FOURTEEN. it's my right to be hellish...

BLAU HAD been planning this ice skating stream with Foolish for what felt like forever and the two of them finally were able to settle on a date for Meena, Luna, Tina, Miyoung, Leslie, Brodin, and Tarik to all go.

Meena had gone to see Blau play hockey every now and then and when he finished, she would go out onto the ice to skate just because.

She was pretty decent, she wasn't a professional ice skater, but she could do the turns and such. If she really tried she could do a solid spin.

For now, the group sat on the bench outside of the rink, Meena could hear Luna laughing at something Foolish had said as Tina began to stand beside her.

She finally finished tying her laces and stood up. She tugged her brown turtleneck sweater down a bit before walking over to Tina and Brodin.

"You said you've been here before?" Tina asked, her voice barely above a whisper.

"Uh, yeah a few times." Meena answered. "I'm not a professional or anything! I come with Blau to his games and stuff and skate around after but that's pretty much it."

Tina nodded, turning towards Brodin and looking up at him. "Got another pro over here."

Meena softly smiled before making her way over to Leslie who was hold the camera in front of Foolish and Luna. They stood back to back as they did a quick, impromptu height check.

Leslie looked back, before turning herself around to show the chat Meena.

"Look at how beautiful she is." Leslie muttered. "Yeah... Yeah I know chat."

Meena scrunched her nose as she drew closer towards the camera. "Hello, hello."

"There's Blau." Foolish pointed.

Meena turned her head, seeing him walking back and forth from the ice to the others. He really wanted everyone to have a good time and not eat complete shit on the ice. He wanted this to be a fun day with the cameras on and off.

"I can take the camera, Leslie." Meena said.

Leslie gave her a soft smile before passing the camera over and soon enough the group found themselves on the ice.

Meena skated a little further away from the others to try and get everyone on camera. They only had two mics and one of them had been attached to Foolish while Tina had the other clipped to the collar of her shirt.

Meena softly laughed as she panned the camera over towards Luna and Foolish, the girl wobbling as she skated around Foolish who turned his head to watch her skate, the smile never leaving his face.

"Can you guys hear Foolish at all?" Meena asked in a whisper as she turned.

"Meena?"

She turned around seeing Tina coming up to her and connecting the microphone to her shirt and taking the camera from her hands.

"Show me what you got pretty lady!" Tina smiled.

Meena laughed, throwing her head back as she skated backwards. "I think I can do I spin."

"Someone said if you eat it, they clip it." Miyoung said. "Don't do that to her."

Meena began to put weight onto one foot and pushed as she tucked her arms in and spun. The world blurred around her for a moment, her balance steady as she completed a clean twirl before smoothly stopping herself.

"She said she wasn't a professional!" Tina shouted.

"Oh, that was cool." Foolish said, skating over with Luna.

"Okay, but can you teach me how to do that?" Luna asked, cautiously skating toward her.

"Absolutely," Meena grinned, taking Luna's hands to guide her.

Meanwhile, in the background, Blau had been watching.

He was still casually skating circles around the others, acting as the unofficial coach of the session, but his focus kept shifting.

Meena and Luna, hand in hand skated around the rink as Foolish took the camera from Tina.

And as much as she tried, she didn't think she could teach Luna how to spin. Instead, she told the girl to just stick with the singing and she would be just fine.

The group raced around the rink, ate complete shit, and did a little conga line for a few minutes before Blau wanted to teach the group small things to help them get better groove of the ice.

He was able to get the microphone from Meena who attached it to his hockey jersey as he let Foolish use his hockey shin guards to show him how to stop or block a puck if he ever decided to switch careers.

From a distances, further off from the others were Meena and Tarik. They had been with each other for a few minutes just standing and Meena showing him how to properly stop before he ate shit.

"Okay, you're still wobbly," she pointed out, laughing.

"I'm trying, alright?" Tarik huffed, his arms slightly out as he tried to balance himself.

Meena skated closer, holding out her hands. "Here, hold my hands. I'll pull you forward."

Tarik hesitated for a second before reaching out, gripping her hands as she slowly pulled him forward, guiding him across the ice.

Tina's camera zoomed in on Blau immediately. "Thoughts on everything?"

