet me by the clothing store by the apartments?"

"Yeah, I'm on my way."

The phone call in game ended and Meena turned to her chat.

"I hate this!" Meena shouted. "I don't know who Gurdy is! I can't! I can't!"

Though Gurdy was a character she created, she didn't know how to make the character different from herself. She wanted Gurdy to be dense, but not dumb. She just didn't know how to execute it in the way that she wanted.

Regardless, she tried her best and her chat knew that.

Meena rushed her character out of her home and in the car and only sat there as her character placed their hands on the stirring wheel, moving back and forth.

"How do I drive!?" Meena shouted. "I hate this fucking game!"

Meena unplugged her keyboard and plugged it back in and finally managed to get the car to drive.

She pulled her character into the parking lot of the clothing store (not without running into various things) and stumbled her character out of the car and into the clothing store.

Rae's character hadn't been there yet, so Meena decided to give her character a small makeover and speak to her chat as she did so.

"Do you guys know who Mickey is?" Meena asked. "I know he's like, super high up in NoPixel... I think, but like who plays him?"

Her chat began flooding with a single name.

"Blau?" She questioned.

She quickly typed him name into Google and nodded.

"Oh!" She exclaimed. "I played Among Us with him a couple of times." She muttered under her breath.

Meena closed the Google tab and went back to the game, her character standing idle as she continued to talk to her chat.

Suddenly, a loud voice boomed through her headset.

She turned her attention away from her chat and towards her second monitor.

"Gurdy!" Ray shouted. "Gurdy! Gurdy!"

Meena chuckled, unmuting her in-game microphone. "Yes, Ray Mond?"

"This is Mickey!" Ray smiled. "That man I was telling you about, remember?"

Meena nodded, watching as Blau's character, Mickey Sinclaire approached her with his hands clasped behind his back.

"Nice to meet you Ms. Marshell."

"It's actually pronounced Mars-hell." Meena smiled.

"My apologies, Ms. Marshell." Blau spoke. "Ray was telling me so much about you on the way here."

"Oh my fucking God." She muttered. "All good things I hope."

"Yes, yes, all good." Blau smiled.

With that, Blau (Mickey) took Rae and Meena (Ray Mond and Gurdy) around the city to explain what the Company was. He wanted both Ray and Meena's characters to help out and become contractors, but that seemed like too big of a task for Meena, especially since she didn't really know who Gurdy, Blau, or Mickey were.

Regardless, the stream continued on until Gurdy grew tired, knowing she had other obligations to do in the morning.

She waved off Blau and Rae's characters and shut GTA down before turning towards her chat. She waved them goodbye as well before raiding another creator and shutting down her stream entirely.

Meena sighed, pushing her chair back and flopping down on her bed. Ray, on the other hand, continued to stream and could be heard in Meena's room, not that she minded.

But as Meena rolled over, her phone buzzed.

TOMORROW TURNED into weeks and weeks turned into months and Blau found himself falling more and more for Meena Patel, but what he didn't know was the Meena found herself in the same boat and ex-Twitch streamer Valkyrae was going to do everything in her power to get them to of them to go on a date.

And she meant everything.
