Charlie Bishop's room was a perfect blend of organized chaos, reflecting her vibrant personality and electric tastes. The walls were a soft shade of lavender, adorned with posters of her favorite bands and movies, giving the space a cozy, liven-in feel. Fairy lights were strung across the ceiling, casting a warm, inviting glow that made the room feel magical, especially at night. Her bed, usually unmade, was covered with a colorful quilt and an assortment of mismatched pillows. A stack of books, ranging from fantasy novels to scientific journals, sat on her nightstand, along with a vintage lamp that she found at a thrift store. The bedside table also held a small collection of trinkets and souvenirs from various adventurous, each with its own story to tell.

Against one wall was a desk cluttered with notebooks, sketches, and a laptop, where Charlie would spend hours watching her favorite shows or doing homework. Above the desk, a corkboard was pinned with photographs, ticket stubs, and notes, forming a collage of memories and inspiration. Her closet door was slightly ajar, revealing a mix of clothes haphazardly hung up or tossed in a pile on the floor. Despite the mess, Charlie knew where everything was, and the room had a certain charm that made it uniquely hers.

Shelves lined up with an array of items- old cameras, figurines, and a collection of vinyl records added to the roms character. A small record player sat on a dresser, often filling the room with the sounds of her favorite tunes. In one corner, a bean bag chair provided a cozy spot for reading or just daydreaming, surrounded by more books and a few scattered art supplies. The window, framed by sheer curtains, offered a view of the backyard, where Charlie often found creative endeavors.

Overall, Charlie's room was a reflection of her adventurous spirit and curious mind, a place where she could escape into her own world while still feeling connected to the things she loved most.  Charlie was awake, dreading to go back to school tomorrow, which would be her first day of sophmore year. She sat criss-crossed on her bed, reading the first twilight book (one of her favorites). Before she could finish the chapter, she heard a tiny sound throughout her room. Quickly shutting the book, she got up and walked over to where the sound was coming from, what happened to be her window. Furrowing her eyebrows, she opened up the curtains and sighed when she saw her two best friends outside her backyard, throwing rocks to try to get her attention. She opened the window, quickly moving to the side so she won't get hit by the one Scott just threw.

"What the hell?" She hissed, making Scott hold up his arms defensively. ''Stiles made me do it!" That made sense, she thought.  She leaned closer outside, "what do you guys want? It's almost midnight." Stiles smiled, which made the teenager's heart flutter. "We've been texting. My dad got a dispatch call, come with us." Charlie thought about it. "You won't take no for an answer, right?" She called out. Both of the boys nodded, making the girl turn around and grab her things.

Stiles's dad is the sheriff of their small town, so Stiles likes to listen into his conversation from time to time. Putting on he converse and grabbing a jacket, she checked her phone before leaving, seeing that they did leave her a couple messages. Sighing, she walked over to the window and shut, before climbing down the tree that was next to it. It's so easy for her to do, because well face it, she's snuck out multiple times before. "Come on, lets go." She said, not wanting to be caught.

Walking to the classic blue two door jeep that Stiles owns, Charlie waited for Scott to get to the backseat, so she could have the front. Stiles was already in the car, waiting for his best friends to get in after him. "After you," Charlie said, moving her arms towards the door. Scott rolled his eyes and shook his head. "No. No way, Char. You always get shotgun." Charlie laughed.

"Scott, you sit there all the time I'm not with you guys! Just go in the back." Before the two of them could argue anymore, Stiles moved closer in his seat, so that he could face them better. "You guys get in the car. Scott, go to the back." Charlie had a satisfied look on her face, as Scott rolled his eyes and walked into the car, getting to the back seat, feeling very cramped back here.

"How's the view, Scotty?" Charlie asked while turning her head, having a small smirk on her face. Scott instantly gave her the middle finger. "Children. My best friends like to act like children," Stiles mumbled as he started the car and drove off the the Beacon Hills preserve. It wasn't much longer till the young Stilinski boy parked in front of the sign, leading into the park. Charlie quickly got out of the jeep and walked to the front, where her friends were.

"We're seriously doing this?" Scott asked, disbelieve shown in his voice. Charlie stood in the middle of the boys, wondering the exact same thing that Scott thought out loud. "You two are the ones always bitching that nothing is happening in this town," Stiles complained, walking further in the park, holding his flashlight up high where the trio could see what is in front of them.

"I meant like a famous actor coming through," Charlie mumbled as Stiles patted Scott on his shoulder, leaving the two friends to follow behind him. "I was trying to get a good night's sleep before practice tomorrow," Scott mentioned. Charlie smiled at her friend before she continued walking. All of his life, Scott and Stiles have always sat on the bleachers when it comes to their games. Charlie knows they might not be the best, but it makes her mad that coach doesn't put them out there.