Blau turned his head, his arms crossed over his chest. He knew that Tina knew about their relationship and blasting the fact that he couldn't be openly affection with her just yet was a sore subject that he wouldn't comment on.

But Tina was sly, she knew what she was doing as she turned back around with the camera and watched Luna and Brodin join in on the skating with Meena and Tarik, the four for them skating towards the wall until Foolish stood in front of them and not moving causing Luna to collide with him and fall on top of him.

The laughter was caught on camera before Meena turned her attention back towards Tarik. "Okay, now try stopping."

Tarik attempted it but nearly fell, and Meena laughed as she caught him by the arms. "You're getting better!"

Blau, watching from across the rink, took a deep breath before skating over.

Smoothly sliding between Meena and Tarik, he clapped a hand on Tarik's shoulder.

He took over and Meena nodded, giving him the microphone back before and skating off towards Bordin to skate with him and Miyoung.

After that, Foolish gathered everyone around as the Zamboni made its way onto the ice.

"Okay everyone smile." Foolish grinned before waving goodbye to his chat.

The group made their way off the ice and out of the rink. They decided to have lunch together before making their way back to the apartment to just relax, maybe watch a movie if they could all agree on a solid watch.

Meena dragged herself upstairs, Blau following behind with Mika.

Blau leaned against the doorway, rubbing the back of his neck as he watched Meena move around her room. She had already kicked off her shoes, tossing them haphazardly under her bed, and was now in the process of pulling her hair into a loose ponytail. Mika, ever the opportunist, had jumped onto the bed and sprawled out like he owned the place.

Meena turned to look at him, her expression shifting from casual to concerned as she took in his demeanor. "You okay?" she asked, tilting her head.

To admit that he was jealous of Tarik seemed odd to him. But with that chat and just... no being able to just be boyfriend and girlfriend in publish was hard and he didn't want to admit it, but it was clear on his face. She just didn't recognize it.

Blau hesitated. "Yeah. Just a long day." He shrugged, but it wasn't convincing.

Meena frowned, crossing her arms. "Nathan, you've barely said a word since we got back. You're usually talking my ear off by now."

Blau let out a soft chuckle, shaking his head. "Is that your way of saying you miss the sound of my voice?"

Meena rolled her eyes but didn't drop it. "You know what I mean." She stepped closer. "Did something happen?"

Blau exhaled, running a hand through his hair. He wanted to tell her it was nothing, that he was fine, but the weight of whatever had been sitting in his chest all evening hadn't quite lifted.

"I don't know," he admitted after a beat. "I guess I just... felt kind of off today."

Meena's brows knit together. "Off how?"

Blau shifted, his hands finding his pockets. The feeling had lodged itself somewhere deep in his gut, and now he couldn't shake it.

"Just tired," he said instead. "Maybe I just need sleep."

Meena didn't look convinced, but she didn't push. Instead, she reached out, her fingers brushing against the sleeve of his hoodie. "Okay. But if you wanna talk about whatever's on your mind, you know you can, right?"

Blau glanced down at her, his lips twitching at the sincerity in her voice. "Yeah, I know."

For a second, neither of them moved, the room filled only with the sound of Mika sighing dramatically into the pillows. Then Meena's lips curved into a small smile.

"Come on." She smiled, nudging his shoulder before standing by his side, her arms crossed. "I'm sure they've argued about what movie they wanted to watch."

Blau exhaled, his fingers brushing against his hoodie sleeve as Meena lingered beside him. She didn't push, didn't pry—just stood there, waiting, her warmth close enough to remind him that she was here, even if he didn't have the words for whatever was bothering him.

Then, with an easy tilt of her head, she puckered her lips at him, an unspoken invitation.

Blau smirked, shaking his head at her, but he didn't hesitate. He dipped down, pressing a quick, soft kiss against her lips.

When he pulled back, Meena was already grinning, her eyes dancing with amusement. "Better?"

Blau huffed a quiet laugh. "Was that supposed to fix me?"

She shrugged, nudging his arm. "Hey, a kiss from me has magical properties. You should be grateful."

"Oh, I am," he teased.

"Good," she called over her shoulder. "Now hurry up before they pick something unwatchable."

Blau sighed, shaking his head as he followed after her, the heaviness in his chest not completely gone, but somehow, a little easier to carry.
