Sophie looked in the mirror at herself, staring at the flareadon costume. It did remind her of Gildie.

She realized that this year would be different. First of all, it's her first year in the towers and second of all, Fitz and Keefe wouldn't be there to make her laugh, comfort her or anything. She already missed Fitz's smile and his voice in her head and she already missed Keefe's smirk and teasing.

Vertina popped up and said,"You realize you're crying, right? And by the way, you don't look that good that you have to cry over yourself."

"I'm not crying about that." She snapped, whipping her tears away. "It's my first year in the towers and everything is going to be different." Virginia's look softened,"Oh. Jolie said the exact same thing. I've got to go.' Tears were streaming down her tiny face. Sophie looked at herself again and smiled. She did look alot like Jolie. She was partially glad because Jolie was beautiful. But another part still thought tr hat her parents only wanted her because she looked like Jolie. She pushed the though away and went to get her bags.

Being in the towers meant hardcore studying and to do that, you would have to move into a dorm, so you don't get interrupted in the middle of studying.

She went down stairs with her bags, being followed by Sandor.

Sandor was much better. He had fallen of that clift a little more than 3 years ago and he was fixed. Physically, anyway. He muttered to himself all the time about things like ogres and Neverseen and Sophie. It got kind of annoying.

Sophie stood in the kitchen, looking at it for the last time for two years. She had so many great memories in here. With her friends and family. Edaline and Grady were standing there, with tears streaming down their faces.

"Oh, Sophie. You look so grown up," Edaline said opening her arms for a hug. Grady hugged them both and they stood there for about five minutes until Grady pulled away. He cleared his throat. "We have something for you." He put his hand in his pocket and pulled out a little wood box. He open it carefully and pulled out a silver and gold charm bracelet. Edaline gasped and covered her eyes. Grady clears his voice again, "This was Jolie's. Every year she got a new charm. She would jave wanted you to have it." Sophie held up her arm and Grady put it on around her wrist. She hugged them both. "I love you, mom and dad."

"We love you too." They all started crying again. After awhile they pulled away and Edaline said,"I made you a big breakfast bed or your big day." She snapped jer fingers and the tavle was covered with orange mush that tasted like banana bread, lushberry juice, green cubes that tasted like scrambled eggs, orange tubers that tasted like bacon and purple donut shaped things that tastedblike cheese cake.

Sophie tried eating it all and with Grady's help she did. She laughed when Grady stuffed his mouth full of the green cubes.

After breakfast, Grady had a talk with Sandor. When they came back, Sandor looked angry and stomped all over the place. He left without saying good bye. "I told him that we don't need his services any more," Grady whispered," and when he didn't want to go, I threatened him with my ability." His face was dark and Sophie flinched. She had seen him use his ability only a couple of times but she didn't want to again. "Well, he could have atleast said good bye."

"You could call him on your Imparter." That's what she did. He answered right away. "I'm sorry for storming off. I'm guessing Mr.Ruewen told you everything?" She shook her head yes. "Well, it was an honor protecting you, Ms.Foster." he said in his soft voice. His soft voce thay reminded Sophie of a bunny rabbit. Ahe hub up and walked inside. She didn't see her luggage anywhere.

"I already conjured it to your dorm," Edaline said from behind her. Sophie jumped but then ran over and gave her a hug. "I love you." She said. "I live you too, Sophie." Edaline answered. "And one thing," she continued quietly,"Have you thought about your Match Maker's list lately?" Sophie sighed. Just because she wants to sigh. It wasn't a happy or sad one. "I think I will do it when I have time one the weekend. I'm sure Biana will want to come with me." She answered quietly.

Edaline nodded her head slowly. "Ok. Will you stop by or call me once you get it?"

"Of course, mom." They stop there quietly for a couple of minutes, judt looking at eachother. Then, they hugged and Sophie went to the Leapmaster 1000. "Foxfire!" She yelled and the light swept her off to her future.
