Chapter 39
So, you guys don't want to do the contest? That wasted my time writing that chapter. Maybe I can give more time...~~~~~~~~~
Two months later, Lizzy became two and Sophie was 3 months pregnant. You could tell she was pregnant, but not as pregnant looking as she was when she was pregnant with Lizzy.
They had Della plan a party with Edaline. Again, usually elves didn't celebrate birthdays, but Sophie would keep doing celebrating them.
When the party was supposed to start, people started coming. Della, Edaline, and Grady were there. It was at Havenfield. Alden came next. Then Keefe, Biana and Logan. Lizzy hugged Logan when they got there. Then, Dex, Marella and Dex's parents came. Then Alvar and one of his girlfriends. Then, Edaline and Grady's parents, Josephine, Gregory, Paula and Steve, Lizzy's grandparents and people that Sophie haven't met before. Lastly, Fitz came.
"I'm so sorry everyone. I was stuck at work," he said, kissing Lizzy and Sophie on the cheek. "Hey, birthday girl. How are you?"
"I'm good, Daddy. I missed you." She answered, hugging his leg. "And how's little Logan?" He asked Biana. "Loud." Biana said, tiredly.
Everyone laughed. "So, what are we going to do now?" Sophie asked. "We will eat all of Lizzy's favorites, Mallowmelt and Mashed Carnissa Root, and then play some games."
Everyone agreed and sat at the table. When they were done, everyone went outside, except Sophie. She just walked around outside and listened to the happy shrieks of Lizzy.
She walked through the living room and then the kitchen and dining room and all the other rooms. She ended up in her still fully furnished room. She saw the spot where Izzy's cage sat on her desk. She saw the body shaped "dent" on her bed that showed where she slept. She saw her Foxfire uniforms and notes. But there was one thing that wasn't there before.
It was a box and two slips of paper. One paper said,
You will always be mine,
S.A.
The other said,
There are still dangers out there. Watch out.
-B.S.
The box held a charm for Jolie's/her charm bracelet. It was a swan. Half of it was white and half of it was black. The back was engraved with the words, Always there.
Something was wrong.
