Chapter 3
Sophie's list made her happy. Fitz Vacker was number one. Keefe Sencen was her number five. Dex Dizznee was her number forty-nine.
Fitz, her first friend and her old crush.
Keefe, flirty and protective not to mention funny and brave.
Dex, her best friend. She was surprised he was so high on her list. Apparently the "Matchers" don't believe him to be her cousin.
When she had the time, she went to Biana's dorm, which was right next to hers and told her about the list. Biana was pouting because she didn't get hers yet. Just as she was about to complain about it, a scroll popped onto her desk. Sophie yelped and Biana took a step away from it. Then words Match Making were written on it. She smiled and grabbed the scroll.
She pumped a fist in the air when she saw who was on her list. Only one person was on it that Sophie knew. It was Keefe. He was Biana's number two. Some Telepath was Biana's one.
"I think we have to go celebrate, Sophie." Biana said. " I know just the place." She started to pull Sophie out but she said, "Okay, but let me call my mom first." After Sophie called Edaline, who was crying tears of joy, Biana grabbed Sophie's hand and pulls her to the school's Leapmaster.
When the light faded away, they were standing in front of a colorful crystal building. There was flashing lights and music coming from it and it reminded Sophie of a club in the human world. They went inside and strange music blasted in Sophie's ears.
"It's cool, isn't it?" Biana yelled. "Yeah. It's cool." Sophie yelled back. And it was. There were little tables abd chairs where people were sitting. There was sone bars with strange drinks behind them and people working. There was a dance floor and Sophie couldn't find the source of the music. There was even a ball pit that was full of multicolored balls that popped when you land in them, covering you with colors. And when you get out, their is a sponge thing that you stand on that dries you automatically. Cool, was an understatement.
Biana pulled Sophie to one of the bars and started flirting with the bartender. She ordered two drinks and paid for them. It looked like purple slime and Sophie wasn't sure if she wanted it. "Don't worry. It's good. Try it," Biana loudly. She took a sip and it reminded her of soda, put it was kind of sour. "Don't you think this is kind of sour?" Sophie yelled. "Yes. But you get used to it." After a couple of drinks, Sophie was used to the sources and couldn't get enough of it. Her mind was getting fuzzy, though, and soon she was acting weird.
"You know, your kind of cute," she giggled to the bartender. "Ok. I think you had enough drinks." Biana said, put her away from the bartender and out the door. Sophie read the sign and it said "Funtime. She would have to remember that so she could go there again.Biana got her pathfinder out and the light whisked then away.