"Right, because sitting on the bench is such a grueling efort." Stiles said sarcastically. Scott scoffed. "No. Because I'm playing this year." Charlie smiled at Scott. "That's the spirit," she said. "In fact I'm making first line." This sentence caused Stiles to laugh. "Hey that's the spirit!" He said repeating Charlie's words. Charlie sped up to hit the Stilinski boy in his arm. "Don't be cruel." She muttered.

Walking beside Stiles, the three of them began walking further into the woods. Charlie started to hate the feeling of being in these woods at night. She should've just told the boys goodnight. "Everyone should have a dream, even a pathetically unrealistic one." Charlie hated when the three of them would get into arguments or have little ones. So she stood up for Scott. "Yeah, like your crush on Lydia Martin." Stiles pointed the flashlight towards the girl. "Hey. She'll notice me one day." Charlie nodded her head in a sarcastic way, as Scott looked towards her. He was the only one that knew about her crush on the Stilinski boy.

He found out when they were freshman. She was crying in her room one night when he came over to have a movie night. She didn't want to tell him at first, but he had just wanted to make her feel better. So she spilled the beans about her crush on Stiles. How she's like him since she was fourteen, and how much she envy's Lydia. Scott told her Stiles would come around eventually, and how Lydia's just a silly little crush, but she doesn't believe him.

She don't know if she ever will.

"Just out of curiosity which half of the body are we looking for?" Scott asked. This made Charlie stop dead in her tracks. "Excuse me? Which, half? You just said there was a dead body. Not that it was cut into two!" Charlie yelled, while moving her hands. Stiles started to scratch the back of his neck, something he did when he wa nervous. "If we said that you wouldn't have come...." Stiles mentioned, making the girl laugh. "You're damn right." She muttered, extremely pissed off and even more scared.

"Huh! I didn't even think about that." Stiles laughed nervously as they continued walking. Boys. Charlie thought. "And what if whoever killed the body is still out there?" Scott asked making Charlie hug herself. "Scott, please stop..."

Stiles turned his head towards the left. "Also something I didn't think about."

Charlie wished she was at home right now, however she was looking for a dead body, one of the worse choices the three of them have ever made.

"It's comforting to know you have this all planned out," Scott replied with a smirk as the friens each took turns climbing up the hill, trying not to fall. "Maybe the one with asthma should be holding the flashlight," Scott huffed out as he laid up against a tree.

As Charlie walked up Stiles instantly told her to step down and hide. Quickly she slid right next to him, not wanting to get caught by anything. All she saw were people, most likely the cops trying to find the killer.

"This was such a bad, idea." She said, as the two boys slowly turned to look at her, with a worried expression.

"Come on!" Stiles yelled, suddenly jumping up and leaving Scott and Charlie behind. Charlie instantly turned to Scott, as he yelled out Stiles name. Rolling her eyes she got up before Scott and ran after the boy, slowly catching up to him. Good thing she did track last year. The hardest part was trying to hide from the cops, not wanting to get caught, so she kept looking behind her each time she ran.

Out of breath she ran into the Stilinski boy, quickly apologizing to him. "You okay?" He asked as she nodded. Before the two could wait on Scott, a big dog started to bark in front of them, with a even brighter light shining in their face. Stiles fell to the ground, making Charlie giggle. "Stay right there! Hang on, hang on, these two belong to me." Stiles dad said.

As Stiles stood up, he was sweating and holding his hands in front of his face. "Hey dad, how you doing?" He asked, trying to look anywhere but his dad. Charlie was doing the same thing. "So, do you uh, listen to all my phone calls?" He asked. Charlie turned to look sideways at the boy. "No." He lied.

"Not the boring ones." Charlie smiled.

"Nice to see you, Miss Bishop." Charlie smiled at the adult, while giving him a tiny wave. "You too." The dad looked between the two teenagers, before looking around. "Where is your guys usual partner in crime?" Charlie stayed quiet. If Mr. Stilinski asked her, she would definitely blow Scott's cover. "Who, Scott?" Stiles asked. "Scott's home. Said he wanted to good night sleep for first day back at school tomorrow. It's just me and Charlie, alone in the woods." He said, pulling Charlie closer to his side for a awkward hug.

"Just the two of you guys, huh?" Charlie instantly nodded, biting her tongue, while Stiles turned to look at her before saying yes.

His dad may have believed him, but just to be sure, he yelled out for Scott. When Scott didn't show up, he looked at his son. "You young man, are going to take Charlie home straight away, than when I get home we are going to have a conversation about something called invasion of privacy." He instructed, while holding onto Stiles.

Let's just say it was a wild night.
